What was once an extension to download videos from sites such as YouTube, has now turned into a shady tool (Free SMS, etc.) since recent update of this extension. If you're wondering how this SMS extension got installed on your web browser, this is why.

Works Great! It is integrated right into the youtube bar so it doesnt clutter up your chrome main bar. No extra pop ups just download from the options. Very efficient and clean.
Great extension. Much better than the slow downloaders out there. Could we see a 60fps download integrated for YouTube in the future?

It even works on chromebooks! :D
Seems to work well but you have to know where the button is: underneath the SUBSCRIBE button in the lower left of a YouTube video.

This works quickly and easily. Note that the Download link sits directly below the YouTube Subscribe button on the bottom right of the video screen. When you click the Download link you get a pop-down list of possible download formats. The maximum MP4 size you can select is 360p. I was hoping for better resolution.
ONLY works on YouTube
Check under the title to the video where the "add" and "share" buttons are. It adds a "download" button right there. Works great!

This is the best one around, but I really wish it supported all available video formats on YT. Disappointing to only get 720P when better encodings are available. Might not be an issue with the extension, but a limitation by YT.

It works as expected - at least on YouTube. The download button is not where expected, so please have a look on under video bar (under uploader's nick name and subscribe button).

Works fine for me! I used this when it was just a 3rd party extension for a couple of years - by the name "ultimate youtube downloader". Good to see it "official". I have no idea why some of you can't find the download button on youtube?! I never surf youtube without it lol!

I have the same issue. I can see only 360p and 240p I don't have 480p or 720p but I can view the video in 720p
Does not allow 1080p or 480p downloads for me, only 240, 360, and 720. Could this issue be fixed ?
