often fails to send even basic text messages. now will never send mms. unreliable and very slow. sometimes sends messages after I already sent duplicate on phone. no point in upgrading if the basic version is this bad.

Take long time for application to pickup new contacts. Does not always show texts sent from phone in MySMS.

Couldn't log in. Others with the same issue got no help. Uninstalled.

Came across this app for my chromebook, Using my phone its always hard to send text messages where I am, either at work or home. This app helps tremendously now I dont have to walk thru the office hold my phone up trying to get my messages to send(thanks sprint). This app is very easy to use and sends messages fast... Two thumbs up.

used to love it. i pay for premium and cant get it on my imac anymore. just wastes mu=y time going around in circles. and i have two cell phones. they do not sync anymore. so i see all txt messages on my main fone, the otherone gets some of them.. later on. i mean days or weeks or not at all. what is going on.

I was so excited a few years back when I found I could text from my PC on mysms! It's worked great! But it seems today like they're either diminished by corporate or just plain hacked. I can still use it from my Android, but WHY? I have a messaging app already. Today, mysms REFUSES to see my w8 pc and login or recover my account! I can use everything else, so what's up? Are they bankrupt?

Quite often outgoing texts never leave my PC.

I really like MYSMS, I only wished that it worked consistently. Whenever I text my daughter I get, "Sorry, this service is not available." I paid for premium and I don't grudge the money, but it's crucial that I am able to text my daughter, and since I can't I have to get rid of it. It's a shame but otherwise I think it's great.

not very good when you don't have a phone

Started with Google signup on my Chromebook. No response, so I installed and registered the app on my Android phone. Went back to the CB, clicked login with Google. That appeared to be successful, but then again there was no response.

horrible, does not sync. and also significant delay. second review, where did the first go?

Indispensible. I use this all day everyday to text with my friends on my computer. So convenient and I've found it to be very stable.

I get terrible Cell service where I work so this is the perfect solution.

It won't let me sign in. I installed it on my cell and it gave me the link. I'm unable to sigh in or even create an account. I uninstalled it on my cell and will look for something that works.

I was using another app but it doesn't play with Edge on Windows 10. I tried Google's new hook up but am constantly loosing connectivity. This app has been reliable and that is what I need! Premium User Too.

It was working fine under Chrome but all of the sudden it stop working. Sign in with Google account does not respond at all.

I find this v. useful bc I'm at my computer most of the time and I never know where my phone is. See sms's instantly. When I get a call (usually my mum) I call her back on skype. It wd be nice to be able to return sms's for free, direct from the app (rather than firing up skype), but hey.

Unlimited messages and only $10/yr to remove the ads. I've tried others and this one is the best so far.

This app lacks a mic and a camera function. Important for most but critical for a stroke disabled person. Get it gear MyMSM. This is simple and will get you many more users. F B Messenger (data thief) is waning...pick up the slack...and why not?

I love this app, but the last few months I have not been able to log into the web version or chrome extension which is a huge part of why I use it instead of other messaging apps. I also pay for the premium but am frustrated by not being able to access from my computer or tablet.

Working well so far. Have subscribed for a year. We will see how it works. Right now I really like being able to text from my PC keyboard. I used to have a Blackberry phone that interfaced well with my PC and I have really missed it since upgrading. I like this!

Doesn't have the end-to-end encryption of Signal, but more convenient, better feature set; works from any phone/tablet/browser, all sync, switched back after short try of Signal, like the security but missed the convenience;

Suddenly I am unable to sign in. I click my gmail account, a window pops up, and then it disappears. I searched the help area and found others having that problem, but I didn't see any answers or that it's being addressed. So, I'm going to try a different app.

No longer seems to work as a chrome extension.

Love it! Couldn't live without it. I can't type on a phone because the keys are so small. This makes it possible to type on my full-size keyboard which is awesome! It also saves ALL text messages to my Google Drive. I didn't know this until a while back when I NEEDED some old text messages for a legal matter that had come up. And then I discovered they were gone and I discovered the phone companies don't keep a copy - more than maybe a few weeks or couple of months! And they won't give them to you anyway even if they do have them. So now, all my messages are safe in case I would ever need them in the future.

Right Now Because of an ALERT about SYNCING It's a ROYAL PAIN IN THE A**.

I been using the free version for while and not happy because it syncs with phone when it pleases. Many times is days behind? why? I though of buying but why when is not reliable always have to look at the phone to make sure no messages dropped.

Sometimes I do not receive a message.

I really like this app, using it on my MacBook Pro. Usually everything syncs and works well; my phone is set to limit data, so there will be a delay for the notification that a text has arrived sometimes, but that's my own choice to save battery and data. It'd be great if the phone's notification would go away once I've addressed that notification with my mac!

I use the free version and it works for me, it even recovers some older deleted messages if i install it in another laptop!

Used to be you could log in with just your phone number. Now you have to use your Google account, which means everything which runs through this app is vacuumed up by them and added to your stored profile. No thanks. I’d even paid for premium in the past. SO tired of this.

Good app, but reliability isn't great. Lack of .vcf (vCard) file support is a major downside!

it sends the message, but doesn't synch on the browser just keeps showing "in deliver". Not to mention scrolling is backwards and I can't change it, disappointing.

Stopped working after 5 min. (nothing would update or send)

fantastically easy to use

It is very easy to use and I love it. Especially when I am in one room using my computer and my phone is charging in another it keeps me connected, so I don't miss a message or call.

Generally I like it and have been using the free version for a couple of years. I did subscribe to Premium for a year but couldn't notice the difference and couldn't make it enable me to answer phone calls remotely which was supposed to be a major benefit. Really easy and convenient to be able to type texts on my Mac though. Dropped a star because it used to be more stable, increasingly I notice little glitches and maybe they are overdeveloping the app. KISS is what I say

very rarely sync. tried all of their tips in their help section and only randomly can get it to sync

it doesn't sync to my phone. no real-time receiving & sending of msgs. I create group to be the recipient of my SMS msgs.

Very good and unlike Mightytext they don't make you pay after you reach a certain number of texts each month. (IE. Make you purchase premium)

it is very inconsistent on which messages come through and the messages that do come through are very delayed

Works fine on my note 4. I can see all texts(present and past), able to text from my computer and the messages, incoming and outgoing, can be seen on my phone as well. It also alerts me if I have a phone call. I does what it's supposed to do so far.

why do you need to read my browsing history?

Was just what I was looking for. Wish the desktop version used Material Design. Also would be nice to be able to reply directly from a panel when clicking on the browser extension instead of launching a new tab.

VERY FRUSTRATING WON'T STAY SYNCED WITH PHONE!!!! Wouldn't stay synced with my Android phone. I lost $9.99 on this deal. I do not recommend this app. I am using MIGHTYTEXT and it is much more reliable and stays synced to my Android. MAJOR HEADACHE!!!!!!

Brilliant! did exactly what have been thinking of. I got notified even when someone is calling me. Cant be better.

I run this on win10 and it works great. I can type way faster then text from the phone. Great product.

Worked find until recently. Now, when texts come in, I still get a notification, but clicking on them does nothing (they just go away). Clicking on the mysms logo in the upper right does nothing either. I have to manually load app.mysms.com from a bookmark to see the full text and respond. Annoying.

After MightyText started having unusable issues, I found MySMS. Support is on point and diligent.

I would give this app 5 stars if only it would update my incoming texts without the need for a manual refresh of the website.

It is a wonferful chrome app, a very convenient interface! It would be nice to get more contact icons and allow custom icons. Also, it would be nice to sync the custom contacts between mySMS on Chrome and android - maybe to sync them to google contacts, two way - to allow updating google contacts from mySMS.

Will not function without an Andorid phone I dont have.

This just made my business and life so much easier and more productive

Doesn't really do anything except show if you have unread texts. It often shows an unread count when you don't have any unread messages.

A Good Extension for those who hate touch keyboards on smartphones :-)

I would have given the app 5 stars had it refreshed itself automatically. As it stand you actually need to refresh the tab to get your most recent messages

This extension is basically useless, like the "app" that they produced for Chrome. I love mysms, and have used it for years, but the Chrome "App" is nothing more than a glorified bookmark to the website, and the extension is the exact same thing. There's no functionality to it, other than the notification indicator when you get a message, and it opening the website for you when you click it. Absolutely stupid. I am keeping it installed for no reason other than that it gives me that little blurb or red when I have a message, as opposed to the usual "wavy tab" thing that Chrome does and fails to draw my attention. Seriously, though, come on people. Take a look at Checker Plus for Gmail, a actual FUNCTIONAL extension. Take a look at Silver Bird for Twitter. These are extensions that you can physically interact with a drop down and do what you need to do without opening a browser tab. Making an extension that's just a link to a browser tab is a cop-out at best. Get it together, people.

Works great very useful, but like user before i have a 24 inch monitor and anyone walking by my desk can read my text msg`s can we have an option to close that part down or shrink please

Great App, I have it on my tablet, laptop and PC. all linked to mobile. I can txt from all of them without phone by my side all the time. Great
