Super useful extension, nice features and it just works! :) Things to improve? ... a single button to quickly open all the logged new posts for a subreddit into new tabs (instead of one by one) would be nice, also, a way for the app to notify about new reddit chat messages and requests would be useful (because not everyone uses the old private messages system nowadays).

This extension is EXACTLY WHAT IVE BEEN LOOKING FOR AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY!!! The only request I could have would be a few more sounds for the notifications or the ability to use our own alert tones I just want something a little more pleasant to the ear while also being able to alert me. That said, its perfect the request for more alert tones is just a request not a complaint. Please keep up the great work!

Great extension! However, why - "It just checks the latest 10 posts in given Subreddits, Reddit Searches, or following users. This means that the extension may miss some posts if more than 10 of them were posted during the selected interval. It often happens when you just open the browser after a long time or set a big update interval for Subreddits with frequent updates" ? Why only last 10? What if I follow more users, say 30-40, I won't be notified for half of them? Does the extension only check first 10 users and ignores others?

If you buy/sell/trade on reddit this is a MUST, otherwise you'll be left in the dust! Get something going for mobile and I would GLADLY pay for it! Great extension overall!

It'd be nice if there was a way to get notifications when a particular user comments or posts.

works great but there like a delay of 10 min since post is created... is there any way to sped up fetch?

This functions pretty well for the most part, but despite the fact that I have it set to refresh very often, it occasionally sends me the notification way late, which is a bummer since I'm using it on market subreddits where things get snatched up very quickly.

Amazing how hard it was to find a Reddit post notifier for PC. This was pretty much exactly what I wanted. It works great and has some good customization options for how you want to be notified. It even lets you redirect to old reddit if you prefer that.

Excellent extension with some great features! You can even see your new updates in a popup, without having to go to reddit, by clicking the toolbar button. Love it! Thank you for removing the need to authorize, dev.

I needed a way to be notified when someone makes a post on r/mechmarket where sometimes items go for sale and if you don't jump on it before it's too late, someone else has already grabbed it. So I need a way to be quickly notified if some post is posted there that qualifies a certain search term in a subreddit. And this does exactly that. I get a sound and a desktop notification when something passes the filter. I like this extension. I took off one star because it requires you to login and you basically have to authorize it to be able to view your inbox, posts and also authorize it to allow it to send messages on your behalf. I don't see why all this is needed and it seems like a security/privacy concern. I mean it is entirely possible that someone could be able to view our private reddit inbox, content etc. That's a major red flag but I guess we can log into it with an account that doesn't have much, so yeah. I wish it was possible to have login optional for something like what I wish to do, which is to just get notifications about new posts that match a search criteria. But still, works just as good as you'd expect. It also comes with a customizable refresh interval, which is handy, depending on how desperate you are :P
