As a small business I love that copper can keep my emails and task organized. The large CRM platforms were too much. As my day is all email, Copper is just what I need.
This extension is helping me every day to manage my work more efficiently. Get direct access to people, company and deal information is the key benefit that this extension offers. Well done!
Its pretty poor, works for a week then destroys my gmail interface. Actively trialing alternatives to copper, it is the only saas product i know that gets worse rather than better over time.
The extension messes up my email screen and hides the gmail search bar at the top.
This extension has always had its quirks and it's never been good, but it now is preventing drag-and-drop in gmail. I reset the entire browser, deleted my user profile... only to find this extension is the cause. Bye Felicia!
The extension doesn't work 90% of the time. Not detecting recipients, not allowing to turn off tracking, track email that it shouldn't etc. Tried uninstall and re-install. Didn't help.
Your classic bait and switch CRM. Promise you the world and the software comes up short. Missing major key functions to actually function a business. Made me pre pay for an entire year, and dont offer refunds or cancellations. That should tell you all you need to know.
The email tracker no longer shows the number of email opens within Gmail itself. I can still see the number of opens from the copper dashboard and the Gmail extension. Not sure if this was an intentional change.
Great option for small to medium businesses. The value for the price is great in comparison to competitors. The catch is that you need to take the time to customize for your business needs but once you get there, it is very helpful.
2020 Update: The chrome extension is great, bringing all the best parts of Copper to Gmail. Particularly like the functionality that allows you to append a one-off email to an a record (person/opportunity/lead/company/project). My only wish is that this was somehow enabled for Superhuman, as much of my team uses it in-place of gmail now. Though I know that's probably not something very high up the list - I can dream though, can't I? They are adding some really cool functionality like being able to respond to comments without even leaving a Gmail email thread (inline to the email). Keep up the great work team! Prior Review (12/2016): Pretty much the same functionality as the standalone web app all within gmail. Incredible work and the UI/UX is phenomenal. Really looking forward to watching this thing grow. The only turnoff for me at the moment is not having template functionality like what exists with StreakCRM. I am definitely switching over from Streak to Copper though. Really looking forward to the future updates and how you further integrate Google Apps with your CRM!
Comunicates so naturally and easily with my Gsuite account that looks like a part of Gmail itself.
Copper CRM update needed! On your People form, under pull down menu for adding social contacts (thanks for having that feature) please remove Google+ (that's a dead network now) and instead replace it with Instagram!
The extension has gotten EXTREMELY BUGGY, to the point of being unusable. It started over a month ago and all support says is "they're aware of it and working on a fix". The the sidebar and compose toolbar constantly refresh with every mouse click or typing action. There is some problem with the extension syncing to copper's servers. Using the most recent release of Chrome, uninstalled/re-installed the copper addon, cleared all cache...nothing fixes the issues. The email tracking is also horrendously buggy. I've brought this to the attention of support over 6 months ago but nothing ever gets fixed. I really want to like Copper, but at this point I'll probably be looking for a new CRM soon.
I had a super unpleasant experience with customer support. I'm going to happily pay more for a better CRM that actually uses their CRM.

Installing via Google Suite admin on a domain basis or per user has no effect, it does not appear in gmail. When installing directly via the chrome extension page, it works but every time an email is opened the "Automatic Research" nag pops up. Even after closing it, EVERY TIME YOU OPEN AN EMAIL it appears. This is a disappointing first impression as a new copper user.
I don't want to use Copper for email tracking or email templates because I use a different extension for that. Copper's Chrome extension clutters the Compose window with several new UI elements that I don't want, and hides an important UI element that I use every time I send an email. Furthermore, I need to uncheck the"track email with Copper" box every time I write an email. There is no way to permanently uncheck it. This completely destroys my efficient email workflow. To the Copper product team: please allow me to turn off and hide all the email tools in the Compose window! Thanks.

If you cannot have multiple addresses for a prospect it makes no sense. Every client has an office and home address just like email. There are plenty of cool features in this CRM but I saw this was brought up 2 years ago and the support response was create a home and work record for same person. Duplicate records for adding an address??? The GSuite integration was really what lead me to explore this option but at its price to features ratio I will stick with my current CapsuleCRM.

I run a small business and one of the things I wasn't doing well was forecasting future business. I used spreadsheets, ToDoIst, and Gmail to manage my sales work but had no real way to see if I was on track to achieve my goals. Prosperwork has brought all of that disparate information into one place. It allows me to track leads and move them all the way through the process to sales. I get excellent forecasting reports and can open the system up to sharing with a team member. It's a simpler tool than something like SalesForce, but so geared to sales that it is perfect for me.
Sales is only one of my many jobs and Prosperworks CRM works better than other tools that are built for people who spend all there time on sales. The integration with Gmail and ease-of-use set it apart.
They are actively making it better all the time, love it!

This is the best contact management software I have ever used. Mainly, because people use it. It rides along as you use your G Suite products and allows you to create tasks, add people, and see contact info all without leaveing your page. Liked it so well, I got a personal accout to get my tasks, email and projects in order.

As a business owner that still personally handles sales opportunities this application allows me to separate e-mails from opportunities, on the same screen. Less gets dropped by the distraction of work, and more opportunities are closed as they are in my view, everyday.

After using other CRM services I have found Paradise with Prosperworks CRM for Gmail. This has simplified my communications with my contacts. The easy of use and ability to quickly and easily jump between records is intuitively easy. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who uses CRM!

I love that I don't have to leave gmail to run my PM & CRM. I was never using Podio because it was hard to get in the habit of checking it every day. It was simple to move to ProsperWorks and get in the habit of using it because it's within gmail and connected directly to my calendar. Can even have Alexa remind me of my upcoming tasks! Danny has been great to work with setting up our account. I look forward to seeing this company grow and building my team with it.
So far so good! New user, reason for 4 stars. Finally a CRM that "gets it" and integrates right within GMail. UI is very clean and very easy to use. A great solution if you are looking for a CRM that integrates and "just works"!

Overall very fluid integration with Google Inbox which is hard to find. The interface had a few quirks and still really useful. Stronger support for email templates and scheduling would be really helpful. Much better on data security than other solutions, with team model.
This is a great extension for ProsperWorks. I can do everything I need from one computer and without ever leaving my email.

Great CRM and certainly the best integration with Google out of ALL the ones I have tried. The new extension for Inbox by Gmail is great as I much prefer that interface to standard Gmail, but works great with either. Only thing stopping it getting 5 stars is user incompetence, I am not sure how or why to use some of the features, but there are plenty of support videos to work through.

This is the most intuitive CRM I have used. I am a google person, so I took to this extension like a fish to water. Super easy to use, and everything updates across all my devices instantly. The integration with MailChimp is very helpful as well.

Outstanding. Haven't used it very long but form what I have experienced, it is very easy to use/convenient. Simply click to add contact, adjust anything necessary and in a matter of seconds, contacts are added!
We're a small business with only four sales people. We chose Prosperworks because it is simple and easy to use. We were able to go from pen-and-paper crm (read NO CRM) to taking advantage of Prosperworks in a very short time and with very little training. The results were immediate - simply having a reminder to follow up with a customer lead to a sale, that might not have otherwise happened, on the first day we started using Prosperworks. Everything works as expected. I would like to see some ability to customize the dashboard screen, but I'm told that is in the works. Overall a great product, well worth the price. In a field of CRM solutions Prosperworks stands out for simplicity and ease of use.
Just switched from Pipedrive after two years over to Prosperworks. Stronger CRM capabilities and highly integrated with Google mail/apps. Same custom pipelines as PD, but also has the Lead contact type like Salesforce (good for prospecting). Has Win/Loss and also an Abandon state. We had pipedrive just for funnel, managing CRM outside of that - so consolidating tools & goal is to get more out of mail into the CRM and get better client lifecycle visibility. Great onboarding process so far, and love the tools.
We transitioned from salesforce a few months ago. We are loving this software for it's simplicity and ease of use. I highly recommend Prosperworks if you are looking for a feature packed CRM that is also easy to use.
Works great with its current feature-set. I really would like to see email scheduling implemented, though, so I don't have to use this in tandem with another extension

So far, so good. We've recently finished working with the onboarding team to get the CRM up and running for my consulting company. I asked a lot of questions through the process and without fail, either they had an answer to my question or an anticipated rollout date for the new module to solve my problem. I've been very impressed so far. The system is intuitive and very user friendly. Since the onboarding went so seamless, we are fully integrated from the onset - this means the software will get used; and since we do so much out of G Suite, ProsperWorks is a perfect fit for my company.
So far so good. I like that I can manage the CRM from Gmail. There are a couple of features that I have either not found yet or do not exist. I can create an opportunity from the Gmail sidebar, but I can't create an opportunity based on an email. Unless I am missing something, it is a two-step process to create an opportunity and then link the email to it. I think this could be more seamless.

I'm into my first month and so far so good. The team at Prosper has been fantastic to work with.
After comparing SEVERAL CRM's I ended up going with Insightly. ProsperWorks is just too much $$$ for all of it's limitations. I am floored that they don't offer a way to SEARCH BY TAGS!!!! It's kinda drab aesthetically compared to other solutions.
This slows Gmail to a point where I'm debating if to just kill it and switch over to a different CRM
Great concept but it slows my gmail down quite a bit. Just checked and I have the latest version. Still getting 5 - 10 second load times for each gmail.
I have been demoing a few CRM apps for Real Estate sales and Prosperworks has been the best value, the easiest to use and has the best features thus far. I have tried IXACT Contact, Top Producer, Streak and Insightly to name a few. They all offered an area of strength, but Prosperworks blends seamlessly with Google Apps, has excellent automation and customization, auto loads contact info and has a full featured mobile app. Plus they have told me that Google has just opened extension development for "Inbox by Google" so they will support it soon too. I've enjoyed it enough to be willing to write this review. At least add it to your options before deciding.
Does not seem to work with Google inbox however.
I paid for this though there are a couple of big gotchas. First, you cannot search notes made within Prosperworks. This issue is probably fatal for my use. Second, it seems like I'm perpetually logging into and authenticating myself to Prosperworks. It's great that Prosperworks has a connection to Gmail but not so great when every time you open Gmail you go through a multi-step authentication. I'm probably going to write this off even though I paid for an initial year.

Great CRM! We have Salesforce and barely use it. What I love most about this CRM is how great it integrates with Google. If you are a Google Apps user and need a CRM program, you need not look further. We are a startup, so using a CRM that is simple to use, integrates with Google, and has a good price point was essential for us. ProsperWorks has all these features and more.
