Reviews & Comments of Save Chrome Tabs For Later chrome extension

This extension just bookmarks the current page in each time and closes it. It does NOT "save tabs for later". A tab is not just the page you are on, but the back button history that led you to that page. This extension does not save your tabs' history. Also it does not allow you to pick and choose which tabs to save for later. Instead it just wiped out all 10 of the tabs I had open and their associated histories. Now I have to try and sort out how I got to each of these pages from the monolithic history in the browser at large which is also absolutely useless, and why came looking for this extension in the first place. What a waste of time.

Nice extension. I use it to restore my tabs back to my incognito window after reboots and chrome restarts. The only downside I've found thus far is that it doesn't seem to support tab groups. So, all the groups will be removed. When you have 50+ tabs open, it's a mess. I see how I need to use this extension differently as the tab group itself. However, that doesn't really jive with my workflow as I constantly multitask between tab groups. In the case of the incognito window, all the grouped tabs in incognito are put in the main (non-incognito) window (while all the non-grouped tabs are put back in incognito window), and then I have to copy and paste them back into incognito (and group them). However, this is "worked around" by simply removing all the tab grouping first (in incognito only) and then using this extension to successfully restore ALL my tabs back to incognito. No biggie since I don't have many tab groups in incognito.

I like this Tab Save/Restore plugin because its visually aesthetic. The simplicity of it works just great and the large size of the widget helps you retain key points, that you want to save in memory. I have only used this plugin 1x and I could sense it was gonna work. It's unique because its not just grouping a string of urls, its not just a compressed POST IT size history saver. It really makes an impression. and the colors are easy on the eye. Thankyou very much :)?

This extension is great. Now I can save my tabs to shut down my computer instead of leaving it sleep to save my tabs. It is very simple to use.

Really good extention... i'd recommand it to my fellow colleagues... saves alot of time, before this i had to use the chrome setting to start where u left, but this really takes stuff to next level ..

I had been using this happily for a year, but with the update to a "Pro-Only" version (Only in rupee) the developer somehow managed to erase all of my previously saved tabs and windows! That lack of care alerts me that there may be other careless and shoddy problems. I would never trust this product again. Get it together! -Former user.

This extension is very easy to use and it functions exactly as expected. It takes all your tabs and saves them. You can view them from a list by clicking the extension's icon. You can also retrieve them and turn them all back into tabs by clicking a single button. If you find yourself multitasking with multitudes of tabs, this makes it very easy to switch between projects. There are aspects or functionality that could be added. The extension is pretty simple, so it's limited in it's functionality. However, it's simplicity also makes it extremely easy to use for the specific purpose it's intended. Thank you.

Exactly what I needed, very easy to use.

This is equivalent to a macro of bookmarking and closing tabs, and batch opening bookmarks. Requiring payment to "not" close the tabs.

I like Save Chrome Tabs For Later because it remembers my tabs so I don't have to. Definitely recommended.

Great one The bookmarking feature I always wanted but never got. Previously I had 100+ tabs across the window, and now usually less then 10. Nice. Simple and peacefull. The only feature that`s missing is some kind of export capability - when you transfer between systems, or update\reinstall windows, it would be nice to get all your saved tabs in a simple list, maybe just a txt file.

Awesome! I use it everyday for the past year and it has made life so much easier. The pro version adds so many useful features that make it so much worth it. I have used a few other similar extensions but this one is in a league of its own.

I just can't emphasize how helpful this extension is. Super intuitive to use and it's no clutter interface make it a default tool in my workflow, helping me being super productive. Before this, I used to copy each link of every tab, and saved it on my local drive just to open it the next day. Pain. Now all I do is click a single button to save and another button to bring em all back!!!! Plus one of the things I love is you can save multiple sessions of tab saves and each session can be called up individually. it's Great to use this and I'd 100% recommend this extension!!!

I'm in love with this extension ??. It is so simple yet powerful extension. Whenever I'm in hurry and have too many tabs open, with just a click I can save my tabs for later use. Not only it saves my time, it also saves my electricity as previously I had to leave my computer on. Thank you Dev Team.

It would be nice to have an option to 'persist' tabs so that you can save them once and restore them many times. I currently have remember to save the tabs each time, which is quite annoying.

So far I am liking this extension very much, thank you. Tabs are a big problem. I just made 82 tabs disappear with your extension. Hopefully I'll get back to those 82 tabs later... But at least I can work better now.

Very simple but effective tool! I am very relieved that this extension exists, as it was something I thought was really nice about Microsoft Edge. I prefer Chrome, so I am happy that I can use that feature. Now I don't have to waste space with a bunch of pinned tabs or sticky notes. :) Clean, simple, easy to use, and intuitive. It looks nice and does what it is supposed to! Thanks. :)

Absolutely great extension and really useful. I come here from the new version of Edge that they stripped this feature off. One minor fuss: it also saves the New Tabs which are rather not useful to keep but nonetheless it is still a five-star extension.
