This is a great extension! Today I noticed that it is not loading the checklist steps on the board view. The next steps button just showsa loading circle. Any advice?

I really enjoy this feature but I noticed today that it only showed one task on the checklist when I know it certainly had more.

I really love it! But every time I close and open Chrome I have to choose "Mode: All steps", and it's a little bit annoying :(

I would be lost without this. NO, REALLY... my work-flow would system is entirely built upon how this extension empowers my processes. Trello is good. Trello with "Next Steps" is spectacular. ... It essentially turns my cards & lists into dashboards views. I can see work coming and going at all levels of horizon- from objectives to projects, and from tasks to sub-tasks- all at a glance!! MIND BLOWING CLARITY!!

The extension only shows the first item in a checklist. Using Chrome Version 79.0.3945.130

I really want to use this extension for Chrome... BUT in Win 10 Chrome it makes my opened card nearly BLANK... no Description... no Activity. Those fields are totally blank. If I turn off the extension... they appear again. That makes it not usable for me... really for anyone. SO... why am I the only one referencing this problem? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Simple and effective solution to manage checklists directly on the cards. This is a productivity enhancement as you don´t need to go into each card to see the next step. In fact, it is better because you see all the "next steps" in all cards so you can choose what to do next in a sight.

Hi Adrian, Immensely powerful extension, love it. Thanks! I wonder if its possible to have Completed checklist items displayed on the list, along with their strikethroughs. For those having trouble keeping to a schedule keeping accomplished items visible can be highly motivational, gives a huge psychological 'high'. Its possible to see the completed items after clicking on the card, I'd love to see it on the card front with the option to turn it off at an individual card level. Another suggestion - it would be great to provide user the ability to select and display on card, checklists at an individual card level, as opposed to turning on or off the feature at a global level. Don't know if that is easy to code. Thanks again.

Hugely improves the usability of my Trello boards. Trello needs to add this as a powerup so that this function is available in the Trello desktop app for Windows 10. Literally the only reason I don't use the desktop app is because it doesn't have this functionality.

Simple and extremely useful; Trello should come with this by default. I was wondering if there could be a feature added to prevent particular lists from appearing on the card's front. I ask because sometimes one checklist will be too long and blow out the Trello board. Perhaps the user could add "[hide]" at the end of the checklist name for example, making it never appear on the card front even if the board setting says otherwise. Similarly, "Checklist [show]" could make a checklist always appear on the card front... if that's worth anything. Currently I use the "First Checklist" mode, and then create a fake first checklist as a workaround.

Fantastical. This makes the checkbox option worth using (it was worthless as you each time need to click all cards with a checkbox...). THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! WHY NOT FOR SAFARI... (chrome is a battery drain) Slight remark: I would though love to have the option to view everything (also the completed items). Should be very easy to realise.

Great functionality, but needs to save my default setting. Frequently resets and I have to select it again.

Installed it and love it! I recommend this to everyone who uses checklists extensivelly. You really need to give it a try.

Fantastic extension. I am rating only 4 stars only because sometimes the checklist is finicky and clicks into the cards instead of completing the task, this may be a bug. If that gets fixed, this is an easy five star app. Thanks you for making this tool!

if a card has no checlists and i click the task as completed, why does task percentage not goto 100%

I love it! One small suggestion: I only use max one checklist per card, so I do not need its name repeated for each item. Would it be possible to have the option to hide it and have only the item text ? Or maybe move it as a checklist title (which could then be clicked to collapse its items ?) EDIT: the 'first checklist' option is doing exactly what I was looking for. Thanks for the feedback Adrien, and also for this great extension!

Powerful yet simple - a great feature

Great addon. Would it be possible to all items from an individual checklist? E.g. I have a card with 2 checklists and acceptance criteria. While I'm working on the card, I only really want to see the tasks checklist but when I'm doing a review, I only want to see the acceptance criteria.

This extension is a great addition to Trello. The only thing I wish you could do was change the default display option - I have to change to my preferred "show all tasks" view every time I start up Trello.

Great extension! One feature that I think would be helpful is an option to set a default Mode. It default to Mode: One per card, but I always switch it to Mode: All steps each morning. Thanks for your consideration!

Great extension, very well-executed. Issue: I use a lot of Trello card links in checklists. In Trello, these get rendered with an icon and the title of the card, so it looks very nice. In your extension it just shows the URL, which forces me to open the card (and also takes up extra space). Suggestion: It would be great if your extension could use the card title based on the URL the same way Trello does in the native view.

Update 01/12 - Flashing removed, /win! Original: The extension is solid and very useful but that flashing icon has to go. I get you want to draw attention to the options list, but do it once please and have it stop flashing after it has been selected once (or find another way to draw attention).

Excellent work! I have a few suggestions: ------- BUG ------- • Whenever you choose a mode, it doesn't save/ stay persistent after refreshing the page. I think it should stay persistent for every board, or make it optional ------------------------------ FEATURE REQUESTS ------------------------------ • Some checklists can get very lengthy... I think it would be a good idea to give the option to set an ellipsis (...) for sentences that exceed a certain number of lines • If you have a lot of checklists the card becomes to long blocking you from seeing badges/ important statuses. A fix would be to give the checklists* (not the card) a max-height and allowing the checklist to scroll within the card (overflow-y: auto). ------------------------------------------------------------------ Is this opensource? I'd love to help contribute

Nice extension. Thanks for removing the flashing. Some ideas: I'd like to select the list that shows and select the number of items that show from the list. Thanks for sharing your talent.

Great but I can't use because it crashes Toggl extension.

A really nice tool, but the blinking icon is an unnecessary distraction.

Entirely awesome way of helping you to focus on your next step for each task - apart from the flashing icon, which makes it harder to focus on *anything*. Remove the icon or provide a setting to disable it - give us *any* way out, and I will immediately upgrade my rating to 5* :)

The extension itself is great, but I'm going to have to uninstall it because I find the flashing icon so distracting as to negate the benefits of the actual functionality - it would get five stars otherwise. I'll come back and have another go when that's fixed.

Very cool idea, I'm going to be much more likely to use checklists now because they aren't out of sight/out of mind. Plus I love the ability to toggle between seeing just one per card or seeing them all. Well done extension! And as a coach for people trying to build habits, I love your clever commitment device of putting up a live feed of you coding on Wednesdays. It's a good way to force you into the habit you want to have and also show your users you are committed to keeping the project active. Glad I stumbled on this at Product Hunt! Thanks

Mind blown! Great extension, I really wanted something like this, had a discussion with friends about it. Nowadays I find myself recommending them NextStep. I wish I could choose a default to be hidden?
