I can't rely on the Project tab manager because it frequently FORGETS my tabs. I then have to rebuild all my tabs when I return the next day to the Project tab manager. More often than not, all the tabs are gone the next day! And no: I am not closing tabs. The tab manager is simply forgetting, as though it's hearkening back to the first time I ever used it, loading three old tabs I don't even use anymore for that particular project grouping. Frustrating.

I love it. Wish this was the browsers' default behavior.

Very useful! Could you add a way to close a window without retaining an anonymous (i.e. named by date) project? That would avoid the tedium of either having to close all the tabs before closing the window, or having the delete the project I didn't really want.

The idea of an active project/session manager is great. However, Project Tab Manager messes up pretty bad: - Tabs keep disappearing from the saved sessions. - Some sessions can't be removed. - Some sessions are duplicated for no apparent reason. - Some sessions are recreated without a title. - Etc... Try Simple Window Saver instead.

I Love what this is supposed to do, but it seems like it's broken. Doesn't save the folders like it should. Every time the browser restarts there is lost data.

Doesn't really work. Opening a new window overwrote the first "project," and I couldn't find any other way to create new projects.

This looks like it could be very useful for me but please add (an option at least) International Date Format: YYYY-MM-DD Thanks! Phil.

I had 2 windows, it showed both. Made one more window by dragging a tab, and plugin still shows only 2, one disappeared from the list ((

This add-in has lost tabs on at least 3 occasions in the 2 weeks I've used it. This completely defeats the purpose of the tool and makes me less, not more, productive!

Do you like saving your bookmark and then having them disappear? Than use this extension. I had it for about 2 years and it's finally the last straw. It is unreliable and saves somethings and doesn't save other. The dates can be off and just a bucket of NO

No longer works. Doesn't recognize my open tabs to create groups. Old tabs groups were removed after an update.

It looks terribly uncomplete. Couldn't start it using, moved to other plugins right after 5 minutes.

Usefull app but only as usefull as many other. The feature i am looking for is the ap should ask for the window name when ever a new window is created. And store all the tabs and timeline of tabs opened and closed. Why doesnt chrome web store have an interaction review - tread facility?

Whiles't not as powerful as some of the other Tab Managers, does what it does well and cleanly. This is exactly what I was looking for. Looking through the reviews and looks like the dev for this reads and addresses almost every post, that's admirable.

Waste of time to figure out how to save a group of tabs. It should be easy to install and start using. How do you save your tabs into a date/time group...? Isn't that the number one functionality that should be easy to use? Fail.

Most recent versions are terribly buggy, create a huge mess of folders in the bookmarks area, and constantly lose bookmarks. Before 3.0 this was a great extension, but it's since become a mess.

This is one of my favorite extensions... until version 3, which creates a cluttered mess of folders I have to keep going in and deleting. Before, I had a handful of projects I flipped between and could quickly open and close the last state of. It was awesome. Having all windows saved as projects has made me stop using it. Please make that optional. Thanks!

One of my favorite extensions. I love not having to keep multiple windows open for different projects. The new feature (all windows as projects) is a bit annoying. I hope there will be an option in settings to turn it off (or maybe make only windows with 2+ tabs a project). I usually create to do a quick google search and I have to clean my projects up periodically. As I was deleting the 'junk' projects, I accidentally deleted an important project. Not cool :/ Still, I've tried several tab manager extensions but this is the only one that has worked for me. Keep up the good work. Edit: Fortunately, i found that the deleted project was available in the __Archive__ folder under bookmarks manager.

practically useless. but really. all it does is placing a new button by which the only thing you can do is creating one single new folder for your bookmarks than you cn add page bookmarks under this folder.... nothing else. same as the chrome built in function but this one is limited in functions. donno what is this.... i suggest to try Sidewise for everyone.... that recivers, restores, and so on...or Too Many Tabs

I have been using this extension for 3 minutes and I'm already in love with it. It's a simple way of adding and organizing bookmarks!

I really like the implementation. However, it is difficult to add new tabs to a project. Having to add a new bookmark in the right folder is annoying to say the least...

WOW! Named window management for chrome. Just what I was looking for. I hope that tabs within a project can be structured in a tree/outline for upcoming versions.

This is the best app I've seen so far, it does what other apps trying to do this fail at! For those who love tabs and want to be organized it is a life saver, time saver and simply amazing!!! Keep up the good work!!

This works great. It keeps everything from loading at once and lagging my computer, it saves tabs in an extremely organized way. For the last few years I've gotten into the habit of keeping around 30+ tabs open at any given time.I'm never using chrome at home with out this extension again.

Best implementation I have seen, but I wish it would save the history of the tabs themselves.

Brad Rad April 8th, 2013

I love the way this works in theory, but there seems to be a bug. "Save as new project" always saves the tabs from the same window, which is not necessarily the window you have active. It shows the correct tabs that you're about to save, but when you click save it pulls in the tabs from a different window.

Been using it just shortly, but I really like it. One thing that I would recommend is adding a option (button) that would enable you to add all the newly opened tabs to the existing project instead of clicking on each single one. It could be in the project header next to the trash button.

Don't know why other extensions miss this simplicity; just use page titles with links (aka bookmarks) like Project Tab Manager. I have been looking for something like this on Chrome which is like Snaporama for Firefox. Project Tab Manager saves tabs into a folder in bookmarks. Then you get all the native bookmark benefits: sync if you use that, open all links in new window, etc. Love the colorless icon. Thanks for a really great extension and "getting it".

Very nice extension and a great twist on the bookmarks. It really makes it possible to manage multiple-tab projects.

Really like it. Very useful app. Would get 5 stars if it could remember which tabs were "pinned" during restore.
