Simple, effective tool -- works perfect for my use-case! Needed something EASY / FREE to use and this more than fit the bill! Kudos to the developer!
You cannot resized it to tablet and mobile screen views.
Doesn't resize
Doesn't actually resize anymore. (Yes, I restored the window first.)
Ok, but not perfect. A manual added resolution does not get triggered by the "View all selected"-button
not working
2 seconds or more to open the extension window
got 1280x710 instead of 1280x800 :(
Good plugin.. can help me a lot .
Added advertising, and waiting for the ads to load has slowed it down. There are better extentions that don't have ads.
Too slow!
Doesn't really work. It does resize the window, but not to the size specified. Choosing "1280 x 720" for instance results in a window with outer dimensions of 1272x716 and a viewport of 1268x609. Makes no sense whatsoever. Completely useless as-is.
Works Fine. Thanks.
Great!
Love this extension; however, it doesn't seem to work in a VM. I'm using Windows Server 2012 R2 inside a Windows 8.1 VM right now with Chrome and the Resolution Test extension installed, and the resolution only changes occasionally, so there's definitely a bug there somewhere.
It's great, but there needs to be a way to hide the toolbar. This extension is useless to me otherwise...
A very easy-to-use and useful app. -When viewing multiple resolutions is there anyway to have it open tabs instead of windows? -Is it possible to label the tabs/windows so it's easier to determine which resolution you are viewing?
Great for testing responsive sites. Especially like being able to add my own sized to test Bootstrap break points.
Didn't like it. If you have many tabs opened, you can't test resolution under 800px. This is just a chrome windows resizer, you can do it manually too.
Useful app but there seems to be a bug, everytime I'm closing Chrome I am losing this particular extension. So have to reinstall it again everytime!! Wonder if it has to do with my version of Windows 8 or Chrome?
Perfect.
Excellent Plugin..! Must have for the web designer and web developer. - Kinsh Technologies
Great Tool! Would be amazing to have aliases/labels instead of the resolution (ie. iPhone5-Portrait for 640x1136, iPhone5-Landscape for 1136x640, etc.) Keep the good work! :)
nice ext.
loved it.. nice efforts
Used to work great. Recently it started not working half the time. When it doesn't work, I would have to manually change my browser size, full-screen, un-full-screen, etc. until it started working again. Eventually got fed up and installed another addon "Window Resizer" which is working fine.
Generally a good app. There is a bug however - if you have a resolution where the width is smaller than the height - like in a portrait view - and you open this resolution in a new browser window, the dimensions will be switched. Example - you try to open 768 x 1024 - the windows that is opened will be 1024 x 768.
easy to use, very powerful
Not good
Great tool. Great responsiveness! Thank you!
Works great, but it would be even better if one could label each of the resolutions (like Window Resizer)
Nice app.,...
Nice app. However, it does remove the cursor pointer in (my) Chrome (on both my computers). Spent ages trying to figure out why, when I had cursor:pointer in my CSS that it wasn't coming up.
Absolutely a must have for me ^_^
easy and agile as a first responsive test its ok
I have been using this extension, but lately it stopped working in Chrome 20 on Linux. Please do take a look. Thanks in advance.
Doesn't work in linux (opensuse 12.1 x64). Works great in Win7, though.
loved it! thank you
Love it. Helps a lot for developing the site.
Great tool for web dev!
Awesome, Really helpful while creating responsive websites.
i see no changes when select 800x600 and view selected, its the same res
Exceptionally useful! Thank you :0
As much as I want to like this extension, the 1024x768 setting doesn't seem to work properly. It renders too slim and far too wide. Every other option works perfectly. Alas!
When I click on the extension icon, there's a half second lag before the extension popup appears.
it works!
Awesome extension! Two things I would love to see: - What size the browser is currently (before resizing it) - An input to enter a custom size on the fly Great work!
