This is a fantastic plug-in that easily captured the data I needed, even though the source site had done a number of things to make it difficult. When I needed help with an issue related to how the data provider worked, George went above and beyond to help me. If I could give six stars, I would!

TableCapture works great and is very reliable. Eventually, I paid for the Pro account as the additional features are really time savers (e.g., the auto-paging feature). Mike, who develops the plugin, is also very responsive. I was having trouble scraping a particular web page with very "convoluted" HTML code, and he was very helpful in getting TableCapture to work properly. Thanks again for this!

Been using this for 14 day trail and paid for the Pro upgrade. Developer responded immediately to any questions. This thing works amazing allowing me to easily convert tables into CSV/Excel files. Works great for legacy systems that do not have export to excel functions. Or some systems that exports in weird ways! Totally worth the price of admission!

One of the most underrated Extension. With this extension I am able to capture table data from websites hassle-free but the thing i loved the most is that the Dev of this Extension is a good man. Thank You, Mike for making a tool that will help people across the globe just like me to become more productive. Export to Sheets is amazing feature, awesome job!

A truly wonderfully designed extension that has become a can't-live-without tool for me. It's very easy to use, with a lot of thoughtful features that allow you to customise its use to your needs. Works beautifully to extract pretty much every html table I've tried it on. I also like that it works on div tables too, and how you can direct it to find a selected element's parent so it can find which divs make up the table. One of the most useful features is being able to delete columns and rows. The tables I save often have empty or irrelevant columns, so this helps enormously in being able to extract just the table data I need. The export options (Markdown, CSV) yield excellent results, but I also like the simple copy to clipboard feature. I use this in conjunction with the Elastic Tabstops plugin in Notepad++ when I need to save simple text tables that line up correctly. The only feature that needs work is the PDF table extraction, which didn't give me great results. However, I've found I can combine using Table Capture and Tabula to extract tables from PDFs and export them to the formats I need. Great support - fast and very helpful responses from the developer. A gem of an extension that more people should know about!

Great extension. It has an intuitive, seamless interface that I had no trouble using even though it was my first time. Its "dynamic" function allowed me to capture tables that were laid out across different pages. There's great customer service. Great product.

Slightly clunky and won't copy full html (for example, table cells that contain urls will come out as plain text) however, considering the remaining Table add-ons on Chrome web store are completely non-functional, this will have to suffice. Thank you for making this, I guess...

Great tool and amazing support by the developer. Table Capture on a scrolling Google Contacts table worked nicely!

First off, this is not a data scraper. It cannot drill deeper into element links but that’s not what I wanted it for. If you can display data in a table on a webpage then it can easily download in a variety of ways; including Excel, Google Sheets, 365 and clipboard, etc. There is also an option to publish and share data. Not sure how this works though. You can even edit the data before downloading Once installed as an extension its extremely easy to use and when invoked will select the table for you. If you have a single page of data just click on the Table Capture extension. It has an option to select various tables if you have more than one displayed. Then select your download format. Personally I prefer the “workshop” method as many of my searches involve multiple pages To be honest I don’t understand the difference between Paged Tables and Dynamic. Paged Tables seems to work best for me. With the data table in front of you, right click and select Table Capture Launch Workshop. Table Capture will appear at the bottom of your screen. Your table will be highlighted. Select Paged Tables button and underneath this select Toggle Auto-Paging Go to the webpage and click on whatever takes you to the next page. Sit back and wait! It has a built-in delay in case the website is slow in reloading (nice touch). On the right hand side of the workshop it will show you your ongoing capture. I would like an option to share say via Pocket and a way of selecting the pages to download. it’s a brilliant bit of software and extremely reasonably priced. I’ve used a few Chrome Extensions before I got to Table Capture and nothing else comes near to my requirements

This extension is fantastic, been using for a few years and recently upgraded to the PRO version. George the developer provided some excellent support on a query i had and even jumped on a zoom call to help understand my query and guide me... not only did he fix the problem, i learnt about features i didnt know were possible!

Fantastic extension that does everything it says. I have to get data from a table that's formatted in a very weird way and the extension was able to get it all. If you need support with the extension, George is very responsive and helpful as well!

Simply genius!

Just WOW! I had an issue getting a list from a Sharepoint documents site and thought I'd try the customer support chat option. George Mike, (the actual developer!) replied in 30 seconds. We got on a zoom call, he tried a few things, got it to work, and then got it to automatically load multiple pages of a table into one table and then taught me how to do it in two different ways (using the "dynamic table" and "Paged Table" options. Wow, just absolutely amazing help and the Add-in is remarkably better than I expected! Thank you SO much Mike! (BTW, the way to work with sharepoint document lists is to switch back to the 'Classic Sharepoint' web page and then click the auto table "Workshop" button to activate the "Paged Table" and auto populate option)

This is one of the best google extension tool i have ever seen for capturing tables and column, i was able to extract more than 30,000+ information in different rows and column in a period of 4 hours. the tool is very fast and even capture links embeded. i think you should go for it.

This is an extremely useful plugin for capturing tabular data and the developer is very helpful. I ran into an issue capturing data from a table in a sitemap page generated from a .xml file, and within a short amount of time he had a solution. (For anyone with the same issue, .xml files are excluded by the extension, and despite being an HTML page, the page URL ended in '.xml' so it wouldn't even try to detect the table. I chatted with the developer on Discord and he said to add a parameter to the URL — for example, '?d' — and that did the trick!) I haven't needed it often enough to buy the Pro version yet but will keep it in mind. It's definitely the tool I turn to whenever I need to grab info from a table.

Previously I did face problem loading YouTube comment .. But after uninstall it 2 times and then reinstall it .. it works like before with no issue at all

This is a cool helpful tool for the money. The owner is super helpful also. I needed a simple cheap tool to extract tables for a project and this was just a great option.

Saved hours of non-productive time

I have been using this extension for many years, and its beneficial, well-managed, and perfect features. On top of that, George is a great person. He has also helped me better use this extension for my research. Highly recommended.

Incredible product that does exactly what it says it will do. I had a 600+ row table of data I wanted to analyze that was on multiple pages and the thought of fiddling around with it to try to capture the information was not pleasant. I wondered if there were something that could help me and happened onto George's product. It worked perfectly and the pleasant surprise was that George's support was even better. I heartily recommend this product to anyone trying to use internet data that is uncooperative. Great product and even greater support!

Holy crummo. I was able to replace paying a data entry guy $300 a month with this AMAZING extension. I had particular data I needed from a particular website and must have tried out 10 or 15 different scraping tools. This one, TableCapture, is the BEST of the bunch. I'm 4 real saying this one of the best extensions I've ever used, so very handy.

Made it happy when Copytables couldn't figure out the div soup! Save me a ton of time writting a script to get some info out of a table!. Really slick!

This dude is a genius

This is a fantastic extension. Works exactly as advertised. If you have any need to manually scrape data off webpages into a spreadsheet or CSV, this will save you a lot of time and effort. The annual $12 price tag is well worth it even if you use it just a few times in a year - think about the number of hours (and consternation) this is going to save you and apply even minimum wage to that. This is exemplifies the starry eyed promise of software - productivity enhancement!

This extension is a productivity hack for copying Div tables to spreadsheet. It literally saved me hours of manual work. George was also kind enough to show me advanced Javascript recipe feature for more hacks.

I deeply wish I had this service/app/code/extension (whatever the name) a long time ago. Holy s*^$ it would have saved me soooooooooooo much time over the years. Good god. Thank you.

Used the free version for years (I can't remember how long... but it's been part of my productivity tools for a very very long time) and have always been very happy with it. Now i subscribed to the pro version just to have a few more features (especially multi-pages when I'm in a hurry and don't want to work through all pages manually) and support the developer.

This extension has been so helpfully, I can't be grateful enough to the creator. Normally, I try to scrap data from R or Power BI, but some tables are just so difficulty to get through hard code. Terrific !

It just copy pastes the values of the table, the user must replicate the formatting manually. The same use can be achieved by copy paste from the user

I've been using Table Capture for over 3 years now and it's an ESSENTIAL part of my work day! I'm not sure what I would have done without it. For those scaping data, you can easily automate using UI.Vision (was Kantu) and let it click the Table Capture to download tables for you automatically. Can't thank George Mike enough for this extension!!!

I've been working with long data sheets from a website for all of last year. I had to basically restructure, modify and adapt different parts of the data after pasting it to Excel to make it usable again. After an unexpected change in that whole website, the information became copy-protected, rightclick-protected and awfully cumbersome to work with. Table Capture came to me in an unexpected way but honestly I couldn't be happier with it. Its just copy and paste, that's it. Also from day 1, George reached out to me to offer his support and that talks highly of what he does and how much he loves it doing it. I really appreciate your work and help George! God bless.

This extension made my day. It did exactly as it promised, cost next to nothing and George Mike answered a support question I posed without delay.

I've been using Table Capture Pro for several years and can't live without it. More to the point, I can't work without it. It is the best way to work with tables in browser regardless of web app, as far as I've seen. Easy and reliable to use, it saves time and eliminates errors. --> But wait, there's more! George provides incredible support in the very rare case this is needed. Everybody working with data on the web should have this!

Was disappointed that CSV and Excel features don't work in unpaid version. They are pro features. Copy/Paste cleaning functions work fine. Update: Author is very responsive and is working on updating missing information in summary.

I couldn't copy and paste some tabulated data from a web page. A quick Google Search and less than a minute later I had the data usefully formatted in a spreadsheet thanks to this great extension. It didn't recognise the tabulated data so invoked the Table Capture Workshop and swiftly got it to recognise the formatting and extract the data accordingly. I love tools that just work, and this appears to be one of them.

This is the perfect tool for working with Tables in online applications. I had to extract data and couldn't quite get it to work. George asked me if he could help - and within 8 minutes I had an application which will save me hours of cumbersome data input!!! Best extension ever. George, THANK you so much!! Will recommend the PRO version to everybody working with data extraction!

Very useful but currently this extension is causing an "Out Of Memory" error for me on certain pages. Bummer.

This extension is incredible. Grabs the tables clean and puts them in the format you want. Also, I had an issue with a difficult website, emailed support and they walked me through it. Awesome product

Fantastic program! I use it at least every week. Totally worth the subscription fee. Try it you will love it. It just works so well and is super easy to use. Also George is a super nice guy and he goes out of his way to support his customers. I only wish I has the skills to write something like this myself.

Best tool for tables. It goes far beyond <table> parsing and has powerful features that makes work with tables like a breeze.

It looks very powerful, unfortunately it didn't solve the issue I had (not it's fault). This tool is for whole tables rather than individual columns or rows.

Table Capture is a great tool. It's easily my most utilized Chrome extension. I find it invaluable for extracting information from webpages quickly and easily. I gladly paid to upgrade to Table Capture Pro just to express my appreciation and to support its further development.

This little app is really awesome! The amount of hours I'm saving is crazy! I've also never seen support so fast and helpful. It makes this app better than any other because of that. I'm so glad I discovered this!

Superbly made and very useful

I have used this extension periodically for years. Every time I use it, it saves hours of repetitive work. Sometimes I have to make a few attempts to find the sweet spot for it to find the table in html, but it's always worth a few extra tries at various spots on the page when I don't hit it right off. Great time-saver.

Expected this to work like Table2clipboard firefox..epic FAIL: I highlighted table data and used several different capture buttons..on a table that table2clipboard handled with with no problem, the result, when pasted into an excel file was a jumble of text..not columns & rows as Table2clipboard had done. This is not only ineffective but complicated. I will happily revise my review if shown a simple way to use this to highlight an html table, capture it with this extension and past it to an excel page.

This is a must have extension if you are dealing with tables, extracting info from website into excel. And worth buying as well for just 8$ per year !!!

Anticipating many hours of copying and pasting one image URL at a time for my Shopify store with 800 plus images and additional data, I was really in need of a quicker solution. I discovered the Table Capture Chrome extension. It worked exactly as I had hoped (quick, easy, and accurate). What made it even better is the help I got from chat person (George), including a shared screen zoom meeting to walk me through the process. Who does that? I was impressed.

The developer is fantastic. I had an issue and he responded immediately (at 11pm!) and offered to do a zoom call, and he showed me what I was doing wrong. It's an extremely polished extension - really impressed!

I was able to use this to copy a large, unwieldy Confluence table into Excel. Saved me easily an hour worth of painstaking error-prone copy/paste. Highly recommend.

Seems to work basically, but with some limitations. When trying to capture confluence tables: - Does not preserve merged cells. - If a cell contains a list of items, it converts the list into one long string - Does not preserve styles, colors etc.

Like everyone else, this extension saved me hours/days of work! Low cost upgrade pays for itself on first use - what more could you want? Thanks for the quick helpful support too.

I've been using Table Capture free for ages and just upgraded to Pro, which is CRAZY powerful and would be cheap at three times the price. (It cost a lot less than I expected.) Table Capture just delivered a 289-page table from the web to my Excel perfectly with just a few clicks, and in just a few minutes. The pro version includes a lot of useful options for what to include in the capture, plus some interesting-looking recipe and template options. Highly recommended, and the most effective extension of its type so far.

This tool is a total magic!! Does what I was long looking for and guess what it's absolutely free -- Saved lots of bucks on scraper dependencies. Looking forward to seeing the tool evolve into more of an automated scraper. Kudos George, Keep up!! and thanks for connecting with me to fix some minor issues I faced in the initial setup.

I was expecting more from this extension, it requires too much manjob to get it done right, it doesn't get images and format on the majority of the tables I tested, and make it look that all it does is copy the table to the clipboard, something that can be done without it

The app is nice. I ran into an issue though. It has a great feature that lets you scroll through pagination and keep capturing table data. But when it takes too long to load the next page, the plugin can't capture the next page, leaving me to copy the table one page at a time. But when the table loads quickly it works beautifully!

This extension is a life saver for me!! I use this tool to screenshot or copy the screenshot of the table to clipboard, which I haven't found in any other extension. I've been using it for quite sometime now. It is very easy to use and does exactly what I looked for. Also, the tech support by George has been quick and pleasant! I was having trouble scraping a website. Everytime you copy and paste the address you would be directed to an agreement page and the another captcha page so I could not use an extension that could only access the site by pasting. If I navigated to the page that I needed scraped, this extension worked perfectly and gave my the whole table !! Thanks!

Once I figured out the difference between Paged Tables and Dynamic tables, it was a breeze! Super easy to pull data out of tables.

George is THE MAN! I had wanted to do a very specific task with this tool and while it couldn't do it initially, George got in touch pretty much right away and actually helped me figure out a way to make it work for my purpose! I can't recommend this extension enough!

This extension works seamlessly with my day-to-day cloud based ERP program, allowing me to extract datasets from pages that do not have an 'export' function. It has literally saved my 9-5 life!

Seems potentially a useful tool, but for the pages I needed to use it on nothing happens when selecting 'Launch workshop' from the context menu, with an error message in the extension console: ">> background.sendSelectionWorkshopRequest: Error caught |> Could not establish connection. Receiving end does not exist."

I'm updating my review because I didn't realize you might have to refresh the page before using the extension. This is amazing...the Paged Table feature saves me so much time because I used to have to manually highlight + copy 50 results on each of the 30 pages of Amazon Seller's transaction data pages and then copy them into Excel. Also, the clean design makes it super easy to use.

Tried several times but unable to open the table in google sheets. It is just launching the sheet but not loading the data.
