Used to work not too badly, doesn't now. Now it is just useless pop-up which I must get rid of.

Worked well for a long time, but they changed something and mobile texts no longer pop up in a Windows 11 Lenovo Flex 5 notebook using Chrome. I also don't get the text as an email any more.

This was exactly what I was looking for.

Good and bad. I like to keep my comments to myself.

It's nice but gets in the way of the facebook button and cant be moved or removed even when the addon is disabled!

Now we have upgraded to Pro, it is great.

This disables auto populating of email address in gmail.

it is great WHEN it works. I kept having to reinstall it when using free version....so I sucked it up and paid for the year. No improvement. Still have to constantly reinstall or relink. So i wasted $ and will now use Microsoft's "your phone" version

An amazingly good app. It connects my laptop to my phone in a seamless, easy way. Thanks for making sending texts so much easier.

Totally useless. Just use your phone for SMS.

Excellent product. I was running something else on a Windows 7 computer and it was terrible in that it didn't connect all the time and just stood there refreshing. Fortunately that extension didn't convert over to Windows 10 so I went searching for another SMS product and was glad to find MightyText for Gmail. Much easier to r5ead and compose messages from that app then from a cell phone. Thanks again.

Great little app & handy to get someone connected to folks very easily.

I've used it for a few years and lately my messages look like they're going through on my end but are not being received. This is VERY damaging to my career.

Great app so you don't have to keep looking at your phone all the time!

Would be nice if I could use this and gmail at the same time but since there is a disc advertising Mightytext right in top of the box that allows me to archive or mark for deletion. I cant drag it anywhere so I am more than disappointed

I've been using Mighty Text for a while now and, excluding issues I had in the beginning, it has become my favorite app for SMS texting on Windows. My previous app to send SMS texts was Verizon's Messenger+ which was fraught with one problem after another and was never able to be used reliably. MightyText has been stable, and after I Iearned a bit of how it worked with my phone and interacted with my Gmail I found it to be irreplaceable. I've exchanged email with the authors and they have shown they are conscientious about making this app reliable and full featured. All of the few issues I have had were solved by an email exchange. If you find you're having issues getting the app to work for you try sending them an email and give them a chance to help you out. If they don't come through then you have a reason to provide bad ratings.

Hi, The Mighty Text message window in Facebook is transparent when using a Stylus Facebook Theme (I use 'Dusky Grey').  This makes using the function in FB difficult.

I really love the service that it provides & have used it a lot to communicate with groups of people to plan events. However, a couple of issues with free version: Even if I don't use the app to send messages, it seems to count all text messages I send, so I use my 75 messages up pretty quickly. I don't like that it pops up every message on my screen. I don't like that if I'm not signed into it on the computer it pops up a reminder multiple times an hour saying I need to sign in. Let me choose! If it was a flat rate one time fee, I'd totally pay for premium, but only use it heavily on certain months, so not willing to pay the monthly subscription.

When it works, it's spectacular. However, it works sporadically though I've been able to use perfectly very recently until I shut off my phone and apparently some setting failed and now I'm back to square one when my Android and laptop aren't speaking except for 30 seconds until they disconnect again. Been working on this issue since I started a year ago. That should tell you how much I like the app. Patients of a saint:-)

This was nice while it was free, but there are many other options that allow unlimited sms without paying for a premium subscription. Thanks, but so long!

Works flawlessly. Love having text messages in Gmail.

It works okay but not with gmail. Even though the COMPOSE SMS button is there, it does not work. Since clicking on COMPOSE sms did not work, I clicked on the Settings Icon. In the dropdown menu, it showed a list of several things -settings, launch mightytext, help, rate us, sign out. Only "rate us" works. In all other cases, the screen just becomes black and nothing happens.Not a perfect product. Hence unable to share about this App with friends.

great little app, send and receive text from your pc, take pictures on your phone and they appear on your PC instantly and you can them forward them

As soon as this review is complete it is going to be removed. The very reason I don't have FB messenger is that it sends me notifications, loudly and intrusively, every few seconds. Within seconds of adding this extension to Chrome it has sent me the same notification - you have 73 new Facebook notifications - every 20 seconds or so despite my repeatedly closing them. I WILL GET TO MY NOTIFICAITONS WHEN I AM READY! Not everybody lives for FAcebook! Saying that the standard Mighty Text app is great, I use it all the time, this one though, in a few minutes, will be toast!

It doesn't really work. Clicking the blue "Compose SMS Message" button from the gmail sidebar doesn't open a message window. Seems like that was supposed to be the core functionality here, and all I'm able to do with this is have it redirect me to the web app in another tab.

I bought the pro version and find it very helpful. I hate typing texts on the phone and I like the integration of all the features among my phone, tablet, and laptop Good job.

Imho, this is a very promising extension; that could be around for a long time. I can't write code, but I can use & learn it, to help write documentation/help guide. Reach out, if you need help.

The developer has constantly cut the amount of free texts you can have per month frequently over the last few years, the pro version is prohibitively expensive for what it does, most of which isn't useful for me at least. Either have a number of options or bring down the price especially as androids own messenger app now has a web component.

WHEN YOU SET LIMIT TO 150 PER MONTH SHOW ME YOU ARE MONEY HUNGRY WITH THE HI-PRICE FOR THE PRO FOR THOSE ON RETIREMENT SOCIAL SECURITY LEAVE ME TO DELETE THE APP OFF MY PHONE AND CDMPUTER FOR GOOD. i SAID IF THE LIMIT GOEES INTO EFFECT I WOULD DELETE THAT WILL HAPPEN TODAY AND FOR GOOD!!!!!!!

The integration with Gmail on Chrome is a great convenience. It's been working well with Textra on my Android phone.

Having this app on my computer is very helpful. It works most of the time....however, every now and then it doesn't sync with my phone. Overall, tho, a useful app! Thanks!

Non-functional for SMS -- does not send out messages with multiple addressees -- period.

So far it's working great. I still use MYSms but may change it if it keeps on performing well.

Nice to be able to receive and respond to my tests from the computer. I've been using it for 4 months and no complaints. Communicating with tech support about why many messages don't make it to computer. I want those messages on the computer so I can go back and check info, quote something, keep track of info shared. I'm a paying person so I hope they can get this resolved.

I pay for it, and recently using the Chrome extension that embeds it in Gmail, people are not getting about 33% of my text messages. During a longer conversation with large single messages, they'll get every other message. This was never a problem until recently. It's unreliable. I'm going to switch back to the Windows app, and then ditch it completely when Google's messaging app includes messaging from a computer because I know that will work more reliably.

I don't need this - don't use it - have tried time and time again to delete it and it won't go away - I detest Mighty Text - it keeps taunting me that it isn't operating on my phone - GOOD!! I wish it didn't operate on my computer!!

Amazing app. I love being able to text from Gmail. I don't know how people can tolerate texting from their phones when this app is available.I have also experienced prompt and helpful support.

Hit monthly limit. Tried to disable since I an NOT going to pay for it and it continuously pops up instructing me to login again. Can't find the option to remove from Facebook. HATE this app that I used to enjoy.

I have never had an app that can do so many things and share files, contacts, etc with both ur phone and computer. It's so good! Congratulations guys!

An outstanding little program - I don't need to pick up my phone to see and respond to texts - I leave my phone in the dock when at my desk - also it's nice to respond to and send texts using a real keyboard. I have had no install issues at all - installed in Chrome in a Windows 10 computer. Even shows my battery level in the corner of GMail window.

This app is so handy! I have a had some trouble with install, but I hardly ever read instructions. I may have caused the problem myself. This program works great!

I use it at work for sending messages to our drivers. It is intrusive but I've given in for the time being. I did pay for the upgraded version. I did realize that sometimes if I go to another window and come back to what I may have been typing the cursor disappears. If you click at the beginning of where your message started, it will return, then you just have to arrow down to where you left off.

don't sign up! this stays in your facebook with pop ups and you can't remove it. Unless you have a google phone this app is not for you. Only works with Android.

I love the efficiency of using this function on my gmail. I can text from anywhere and anytime even if I forget my phone.

I really love this service...they do have a few issues which is why I am giving it four stars....When the person recieves the message that I sent...it does not look they way I set it up to look. The words are frequently bunched together with no space and wont go to the next line unless it has no room on the previous.

I have several google accounts, everytime is a pain the mighty text as it wants to add the other account and does not work with the one I sign in. Sometimes it works well, sometimes does not. I rather prefer not to have it in my computer and now I don't know how to erase it.

I can't get it off of my chrome browser. It asks for permission each time I log on. Too intrusive.

The app does well at notifying me on my Gmail of incoming text msgs. The problem is that it won't allow me to answer texts from my PC. That's the whole point of the app. This problem existed a couple of years ago so I notified Mighty Text and then stopped using the app. I had hoped that the issue had been corrected by now but not to be. I've deleted the app again.

Love it great app.

It's pretty good most of the time but sometimes won't find a name in my contact list or has a few other hiccups. But for a free app, it's definitely a good add to my system.

I've been using this for a couple years, and it has done everything I expect it to do, and is one of my favorite productivity apps. I'm surprised by the bad reviews. Someone complained about Popups. Um are you even reviewing the right app? There are no ad popups, and only your text messages pop up in your gmail window (like they are supposed to). Complaints about no support when using the free app? Seriously, get the Pro version if you are technically challenged and need one-on-one support. This is a great app.

i dnot like this app

works as advertised, except I need to be able to have the message window in the lower RH corner automatically close after a specified timeframe so I don't have to do it manually. This, especially when I am working in the app itself, then have to close the windows in gmail when returning to it. Otherwise, very good additional feature!

Its got a bit of a bagging here by a few people but this app has worked perfectly for me, was easy to set up and doesn't miss a beat. It allows me to respond to SMS message on my phone while I'm working on the PC etc. As an older person using my PC to send SMS message is so much easier and my typing is more accurate. Can't fault it so far. I suspect the low star ratings are actually instances of 'user error' :-)

This is working extremely well for me. I was having some hesitations with the stand alone app because my contacts are spread across 3 emails, but the extension fixes all my issues and works brilliant. If I was to make a suggestion, I would ask for a text search box. other than that Thank you.

Love this app. Now I can see text on my computer & in my email while I am working and answer back from within my email. It makes it so much more convenient. It's very user friendly. I will probably pay for pro but I want to use it for about a month first.

This never works. It does not alert me to incoming texts, does not refresh to display existing texts, and constantly loses its connection to my device.

I used to use Pushbullet, but there are so many more bells and whistles in this app..love it. I only wish the Pro version were a LITTLE less expensive.

Constantly won't link with my phone and need to unlink then relink to make work. Awesome idea but just doesn't work often enough.

Its pretty neat, when it works.. I feel like i spend more time debugging than using it. Also have noticed the app on my phone messing up since installing it. Sending the same text over and over. Need some work.. Good idea though!

remarkable email site

When it actually updates in the browser (and desktop application), it's handy and very useful. However, about 30-40% of the time, it doesn't update from my phone/missing messages. I've reinstalled in all locations (including my phone) but this has been an issue on two phones over the last 18 months. Reconsidering my subscription renewal.
