it's very good but there's a huge problem , which is if you exit the tab the countdown still continues and after 30 seconds it opens , so i could like switch to another page till 30s and hop back on to that page, so i think it would be helpful if countdown only happens when you are active in the page.

By far the best website blocker I have come across. Simple, effective, and minimalist. I like the funny messages that you display when attempting to look at a disabled website. Definitely lives up to it's name of being "A quick and easy cure for Endless Scrolling Syndrome."

Thank you, this is a wonderful extension for websites that are essential but can also be time wasters (Discord and Google in my case). It doesn't block it entirely in case you have to use it for work, but it pushes you in the right direction if you are just wasting time.

I love this extension really good for keeping your attention focused on your intention! Please see if you can increase the waiting time exponentially! (30sec to 3mins or 5mins) The developers on this did a great a job in the aspect of ease of use, thank you dev's!

Just incredible

Worked like a charm in the beginning. Now, it doesn't block the site right away, only if I go to a new page and then return to the one I want to block, which defeats the purpose. I can open a blocked website and use it at will.

This is literally the best , no words to explain Trust me , I'm so lazy that I watch youtube all day And waiting for 30 seconds isn't my choice , This helped me overcome my youtube addiction And that iconic line , Loved it Why did you even install this extension ? BTW, Can you plz make the delay screen customizable Would be way much better Thank you Jensen Tung for recommending this extension

Very good, but very basic. Specifically what I would like is the ability for this extension to kick in only at certain times- like when I'm meant to be working. But when it's the weekend I'd rather not have to wait to get my gratification!

Does exactly what it says and that's good enough for me!

Exactly what I needed, would love the option to turn on a counter.

This is exactly what I needed. Question: Is there anything similar that delays the opening of apps on android phones?

Almost perfect! There could be in options a chance to put custom text on screen while your waiting! :)

The best extension on delayed gratification so far. The difference is that this one has a timer which lets you control how long it will take for the website to be blocked again.

Great idea. Would be nice if you could add multiple URLs at once instead of adding one by one.

The idea is brilliant, and execution is tidy. Definitely can be worked on further to have more features but is great as-is.

Love this - it's perfect for dedicated, but easily distracted people (like me). Gives you just enough time to question yourself, & then do the right thing. Thanks for a job well done!

perfect. Other site blockers are easy enough to disable and forget about. This one can be disabled, but the delay is short enough that it's easier to either wait or (even better) take the time to change your mind.

This is what I needed - does the job simply and is effective! Now a few things that would be nice (but not necessary): - Quotes on the delay screen ? - Number of tries to go to these websites. Would be hilarious to see my own attempts to distract myself. And maybe it improves over time by using this extension ? - Some pre-recommended websites like reddit or facebook.

Really liking this... just wish it wasn't always on. I'd love the ability to set a custom schedule for when to enable the blocking (e.g. M-F 8am-12pm & 1-5pm).

Also found this on /r/getdisciplined. A few suggestions: - Make it so you can change the delay time for different websites. - Custom delay times. - Maybe make the delay screen customizable. I love the idea! I just wish I could change a few things :)

every blocker can be circumvented, this is exactly the type of demotivation you really need because it gives you time to think about it and change your habits
