I liked it until they added screenshot limit which now doesn't let me take a single screenshot either. Thanks for the old times, time to find a better alternative.

Doesn't work anymore, 15 screenshots a day? I used this for work and now its worthless.

The tool is great, but you cant use it no more than a few times per hour.

shortcuts like ctrl shift s doesn't work anymore, I have tried on different browersers, doesn't work at all, please fix it

Hijacks ctrl+shift+v in a tool that's meant to work in google sheets, Also didn't work for what I wanted

I would of gave it a 5 star but the only thing that it is missing is being able to change the keyboard shortcut to something else because sometimes it activates other shortcuts and messes up everything. Other than than that it's one of the best OCR's out there.

Works well and without registration like the others, but it overrides a very common key combination: CTRL+SHIFT+V. This is already often used to paste content without the formatting. Please allow to disable this, and allow to change it to something else.

please add support for local files such us PDF ... i doesn"t work with local files

I've tried EVERY OCR extension for Chrome. This is BY FAR the best as far as accuracy goes. I wanted something to quickly scan in my lottery numbers. It gets them perfectly almost every time. A lot of the other extensions mistake "1" for "l" or "6" for "b" but not this one. 99.9% accuracy. I love it.

It does not copy the way the text are in place, It just copy all text then the paste result is in one line. However, it works, just please improve the copy the exact placement of the text.

The recognition is good but it needs to add line breaks at ends of lines...

I think that so far, for what I'm using it for, it's the best tool that is not specifically for reading manga... In some cases, it's better for reading manga than some tools that are advertised to be able to so that... By that I mean, it can recognize Japanese characters better than many other apps I have tried, provided the text is in a standard font... But it does suffer from the same issue many other OCR programs suffer... It fails to read stylized text, or text that is in color (specifically white text with colored stroke) and it can't correctly read vertical text, even if it is in a standard font.... - It can read the characters, but they won't be in the correct order... - It will just read the first character of each line, space, followed by the second character of each line, and so on... - Sometimes, when the text is written vertically, it will repeat characters...

Loved it, it's so easy to use and so fast. Before I had to save a screenshot, google for an OCR site, upload the screenshot, process and copy the text to what I was working on. Now I just take a ss and the text is right there. Awesome tool, highly recommended.

Its the best image to text converting OCR extension I found for Google Chrome. Tried various other extensions. However, none of them scans the images with correct character or few character i.e. special characters such as underscore will miss out. Thanks a lot for such a great application.

Wow. This is a great tool. I mostly liked the feature of taking screenshot and translating the language. An easy getaway for the tedious copy and paste.

I had built my own screenshot capture tool in the past. One caveat was integrating OCR into that system. Now, I have moved on to using Docsumo's OCR tool to easily capture screen and do OCR on them, which is easy to use. Although I'd like to have more features in the future like managing screenshots (like grouping them based on OCR) and such. Nevertheless, it's neat.
