The stupid bar is so big it blocks the view of amazon searches. I have not been able to leave items in my cart as I shop. I have had to keep my cart empty and add products the last min from multiple tabs. It has driven me nuts! Someone was defiantly drinking a bit to much that designed it. I just tried this extension for the first time and so far so good. Amazing actually. "Hide Amazon Cart Sidebar" extension appears to be a definite stress reducer while shopping on Amazon. It's absurd that this is even a thing that needs to exist. Amazon: Your sidebar is a functionality conflict.

This is EXACTLY what I have been looking for! The cart sidebar is ridiculous and I've just been keeping everything in my save for later section for months. At first I assumed it would just mask the sidebar, but it looks like it prevents the sidebar from loading. Thank you very much!

I can shop on Amazon again. Loathed the sidebar and had started shopping on other sites because the Amazon site had become unusable. I don't understand why UI/UX designers add features that no one wants and then can't hide.

I saw at an https://www.amazonforum.com that the author is an Amazon staffer, which is why I decided to try this extension. As of April 9, 2021, it works flawlessly with my updated Chrome on my Windows 10 Pro computer.
