It seems to just randomly choose when it works. I can't figure it out. And yes the playlists in question are unlisted or public.
Works for me - thanks! Suggestion: Also display the total when playing a video that's within a playlist.
does not work
Does not work on playlists larger than 100 videos
I don't understand why most people faced problems, it worked perfectly for me. I just open the playlist and the time goes up on the upper right corner
Seems to only add up the time from a loaded page content, so if your playlist is large enough it will only count a fraction of it. Kinda works, but meh, the only reason I needed it in the first place is to see how long is my abysmally large playlist and it failed at that.
Only worked for the first 100 videos
Not Working for me
THISS TELLS THE WRONG TIME
doesn't count all videos
Only works on playlist pages, not when viewing videos within a playlist.
It didn't calculate the actual playlist length. When I had 400 videos it was 19 hours I added 100 more videos and suddenly it was only 6 hours?
Was very good, and made dealing with my thousand long playlist much easier. However, it is not workign on chrome anymore.
why doesn't it work anymore???
It does not work for me anymore!
The extension was good until now. It's not working on Chrome anymore. Please fix it and I will change my rating. I have emailed a couple of times.
Parou de funcionar, depois da atualização do Youtube....
Working perfectly!
worked without any issues for me. all the issues mentioned in the comments here must have been fixed.
Good extension, but it would be nice to add a dark mode feature when looking at playlists
useful
This *was* a really awesome extension, that restored functionality Youtube should never have removed in the first place ... but it no longer works :(
nice. Works on premuim
Doesn't show up anywhere
Doesn't work at all
WOW ! It's amazing.Really works in my laptop.I felt very Happy Thank you.?????
sucks
Does the job like it's supposed to.
Cool but the time comes up and goes away really fast.
it's working well
Why it append in url disable polymer, thats why UI is changing of youtube.
Edit 2: recently started only showing NaN:NaN for playlists with deleted, private or blocked videos in them (read: all of mine). The issue might also be too long playlist, not sure. Edit 3:two stars for automatically loading playlists completely so that I don't have to scroll to the bottom a dozen times. A neat side effect.
This extension worked perfectly. I had zero delay after installing; simply began working right after refreshing the page. Why would youtube ever remove this piece of information. Great extension.
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that it worked. This is amazing!
four for the delay :) EDIT : Five for being more useful than i thought
Short delay before showing top right. Works well.
took a minute before appearing but doesnt require any tinkering which is handy
I load this thing into google chrome and all it does is take me right back to the screen where I downloaded it from, Stupid!
Sadly doesnt work. Just shows a different duration on every refresh
It shows a diferent duration value each time you refresh the playlist page....
Liked it at first, but since youtube updated, it hasn't worked since.
It was spotty when I first used it (I'd have to refresh the playlist page every time to get it to show up). But now, with the new YouTube update, it doesn't work at all.
Nice feature
It works, but it hides the duration in a little semi-transparent box in the top right corner of the page. Not intuitive and a bit in the way.
It doesn't work, and it doesn't look nice either. I didn't even notice that the time stamp appeared at the top corner instead of where it usually is, so it took a couple seconds of searching to even figure it out. After the fact, if I wanted to see another playlist's time, the timer would display the first playlist's time until I refreshed the page. On top of that, if I left the page to go to my Subscriptions, the timer was still there. Not using this anymore, and I suggest no one else to.
It's ugly, it's simple, but it works. Sort of. If you have a playlist that has more than 100 videos, you have to click the "More" button and have the addon recalculate the total time for your playlist every single time. While this doesn't seem like such a bad thing, there are web scripts out there which can calculate the playlist in its entirety without your repeated intervention. I personally cannot recommend this addon if you have large playlists, but for smaller ones, it does the job.
Nice feature to have back, but the display is perhaps a bit too far away from everything else on larger monitors.
Comes in handy. Does exactly what it claims.
Very useful.
I don't know why Youtube removed this feature. Anyways thanks to the dev
a very useful extension
