It made it a lot easier to download hundreds of PDF files all in one button. Thanks!
I hit the developer . its bad tool . don't loss your time to download.
does nothing, clicking it or opening option or anything just doesnt open for me
does not work, only downloads 1 link
I have used this for nearly 5 years really valuable
seems this has not been updated for years, but still thanks to the author, the way to use it is so easy and elegant!
-1 star for not opening in 'one tab' eg: imgbox gallery otherwise does what is needed
Installed to chrome, pinned to the bar, but now what? I highlight links and now what? Are there magic words you have to use to get it to work?
Cannot praise this highly enough. Nuff said.
POS doesn't do what is advertised
This extension was awesome, but stopped working an year ago. Unfortunately none of the alternatives are good either.
This would be wondering if the ALT + ENTER feature worked to save file links... It's a Google Chrome hot key so it won't work anymore. I see it was already reported multiple times, but hasn't been fixed yet. Once working I will give this a 5 Star review.
Unable to download any of selected links by the extension.
Downloaded only 1 file. Something is broken in Google (again, forever).
Doesn't download more than 5 files at a time for me.
this has been good extension and serves the purpose of what I need for. thanks
Thank you so much for this!!
Solved a problem other, more involved software did not. Kudos to the developer!
baaaa
I wanted to download a bunch of links from a website and this extension helped me achieve that easily
Doesn't work.
Saved me a lot of time reviewing a mailing list archive.
Worked perfectly.
Not working at all on my MacBook. I can click the icon however I want, nothing is happening. I can try to set hotkeys as much as I like, it remains "unset". It's totally useless!
I spent five minutes selecting and scrolling, selecting and scrolling, to get it to download an entire page worth of links (700 files, 5+Gb). Unfortunately, those minutes were wasted, as the app only started 51 downloads, and ignored the rest.
perfect
Its cool
can't download from a directory listing
Easy mouse-select and download functionality that actually works--unlike a lot of other downloaders...
A downthemall chrome alternative? Awesome! IT Did just what I needed: download multiple maps for the game nexuiz.
Does not work.
beyond imagination!!! Great!
Very good, I needs a tool to download selected image links and it perfectly suites my need.
Does exactly what it says. No problem
This app let you select few links and if you hit "alt" + "enter", downloads will start automatically. Maybe the page where you download would ask you to alloy multiple downloads at the same time.
I have a solution for all these people complaining about not being able to select location to store multiple files: If you want to download multiple files to a specific location other than the default setting you can do this: 1. Download one file from the page where you are planning to download multiple files, and select where to save it. 2. Open Chrome -> Settings -> [Show advanced settings...] -> and uncheck "Ask where to save each file before downloading" 3. Then proceed to select multiple links with 'uSelect iDownload' and press [Alt]+[Enter] Have some patience... browser may prompt you to approve downloading multiple files -> click [Allow] I believe that even though Chrome has setting for default download location; their developers were smart enough to consider power users probably want to keep downloading files to last location.
Amazing. That's all there is.
Doesn't work on Macs
Does exactly what it says, quickly, cleanly, works. Fourth downloader I tried in a row, this one did not blink.
Another dumb extension creating a separate save dialog for every downloaded link. It is not useful if you want to operate more than 5 files.
Does not work.
Works very well, exactly what I needed. Needed to restart Chrome after installation to make the icon work.
This was awesome! I had a lot of data to download and there's no way that I could have done it one file at a time. Just make sure to uncheck the box for choose where to save each time in Chrome Settings...
Rubbish. Doesn't work
This is too awesome. It's not perfect though but definitely lets you achieve the reason you searched for this kind of tool in the first place.
Excellent. Very easy to use.
Awesome!!! Only thing ive found that enables downloading multiple links at once.
Nothing. Ever. Happens.
a handy extension that do the job
Awesome, i just want it to stop opening download tabs, its annoying.
Very useful, however, it needs to have the option to select which folder you would like to use to download all of the links you had selected. That's the one problem I have with it. I get one save box per link I had selected.
does not work
This was so close to be exactly what I needed. But it lacks the option to choose where you want all the files saved. Instead, a save box pops up for every single download link. Now I know the solution to this would be to disable "Ask where to save each file before downloading" But why in the world would i want to do that? I don't want all the files I save ever to be piled in a cluster @$#% inside one folder. Anyway, I am throwing the suggestion out there to allow choosing which folder you would like all of the files you have chosen to download to be saved in. Still pretty useful because all the save boxes pile right on top of each other, so at least I don't have to move the mouse after each time I click :P
If you're attempting to download X links, and you're not downloading in a default directory, then it opens X "Save As" windows!!! Totally repellent!!!
Fantastic! Rectangular select -> Alt+Enter, and voila - one can download multiple _things_ in a single operation.
It works. Double-click the button, highlight links you want to download, and hit Alt-Enter. Away you go. Chrome warned me that the page was attempting to download a lot of links, so I had to click Allow. That's it. I pulled down an index page full of files, over 100, in no time.
This extension would be perfect if you could a) select by extension/contents of the link URL and b) include a master "where should everything be downloaded" option for those of us who have the "choose download location for each file" turned on.
Fail! did not work - did nothing in fact
I click the extension button and nothing happens. Any magic in there?
Very useful. Got send 280 images from YouSendIt and this automated downloading the lot in one go. Great!
dosent work for me...im not convinced im clicking like a moron i think iv been trolled
Greeeeat!! Love it so much! Thanks~ Only one small question, how to remove the keyboard shortcut setting? Though completely harmless when the box unchecked.
As far as I have tried alternatives, this is the Multi Links (Firefox) replacement for Chrome. I guess this extension is primarily intended for downloading, but I use it for mostly link opening. I like the way you can de-select links and draw multiple rectangles. It's just so seamless. Have encountered problems with some type of links. I'd like to have some more configuration possibilities, such as setting your own shortcut keys for "open selected links" and "download selected links".
very user-friendly and easy to operate. better to add the instruction in the option page and let user select the downloading directories. Anyway, a 5-star extension
how can I disable the tips??it seems to be very annoying
Doesn't do anything in my Chrome under Ubuntu 10.4
I love this extension and wish I could continue to use it, but I have an issue with what I read in the details section: This extension can access: Your data on all websites This item can read every page that you visit -- your bank, your web email, your Facebook page, and so on. Often, this kind of item needs to see all pages so that it can perform a limited task such as looking for RSS feeds that you might want to subscribe to. Caution: Besides seeing all your pages, this item could use your credentials (cookies) to request or modify your data
