it doesn't work.

its failing to scan after multiple attempts of logging in saying "unable to fetch data...make sure you are logged in and try again"

Was recommended this extension from youtube, and it works great. Loved it.

The extension appears to fail with an error stating you should file a bug. Ignore that message and download the calendar, it will contain your contacts birthdays.

I had the Facebook app on my phone only to remind me of birthdays. Now I can uninstall FB - hooray! Extension gave a few errors, suggesting December birthdays weren't captured but they were so that's fine in the end.

The extension said there was an error reading December birthdays and that I should change the language to English, but it looks like it created it just fine anyway. Anywho, works as intended!

Great app. well worth using to get a list of FB birthdays easily.

Kept getting an error message, but found that when I went back into the extension, the calendar was there and was easy to download and import into Google and Outlook calendars.

Great Extention for pulling out Birthday from your FB page. It will download the dates and import it in google calendar. This extention I found is simple too.

I was gonna develop my own tool to scan for friend's birthdays, but then I found this awesome extension!

Excellent plugin, just exported all BDs from Facebook and enjoying them in my Google Calendar!

Keeps telling me there is an error and to change the language to English, well it is in English. I switched to English (UK) just to give it another try but got the same result. It errors out with each try.

Worked perfectly. Complained that it couldn't export December and I would have to change the language, but it worked anyway. Added up all the birthdays Facebook listed and it matched what was imported, and it imported without issue to Google Calendar, so no problems at all. It did take several seconds for Google Calendar to import it, but afterwards it reported the same number of events.

It is not working( while being logged), showing error: Error... Unable to fetch birthdays data. Make sure you are logged into Facebook and try again.

Im having this error, "unable to fetch data, please log in to facebook" error. when im currently logged in and will start my 1st scan. thanks

some of the ux isn't so straight forward (language format error even when correct language is confirmed, and correctly generated bdays are displayed in the extension's own calendar). i've still yet to locate the "sucessfully" generated + downloaded .ics file, which is unfortunate (not found in downloads folder). will revise review when i figure it out/is fixed

I have been trying to find an effective method for transferring my fb birthdays into my google calendar and suffered for over 8 years now. But this extension made it so easy. I'm a fan now.

I always get distracted when going into FB to find friends' birthdays. This makes it easier to stay connected with the people I care about.

Superb little tool - followed instructions and it has worked perfectly. Not all birthdays will migrate but that's down to users' individual privacy preferences in FB, not this extension. Thank you Peter!

Does exactly as it says. You may get a December read error but generate and export the ics/ csv file anyway, it'll contain December birthdays. ENSURE TO CREATE A NEW CALENDAR BEFORE UPLOADING TO GOOGLE CALENDAR. Wish i did... cannot undo. Good luck ?

Looks like FB locked out the Birthday ics file and now only allow for every stupid FB event to be linked to a calendar. Add this extension, dl the birthday ics file and follow the instructions on the extension and you will have every loser FB friend's bday on your ical/google cal. Removed the extension after that. Thank god for people who make these tools!

Worked really well! Some buggy error messages, but the best solution that works with the Facebook redesign (other solutions got broken with the redesign).

A tip for y'all, while importing the ics file if you are getting the error like oops!!! Just ignore it and refresh the calendar page and start importing again with ics format, your import should have already been done even if it shows the error again, go check your calendar mate. What if the scan feature didn't worked, ics calendar generation for import, gets your work done here. Glad your ext. worked very happy to use it.

It works! ignore the error message! If you scan and then get the error about not working for december dates, that's untrue. When I downloaded to csv it had the decemember dates included! I'm so relieved; the only thing preventing me from deleting this dumb social is the birthdays - now I can reach out to people who matter on a more personal level and the rest dont matter ;) Thanks so much!

worked like a charm. Select option to export in ics. Go to google calender,settings, import. If google gives error, just check before importing again. The FB b'day would have got added to Google calander.

Worked really good, but for decenber. I use facebook in portuguese (Brazil), and asked me to change language at the end. Which I did sereval times. But still didn´t worked.

The older version worked perfectly for me, but I have since added some friends on Facebook. I tried scanning the birthdays with the old version of the extension - no matter how many times I clicked on scan, nothing would change. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling again. Now I keep getting this error: Script was able to scan all the months, but December. Old Facebook api is used to scan December, please change Facebook language to English (UK), English (US), Русский, Українська or עברית, and scan again. I tried changing the language to 4/5 of suggested languages with no luck :( please fix this issue. Also, the extension doesn't remember which birthdays I hid last time - so when I reinstalled the extension, I now have to manually hide all the b-days I don't need again :(

I'll admit I'm new to using extensions, however I kept getting an error saying it downloaded all the birthdays except for December and asked me to change the language on my facebook to correct the error. Despite doing so, I kept getting the same error. I also can't figure out how to open the CSV file with excel so it's a lot of extra characters and hard to read. Not sure I can actually use it.

I've been using this for over a year as a virtual assistant for various clients. However, all of a sudden, there have been issues. . error messages, December birthdays not exporting and it asks to change my language. I sure hope this gets fixed as I rely on it a lot.

Hello Peter, google calendar isn´t able to upload .ics file. "You can import event information in iCal or CSV (MS Outlook) format." You´ve made a note saying CSV cannot be used to upload to google calendar, right? Any suggestion?
