This is perfect piece of engineering for me. It worked well for what i was looking for. Blocking overlay so that I can read the page in piece and also gave me option in cases where I wanted to see the overlay. Deserves 5 star!

Only blocks popups for a few pages. Then it tells you to pay to keep using it. I want google to add a 0 star rating.

Their very OWN web site at https://overlayblock.com/ contains overlays!! Which is not only showing they have problems with ethics and principles, but this extension then dutifully blocks them, repeatedly, consuming your 10 free goes in a matter of seconds. It might work, but they are too greedy for me to bother to invest time in working out if it will work for me. Should be 200 free blocks. Update: Clicking "Upgrade" takes you directly to a Paypal payment request on paypal.com which is against Paypal rules. Reported. Scam.

Utterly useless and the morons who made it still demand money from you to keep using this worthless waste of time.

SCAM ALERT! No, I'm not paying for this piece of crud. 10 "free" blocks and then they want 20 bucks. Get bent.

Works every time! Yes you may see a flicker but it beats having to close those annoying grey out screens.

Only blocks 10 popups then kills you with advertising spam. Worse than the pop ups that it's blocking.

Don't install! This is only a demo version! It stops working after it blocked 10 overlays and requires you to buy the premium version in order to keep using it.

Borderline Fraudulent. Doesn't tell you about costing $19.99 after 10 blocks in the beginning. Those 10 blocks will only allow you to visit 3 or 4 websites so you don't have any real chance to know if it works well or not before it shuts down and ask for the $19.99. Why would anyone pay before you know if it works completely or not? I saw it block 2 or 3 overlays and miss 2. So is a 60/40-ish success rate worth 20 bucks? Your call. They should ABSOLUTELY be more upfront about what is going to happen before you install. I can only assume that the trial period is so drastically short because they don't want people to see how hit and miss the extension is. A note to the Devs, if your extension really works then give people more time to evaluate it. I would suggest giving them 48 hours with unlimited blocks. People will be able to truly check it out. You will end up making more money because people will generally pay for a good product. As it sits now, you are asking people to pay for the unknown.

A bit slow, but it does work. But the $19 Extortion price is not worth it.

WARNING: They block the app after 10 uses, and then extort you into paying $19 for the app. Scam

Only asks you to pay for an upgrade. Absolute rubbish. Don't waste your time.

Good news! It doesn't work in the slightest, it bothers you by claiming it IS working and asks if you want it to keep blocking things that it isn't blocking at all, and then the makers of this extension have the gall to demand money in exchange for continued use of this barely-functioning waste of time.

Didn't mention anything about paying.

You only get 10 free blocks? There are more honest ways to earn money, you know. Human trafficking is huge right now. On an equally flippant note, those testimonials in the description were just gorgeously fake. Feels like a new internet? I wander the internet? Just gorgeous, sir, loved it.

Overall well-designed, but blocks lots of useful overlays. Since you only get 10 free blocks and the purchase price is so high, I stopped using it instead of building a whitelist.
