It doesn't block any spoilers or mentions on youtube.
thanks for the great work !
Totally works...and has funny GoT-themed phrases to show the content was blocked. Exactly what I needed...thank you!
Doesn't work.
was good but doesn't work anymore
Why its not working on youtube . There has so many videos on youtube that reveals secrets . You should code for it .
Works sometimes, recently stopped functioning on Facebook and Youtube.
Was waiting till the whole season was out before watching. This helped a bunch to keep spoilers at bay, though I still managed to get hit by a few when I was on my phone or on Imgur but great extension nonetheless. Will use again for next season.
This is great but it MUST BLOCK /R/FREEFOLK ENTIRELY. So many spoilers make it to the reddit front page that it is ruining the suspense for those of us who have yet to finish the season! :( If we could modify the settings ourselves it would be easier to customize for situations like this.
I LOVE YOU
Been needing something like this for awhile, Thank You! Side note: Would like to see this work on YouTube because it does not for me, it could just be because I have the new UI layout also.
Not working on facebook anymore
I love the idea but it's a bit patchy. For some reason, for example, today it says it's blocked 12 references to Game of Thrones but I keep stumbling across spoilers on Facebook and it isn't doing anything to hide them.
It blocks stuff some times, but doesn't block others. And it takes a second to load up so you might see a spoiler before it decides to cover it.
WhatsApp Web support?? :D And how could I delete the YouTube filter?
Love it.
I added this last season and have it switched on again for this season. Works a charm. My Youtube home page is almost full of blank spaces (where GoT reviews would have been) and when I use FB I see stories suddenly disappear. Only problem is when I go and use my phone I have to remember to be careful!
Works amazing! :D
Works great to block the spoils, especially living in Australia when the yanks see the episode first! Do you have paypal or venmo so i can buy you a beer?
Sometimes it works and most of the time it doesn't. On youtube there's always GOT titles with thumbnails I don't want to see.
Edit: Used to love it. Doesn't work on facebook anymore which renders it completely useless for me now. Fantastic. Only problem I have noticed is that although there is support for reddit, sponsored pages and comments still have the potential for spoilers. Other than that this is a must have extension for any avid ASOIAF fan who is waiting for Book 6 to come out!
This used to be so terrible. But without this extension, I could not have survived til the end of season 6 without being spoiled. MUST HAVE for anybody like me, who binges the whole show once it's done.
It works, but can only catch Game of Thrones. Need expansion.
Excellent extension. All I need is support for Imgur.com, and it's perfect.
Doesn't work on all sites. It may work on others but the point is to have it block spoilers.
Is there anyway to add pajiba.com to the list of blocked sites? I was using another extension but that one didn't block pictures while this one does. That alone is an amazing feature and it works on most of the websites I frequent that I would normally get spoilers from - except pajiba. Amazing extension otherwise!
Great but any chance of a linkedin update for it? The spoilers have now accessed linkedin! we have a breach!
Fantastic extension, however note: it doesn't block Facebook suggested pages, which can contain spoilers.
Only works on specific sites, so it's not enough. 5 minutes after install I saw a spoiler headline on a popular gaming site. So if you have sites you frequent that aren't on the list (like Vox/Gawker media outlets) you're in for unstoppable spoilers. A less-than-nuclear option could be to allow users to enter specific domains.
This is amazing. I'm finally saved from every inconsiderate jerk posting spoilers left and right.
I originally gave this three starts because it didn't work with hashtags on twitter and I got spoilt I can now give it five stars as the developer read my review and fixed the issue. Thank you for fixing this issue.
Can you add an option to turn it completely off? When I swap both bars to "off" it still blocks posts which I would be interested in seeing (Tuesday - Saturday) without having to click each one
I really wanted this to work after having so many spoilers, but after installing it, it didn't work. I made sure it was turned on in the extensions, I closed Chrome and reopened it, and it still didn't work. I tested it by opening up a tab that literally discusses spoilers for GOT, and it did not work. Sorry, am I missing something?
Fills my Facebook newsfeed with big black boxes. 10/10, would be saved from spoilers again.
Installed this and saw you were the developer. "Hey, I know that guy." Thanks for making it.
Is it possible to add custom sites? Really I just want something that on every site, blocks all elements which has anything that matches the following regex directly in it's contents or attributes. game.?of.?thrones Example, Vox currently has GOT headlines on the side of all of their pages: http://www.vox.com/2016/5/17/11687014/tsa-against-airport-security
Is it possible to add feedly to the blocked sites?
Works great, especially with the new update that lets you decide if you want to see why it blocked something or not. I usually keep that turned off because just seeing what it was blocking can be a spoiler! The only negative I have to say is that I'm bummed they beat me to the punch! I thought of this idea a few weeks ago only to see it already existed! Fantastic job!
Thanks. Is it possible to include https://*.slack.com
You should add YouTube and 9GAG.
Really good and is working well. Now works on regional sites. Brilliant developer :)
There is no option to turn off what the potential spoiler might be. "A potential spoiler was blocked because it mentioned the phrase "X"". When I find out people are talking about X on social media, that's still a big spoiler so it didn't help much. An option to "hide potential spoiler phrase" would be great
Great work on the extension Stu, 5 stars. I would love an option to remove the reason why the spoiler was blocked. Just don't print the buzzword e.g. "asoif".
It's doing nothing for me, against things specifically titled "Game of Thrones".
Doesn't really work. It blocks random stuff yet lets actual GoT/ASoIaF stuff through all the time.
I've been waiting for this exact thing.
