While this would apparently find and replace text in webforms, but when submitted, the previous/ unchanged values would go through.

It half worked

Great - But Cannot Access Premium Features. Have tried to pay for the premium features but the pay page says that it is not working at the bottom checkout. Tried reloading and resetting my cookies but still no dice. How do we pay for the Premium Features - great plugin but would be 5 stars if the premium bundling features were accessible!

I personally find the extension extremely useful for editing documents that I do on a regular basis. I only have a single issue for it, I really want the ability to bundle together, however anytime I try to purchase premium, it won't let me go through to purchase it. Any help would be great!

Searches as you type, which for very large documents is incredibly slow, takes a ridiculous amount of ram, and basically kills the browser. This extension is unusable for the exact case when it would be most useful.

Does not work at all!

Tried finding "35.99" on a store with hundreds of products quick-edit mode, and it did not find any of the price fields... it did not work at all, all the extension buttons stayed grayed out.. trying another extension hopefully better luck.

Tried using the other one available on chrome but it just freezes up the wordpress editor. This one works excellently with no problems.

It should work fine, but unfortunately not in my case :( I'm trying to replace data in single-line fields, but every time I press the updated field, the replaced text reverts back to original.

It is invalid and I have checked many websites and each one is invalid so you will waste your own time if you download this extension.

Not sure what happened, but it used to work for, well, finding and replacing. Recently, it finds, it replaces....and the changes would never save. I've tried everything. Pretty much has become a waste for my purposes.

I used it to change text on a WordPress page and I am almost 100% sure it then reverted the changes after. That means it is extremely invasive if it can do that after I have published changes. Very suspicious. Would love to get a reply from the developer. I used the free version to change 400 links on a page from http to https (I also changed 127 from httpss to https). It worked, but then at a later date the page was back how it was before. To have that kind of access to be able to revert changes is very concerning. Is this correct or must there have been a glitch on my end? I tried repeating today and it wouldn't work so I just used Notepad/TextEdit by copy and pasting the whole page code over then back. I can understand the developer wanting money for that many changes, but to allow it, then change the website later as if it was a trial is almost unbelievable to me. Hopefully I am wrong and this isn't how it works, but in case my suspicions are right, this is far too invasive and I am removing it from Chrome.

Having this weird issue where inside an online text editor, it finds the word but then deletes it for some reason instead of replacing it. Would have loved for this work as it will help save me ton of work but can't seem to fix this issue. For example, if I want it to find the term "[Insert date]" and replace it with "{date}" . Instead of replacing "[Insert date]" , it just deletes that value altogether without replacing it.

Had a manual task where we needed to change the domain for 1,000+ users who were having their email addresses updated. Unfortunately the system (Jira) does not have a built-in bulk editor, and our automated attempts left us with unexpected errors. So manual was the path, but this extension allowed us to use search and replace for the domains instead of just cut and paste. Greatly sped up the process and reduced errors. Don't know that I'll have a reason to use it again, but worked great this time.

I like this very much, however I have only ever used for a whole page once and I don't know how I did it, all other times I have to go into different text parts to change the text, can you help me do this all at once by showing me what i need to do, thank you.

I give it 3 starts because it works on some websites. I've tried reloading the page and incognito mode as you can see in the video but its not working. Cmd + Shift + F is reserved on macOS, so the hotkey won't work.

Didn't work, couldn't find matches, took away letters from my words (even though I did not want it to do that and had not yet confirmed the search and replace). Would NOT recommend.

Saves me so much time! Excellent tool. Bundle feature would be a massive game changer for me, but cannot currently access premium features. Recently just this October, 2020, the premium or full version stopped working. They're claiming "lifetime" but it might be just a period of time. I am required to buy the full version again to use the bundle feature (Of course I didn't.) Support is not replying. Website isn't helpful. I'm feeling that I was scammed. Free version works properly but don't buy the premium version ANYMORE. It's not "lifetime" as they claimed.

At first I thought it didn't work, but checking Advanced Options and then 'Include Single-Line Inputs' helped me with my needs. Thank you!

Worked for me! If you have a page with a very large amount of input fields, you might have to wait a minute. It took about 30 seconds or so for mine to load before it found all the results.

Needs ability to detect double spaces in paragraphs (to then be replaced with single spaces)

One of the best and most needed of all my extensions as I type fast and I often have a few misspellings on common words. The only issue I see is that it simply will not work with Facebook at all. I do not understand why, but that is the case. Other than that a perfect extension as far as I am concerned. 5 stars 2 thumbs up etc :)

PRO: Fast and easy for creative flow.You can use place holders for people (numbers like 1 and 2 or titles like customer and clerk) when you're focused on writing, then replace with actual names when you're ready. You can quickly fix capitalization mistakes for titles and names, as well as repeated homonyms you might mistake when you are typing quickly. CON: To my knowledge of the free version, I don't think you can simply "select all" and then use a website's **typographical emphasis** to make a word bold or italics in mass.

Suggesting you to add blacklist word, which should never change Also it should NOT find and replace URLs.  This implementation will change review from 4 star to 5 star Else plugin is too good.

This is one fast, light extension. Changes were made immediately on execution. I am very impressed. My only problem is it does delete some text which I have typed in text areas while making the edits. I don't know where the glitch is, but I think I must uninstall because of it. Otherwise it was a great app.

Very thankful for this useful tool! Saves a ton of time while editing client copy before publishing on WordPress sites! Especially useful is the Use RegEx feature under Advanced Options. Allows you to find and replace multiple items that are very similar with only one or two variables changing. I don't even really understand how it works, but the help article on RegEx was very clear and explained how I could easily use it in my case. Thanks again!

Awesome extension that helps

I will be happy to spend money on this since I can use it effectively at work. However, I would do that if it have this option or feature: I am looking forward for this extension to have an "auto format" feature. By auto format, what I mean is to automatically do all those that are saved in favorites or probably another tab. Right now, what I do is go to saved or favorites, click one, replace all, open the extension again, click another one, replace all until I am done with like 20 of my saved contents. I want to see a feature that when I click a button, the extension would do the saved #1-#4 and replace all that it find in the document so I wouldn't need to manually redo it every time. I'd be happy to spend money on this and recommend it to my coworkers once it has that feature.

Great App. I use it to edit interviews with a lot of repeating HTML, and it works like a charm. There are things I would change if I could, but nothing else I tried worked, so compared to those, this is perfect. :)

Makes changes well but changes do not stick. Using with catalog items in Magento 2. Find and replace appears to work, but when you go back and check, the change did not take and it still was the original text. Sticks fine if I change manually. Very confusing. I was very excited about the product and even willing to pay for the upgrade but obviously not if it does not work.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I will reload, and try to get it to work, but it won't. When I try to match case, it has often replaced ALL the words, which is obviously incorrect. I am just going back to Control F, I don't know why it did not work. Not Cache Issues, Browser issues, etc. Disappointed

I tried using in in Shopify, and specifically Oberlo app and it doesn't work at all; not even after allowing it to try for 5 minutes as another reviewer stated.

This extension was great--until it suddenly, without warning, demanded my email address and took away the most useful feature (the ability to store search-and-replace favourites). I understand that developers need to eat too, and I would gladly have paid a one-time price for a full version, since it is useful in my work, but as great as this extension is, it's not worth paying an ongoing, monthly fee. The remaining free functionality can be emulated by any number of other extensions, so I see no reason to keep this extension and I am annoyed that I clicked the permissions button to share my email address when it popped up on my screen.
