Too many same confused values in one place with small sizes. I just want to see X and Y sizes. Nothing more.
Great extension,
Good tool, works great and easy to use.
Works nice, thanks for your work
I'm a web designer and this tool is great for my job. Thanks a lot
Works like a charm. The people who are leaving bad reviews about it not being centimeters are at minimum somewhat arrogant and at most very stupid. They obviously know extremely little about their computers work. It might be worth putting a disclaimer in the description explaining why you can't find the real-world dimensions of a computer screen using an app like this.
Its in pixels, and I need cm, not just pixels. 1 pixel is 0.0264583333 cm, how do you think I am able to use it???!!! I don't get why pixel would be useful, I am guessing the good reviews are all just fake!! People are like, its better then eyeballing it, but I need this for math not for just look at it and find a proportion. :l I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS!
Its in pixels, not a fan of pixels, please add a cm selection.
I HATE THIS, THIS IS BAD!! IT IS PIXELS I AM IN GRD 3 HOW DO YOU EXPECT ME TO READ PIXELS AND TRANSLATE TO CM!!!??
This works with Shadow Dom, very happy about that.
I needed to measure the height between two elements, but the tooltips cover part of both elements and it's very difficult to measure. Please, move these tooltips to a small popup (position: absolute or fixed). Or at least, create a setting to remove excessive tooltips
issue cannot rule this website https://www.safranbolufirini.com/ check body element
Very good. One major issue - the readings get hidden when the element is on the right/bottom of the page/window. It should switch to the other side when measuring elements at extremes, conditionally.
Great Ruler, A++++
Okay, but it doesn't follow page scrolling, so it's not right for my needs.
I like that it doesn't require permissions, but the UX is horrendous. It's virtually impossible to see the rectangle you're drawing or the values being measured because everything is on top of itself.
The width and height are really tedious to see.
This extension has virus, it will use your youtube account to view Indian video. Make sure to check before downloading this.
You can use it to measure something big (more than 100px), but smaller than that, you can't see the width/height
Add option to move all the info to the top of the active browser window. Currently I can't measure space between elements because all these white rectangles are covering them. I need to measure 10-20px margins.
Great ruler.
Potentially excellent ruler app. Suggestions for the developer: 1. Remove the background white from the px labels and reduce the size of the text 2. All you need is X and Y max width and height - no need for in-between sizes For a great example of how this might work, check out the Mac OS Cmd+Shift+4 screen grab UI. Easy five stars with these changes.
It looks like it would be a solid extension, except that it's not very good for small distances. The dimension readout covers what you're trying to measure for a space of, say, 25px. Also the dimension readout went off the side of the screen for one measurement I tried to make.
Why are more people not downloading this!
great work can i start with shortcut keys
Good ruler. But can't use this extension on svg file opened in tab
Fantastic!! It'd be even more so if there's a feature like auto key-spot detection and capture (say the four corners of a block). But most likely by the time there is it would be a paid extension haha. Anyway, nice work!
Great Ruler! Better than trying to eyeball a measurement!
