Thanks for the great extension!

It was great while it lasted. Just from my own purchases my favorite charity, debra.org, received over $260 via Amazon Smile to go toward direct aid for those suffering from epidermolysis bullosa and research for new treatments and an eventual cure for that painful, disfiguring genetic disorder. It's unfortunate Amazon has retired the Smile program. Thanks, Dan and Josh, for making it easier to get more money to many worthy charities!

Great extension. Sad to see it go. Does this mean Amazon will no longer donation a portioj of my purchases to my chosen charities?

I'd give it a 5 ... if it worked! Installed in Opera and set up a while ago, but it does NOT redirect. I think it needs to be updated perhaps??

Easy extension to always do a little, nice thing. Works fine in Edge Chromium.

Has worked well for me for months, but in the past few days has suddenly landed on a "sorry, something went wrong" page. If I then click on the Amazon logo in the corner, it redirects correctly, but not if I just type in "amazon.com" as the URL. Hoping this gets fixed soon, as it's been so great to not have to think about it myself! Thanks!

This extension is great, but I have to occasionally disable it because it breaks some pages (probably not this extension's fault - I'd bet it's Amazon's fault for not testing all functionality on the smile subdomain). For example, I cannot manage my Amazon "subscribe & save" subscriptions with this enabled.

The response time is instant whereas some other chrome extensions that does the same thing takes a bit more time to redirect. I love this extension and it works with Amazon Assistant as well!! Great!

Great idea but unfortunately it doesn't work all the time. Some of the links within Amazon take you to www.amazon even if you were at smile.amazon which has caught me out a number of times. Wanted a way to redirect these sneaky links but this doesn't do the job. Works when linked from outside of the Amazon domain though.

I am very glad to have found this. I see there are 2 others, and because of one bug in this one (sent to the developer - clickable links from others not changing) I might consider trying the others. When I go to amazon.com from any link that doesn't already point to a product, it works flawlessly.

For anyone shopping on Amazon, they should always be using Smile, and this extension makes it so I do not have to remember to explicitly go to Smile. I use this in Brave browser, not Google Chrome, and it works great!

It's very common for me to just browse around on Amazon checking prices and reviews. When I actually go to buy an item, I often forget to switch over to Amazon Smile and don't realize it until after I've placed the order. This extension has saved me numerous times. Solid 5/5.

This extension used to be great, now it does nothing unless you uninstall/reinstall it weekly (at least). Too bad.

I love this extension and have been using it for a while. I got a chrome update recently that I think broke it though. From skimming other reviews seems they are having the same issue. I hate to rate it one star but if somebody is coming to see this now they need to know... as soon as this gets fixed I'll be sure to update my review.

To those having issues with the extension recently- Give this a try: 1. Turn off Smile Always 2. Log out of Amazon Account 3. Turn on Smile Always 4. Log into Amazon If that doesn't work try: 1. Turn off Smile Always 2. Log out of Amazon Account 3. Log into Amazon 4. Turn on Smile Always This got it working for me. Wonderful extension!

No longer works. Links to Amazon are not redirected to AmazonSmile. Typing in Amazon.com in the address bar is also not redirected to AmazonSmile. Stopped working about a week ago.

Having issues these days. It doesn't do anything. My current setup Chrome Browser Version 72.0.3626.81 (Official Build) (64-bit) on Linux Ubuntu Box 16.04.

This app has malware in it. When you search for something on google it will hijack when you click on a link and launch a different link, links that are probably monetized. Disabling the app this behavior no longer happens.

Easy, unobtrusive, and you can support groups easier!

i originally used another app for this function. i always had to wait for the change. this app works with no apparent difference than choosing smile every time.

i love this extension. its very simple and useful. its works very good.its support every country. and UK and Germany support is awesome.

If you use Chrome as your browser, this extension will automatically take you to AmazonSmile when you go to Amazon. It's helped my family know that every purchase we make on Amazon gives back to our community.

I love this extension, but I just wish that there was a button to disable it sometimes. Some of my other Amazon-focused (research) extensions don't play nice with Amazon Smile, unfortunately, so it is a hassle to have to go into the Extensions menu to disable it when I want to use them.

Although I love the idea of the extension, it always redirects to the amazon smile mobile site, which means I can't add items to my cart, and makes it very ineffective.

I love not having to remember to go to Amazon Smile every time I log in to Amazon. I redirected my bookmarks, but if I happen to type it directly, or head there from somewhere else, I always forgot. Not anymore.

Love this, but I recently noticed it no longer works on links (such as tracking/marketing links) which don't directly point to www.amazon.com but use their own redirect service.

When I click a link a product link on a website or email, it doesn't take me to smile.amazon - I need to refresh the page or manually go to Amazon and then the smile redirect works. It should automatically redirect direct links too.

Very helpful and clean implementation to redirect any amazon url request to the smile equivalent.

This is the best. I realize the Amazon donations are measly, but this takes the pain out of having to remember!

Works well. However, I have a feature suggestion. Currently, when on Amazon Smile, every tab on Amazon starts with "AmazonSmile: " in the title. This is annoying because when in Chrome, the title text gets cut off to basically just the prefix! So you can't see any of the product names. So a nice feature would be if this extension had an option which would remove that prefix, so we can see product titles from just the tab titles. (will raise to 5 stars if implemented)

does exactly what it says. Doesn't hurt you to shop at smile.amazon, but it helps others. This even works with non-american amazons like smile.amazon.de

Does what it's supposed to do. No discernible effect on performance, no conflicts with other extensions. I never fail to help my favorite bird rescue.

I shop a lot on Amazon and want my purchases to contribute to my kids' school, but it never seemed to default to smile.amazon.com. So my purchases would go through without contributing to the charity. This Smile Always extension redirects any www.amazon.com page to smile.amazon.com. This took care of the problem and now all my purchases contribute to my charity of choice. Thought I'd share the info, so more could benefit. I think smile.amazon.com is an excellent program that all Amazon users should try.

I like this idea to always use amazon smile! A suggestion to Smile Always, it seems it doesn't coordinate with "always https," which also works by redirecting your web traffic. As a result, Chrome reports one doesn't work sometimes...

Does nothing. I have one at home that actually takes you to the site, the smile always version. this does nothing except try to load it again!

It's a crying shame that Amazon doesn't have an opt-in that makes ALL of your shopping go through their Smile program. This add-on fixes that, and I'm grateful to the developers for this.

This is one of the best extensions I've installed. I've never had issues with it and it does the one thing it is supposed to do perfectly. I don't even need to think about making my amazon purchases count toward something, it makes sure it happens :)

I love SmileAlways!! I have had no issues with it, whether browsing Amazon, shopping or using Prime, although I do not use Prime video or music except on rare occasions. I have had only minor issues with one site not recognizing the permalinks with the smile.amazon.com link. You have countless charities from which to choose when you sign up for AmazonSmile. Many are from your local community, while still others are nationally recognized or even international organizations. You are going to shop anyway, so why not support a charity with your purchase while you are at it? It doesn't cost you anything to participate.

Works quite well most of the time. That's all I can ask of an extension. The coders keep making improvements and that's all I can ask of them. If it gives you issues let them know. Service after the (free) sale is always a nice thing.

Works great to ensure you are always sending those donations to your favorite charity but I have to ding a star because some Amazon links (especially to reviews, some products and user account settings) do NOT work, and I get bounced to the Amazon home page when I click them. I have tried copy-pasting the link address into my browser and adding the "smile." in front of amazon in the URL but that gives me a page error and doesn't even take me to Amazon at all.

Everyone should be making use of this.

Currently having some compatibility issues with "HTTPS Everywhere" where both extensions try and redirect the same link. Is there a way to get them to work together?

Makes donating through Smile super easy!!

Overall, this is a great extension that makes it easy to make sure you're always donating to the charity of your choice. The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is because there are some issues with certain types of Amazon URLs. Small annoyances aside, I do recommend this extension.

Handy, but reroutes links to Amazon reviews & "questions" to the main page. I had to disable this in order to get to the right place.

I really don't like that it redirects you to the login page if you're not logged in already, essentially forcing you to log in to Amazon. It should be smarter and only redirect you to smile.amazon.com if you're already logged in.
