This is the best SMS application I've ever used... and I've tried many! Texting functions across platforms seamlessly and the interface is intuitive and smooth! After using PulseSMS on multiple platforms for at least a year now, it is obvious to me that the development team uses their own product in their daily lives because the rare bugs that come up are solved quickly and every detail seems to be thought out very carefully. I highly recommend to anyone that uses texting for work because it allows you to use your mobile device or desktop application or browser extension to communicate easily and even schedule your responses!

Extension has been working fine until recently. Now I can't read/send message due to a connection error to Pulse SMS the server!

Did not work and provider refused to provide a refund even though it was fully in accordance with the posted refund policy.

very reliable and quick. So far it does what it purported to do. . Have not lost a message since installing it. I would highly recommended to anyone, especially business.

My go to SMS app! Started using Pulse a couple of years ago and it rocks. Highly customizable, reliable, and good RESPONSIVE tech support. Well-worth every cent.

Best SMS app out there. It also works on computers that you do not have admin access to which is very helpful. How much more productive can you be if you can keep your hands on the keyboard and respond to texts? I know I am not pulling out my phone to check messages!

I've been using this for over a year. Just works. I also like that you can pin and name conversations groups.

love the app on my phone. purchased the lifetime. i just downloaded this extension for my pixelbook and my text conversation wont update...am i doing something wrong? i deleted the extension and app twice and the same thing keeps happening...wont update. i emailed the creator and basically told me hes to busy to help and just sent a generic email response and a link (that i already visited and read) which wasnt any help...

Extension does exactly what it's supposed to do, but is very laggy to open (on a relatively new Macbook Pro), and the GUI is a little awkward So far, though, extremely reliable and fast

It does what it's supposed to well. There were some minor hang ups but all things considered they were minor. The Windows app works well too.

I am absolutely IN-LOVE with this app and extension. The ability to "schedule messages" is the BEST for birthday reminders. On top of it all, the auto-response happens to be the #1 utility I have been needing for the longest time. When I have full conversations with existing customers without having to even use my phone has been a LIFE-SAVER for productivity.

It's a great app. It has a few glitches but it keeps getting better. Luke, the developer is attentive and responsive to users' questions and concerns.. Its seamless functionality across devices is very practical and once you begin to use it you will not one to be without it.

Used the free version of pushbullet for years until I started reaching max messages. Cost was too much just to send messages from pc. Tries a handful of apps and Pulse was the best for me. Purchased lifetime subscription a day after trying the free trial. Love it.

I've used the app on my phone for a year or so, and have been using it in the browser, too. The extensions make it more convenient on my home computer. I bought the life time and it's been worth it completely.

Just be sure to right click the extension icon, hit options, and allow the notifications. Then you're all set.

The developer, Luke, is really good about responding when you email him with questions. Like any program, it has had a few hiccups...but Luke will fix those issues promptly. I use this program multiple times a day for regular communication with co-workers and friends, and without having to veer away from my PC to my phone to respond to messages, man it's nice. And the sync between devices happens within seconds. Nice program. Highly recommend paying the lifetime price- well worth it!

After using it for a week, I signed up for a year (probably will sign up for "life-time"). Increadibly useful if you spend a lot of time on a desktop and don't want to mess with your phone. By the way it works great on Linux.

Excellent extension. Works great to text from my Chromebook and my tablet.

Works really well (as long as you use the pulse app as default sms app on your phone) What I miss is the icon to show how many unread messages I have

Great most of the time. Occasionally fails to send text msg..Synchs well with my Android phone, so I'm happy with it.

Best option I've ever used for Android text support on PC. Simple, but gets the job done.

Works as advertised. If you are getting double notifications - you probably have enabled notifications for the pulse SMS website - just turn that off once you have the plugin installed.

Works just as intended, well worth using.

Syncs well, though there is a problem when you pop out the message window. (Note: I am running the latest version of Vivaldi which uses the Chromium engine but is not actually Chrome.) When I start typing, the text above the typing area advances upward very fast and after about 10 characters is completely out of sight! I'm assuming this is a compatibility problem but would be nice to see it fixed. In the meantime, I am not popping window out, but that is suboptimal because if I click away in the midst of a message, it does not save what I have typed thus far.

Beautiful Android app and the extension works great too. Automatic backup of texts is icing on the cake.

So far the best app for synchronizing SMS text between android phone and desktop. It works very fast and reliable. The fee for being able to send SMS from your desktop is very well worth it and a $10.99 lifetime fee is a much better deal than any other app will charge you.

The app is pretty good. I've had only one issue with it. Occasionally when someone sends a pic, it shows me an old one from a different message/person.

So far I'm liking. I use notifications, and only thing I can suggest is an option to, show 'sender' only. I use at work, so I hide the content, and I know some people also likes to hide the sender and that only show "New Message". But for me it would be awesome the option to show ONLY the sender. Thanks and keep up the good work ;)

So far I am liking it. I should be able to give a more in depth review when I have used it more. I'm a little baffled though as to why some messages go through and some do not, but perhaps another week of experimentation will reveal this.

This extension works pretty well. I would love to see a notification counter on the extension, much like ABP does with blocked ads. I would prefer this over the popups that show the messages as it is a bit more discreet. Still giving the system a try from Textra. Will update after 7 day trial is over.

Like other reviewers, I too would like to see a notification for new messages. Otherwise it has worked well for me so far.

Love it! Never fails and is easy to use. Would love it have a message count to show that I have a message waiting. Something discreet.

I haven't had any issues with my messages not syncing (outside of one time where none of my devices were syncing). I would love it if the extension icon had a notification number or something along those lines to let me know a new message is waiting.

I am a little disappointed that the notifications don't appear. I bought this to not have to pull my phone out at work and respond quicker to texts. I like the simplicity and how similar it behaves to the phone app, but I see little value in doing that online without proper notification

Well, it almost works. Sometimes messages don't sync. And I always have to hit 'tab' before I can type in the extension window.

Just like the Pulse App, it does not provide desktop alerts for incoming messages. It's supposed to, but it doesn't work for me.

On Chrome 58, you can't type in it at all (login, messages, etc) unless you pop it out.

Great app and great looking extension. For some reason, though, the extension doesn't let me type unless I press tab first. Is there a fix for this?

I just downloaded the extension and it won't let me type in my info to sign in.

Better than all the similar apps I've used for texting across devices on Android. The only annoying thing is the notifications show the whole text, which can always be a fun surprise when you're giving a presentation and you get texted. If it could hide the message contents it would be perfect.

superb, made the switch from the ever fading hangouts, why google decided to start dropping support and move to split hangout functionality into multiple apps is beyond me, maybe they didn't want us to use their stuff anymore? lol. Anyways, lifetime subscriber within the first hour of using. only thing I'm missing in the phone app is per contact theming and or color picker theming for the app itself. Great Work!

It's a travesty this isn't rated higher. This is 150% better than MightyText. Totally recommend it.

Great app! Does just what I needed it to do.

Loving this so far. Great replacement for the fading hangouts. The only feature I wish it had at this point is the ability to paste images/screen grabs into the text messages.

cannot log in, when I type, nothing show in the line.

After being on a Mac with iPhone for a long time, I find this to be a great match for the Android SMS/MMS application letting me have the "from the computer" texting functionality I was used to with iMessage. This Extension version is basically the same as the App, except all functionality is hidden in a Chrome menu icon dropdown. One thing I've noticed, it's a bit tricky to add an image from this, since it needs to be smaller than 1MB due to MMS restrictions. Also, can't initiate a multi-user/group MMS from Chrome, but I'll add the 5th star when that works.

This is a superb app. I've never had a problem that didn't eventually go away on its own. Before it did, the creator was extremely prompt in returning emails and very helpful. Plus, the pricing plans blow away competition (I'm looking at you, PushBullet).

Update: Able to turn off notifications now so big thumbs up! Still trying to get the Drag and drop MMS to work. Just doesn't seem to want to work. I love that the development is so active on this. I like this. I really, really need to be able to turn off pop up notifications though. Unsubscribing for now until that option is available.

12/13/16 - Added a star now that notification muting was added. Great cross-device text syncing service, and under constant development. Excited to see what comes next. 12/6/16 - Very promising. MUST add ability to mute notifications.

Very cool app extension!

Good start. Gives it a iMessage like functionality. Been waiting for something like this to come on android. but its not fully there yet; 1. Notifications sometimes don't come thru. So that means I wont be able to rely on it completely. 2. Clicking on the notification opens a different pop up window. 3. Clicking on the notification opens the app (or the new window) but doesn't load the message (gets stuck loading) 4. Need to show unread message count / badge. 5. Need notification sounds 6. No need to show a notification when app is running in foreground. 7. Give the option to turn off the notifications.

When I receive a text and with to look at it. it stalls. A lot of the app on phone works well, but the extension needs a bit of work as of 11/17/16. MightyText and Push Bullet seem to be a bit better at the extension portion of the app.

Works pretty good but neither gives me a visual or an audio indication a message came in. I much prefer Pushbullet but it's too expensive. Wish this was as fast and flexible.

Fantastic app, already paid for a lifetime subscription! Only problem i'm having at the moment is the inconsistent notifications. I get notifications if I use this on my laptop, but no notifications on my desktop.

Great app. Still needs work. I wish Google would build this in. A couple suggestions/bugs: - The click behavior is confusing/inconsistent. - No contact photos sync on this extension like on the phone app. - Better customizability like on the Android app. All the funky pre-assigned colors kinda overwhelming. I LOVE the dark and light theme build into the Android app. Thanks!

It works great! It syncs perfect with notifications, which means I don't have to continuously keep checking my phone while I'm on my computer. Keep it up! I also very much love the app

Doesn't import my contacts or conversations so I dont see a use for it.
