I rely on this extension A LOT in Gmail to check on contacts and update them. It is critical. It is a bit quirky sometimes where it complains/mini-crashes for some reason -- not sure why but it pops back quick enough and everything keeps working so I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is just so important for me to log info and have the contact and account info from Salesforce at my fingertips in Gmail.
Overall I like it, however, I just noticed that the "Event Type" is not syncing to Salesforce when I log it from my Gmail. Is there any way to ensure that field is mapped?
We've bee getting positive feedback from our users throughout the years however lately we started to get complaints of users not seeing their SFDC events anymore in gmail. Has anything changed? I'm touching in the dark on how to get this fixed again.
Works great but the option to sync from the Calendar just disappeared today for some reason and not sure why. Would also love to be able to use some custom fields on events from within the interface.

Logging events and email from Google Gmail and calendar to Salesforce is such a time saver and so convenient! Only thing is that the text in the Google calendar description does not pull through with formatting but something resembling HTML coding, which is not ideal when used in Salesforce reports. It would be a great addition if this can be sorted.
What a timesaver! I use this feature everyday to log all my emails related leads/opportunities/accounts.
This really adds a level of convenience to the use of Salesforce with Gmail, particularly with looking up records, associating correct accounts, and logging emails. However, if you have more than one inbox (individual and office accounts, for example) this can get really buggy.
MUST HAVE FOR GMAIL+CRM INTEGRATION! Helps me track client emails for compliance, then can export CRM reports automatically every quarter. Having one-click 'log on send' really saves time.

We transitioned to this from Cirrus Insight and we really like it. Highly customizeable and great to be able to apply different layouts to different roles.

I use this feature everyday to log gmail emails to related leads/opportunities/accounts. Generally I do not create new leads/opp/accounts but for some without automations i could see that being very helpful. For a free program, this is well worth exploring if you're looking to save time while using gmail and salesforce.
It worked flawlessly until some of our salesforce users started encountering the same issue: the save button is greyed out.

Makes logging much easier
At first, the extension, honestly feels a tad intrusive as it does expand to take up considerable real estate in the gmail window. However, after using it for a few months now, this quickly becomes an afterthought since the functionality and serviceability of this extension far outweighs the minor inconvenience. It's been a really great way to keep everything in check and to track client conversations when they communicate outside of Salesforce, which is quite often. I highly recommend this if you are a daily user of Salesforce. Get Gmail set up, get this extension.

Thanks to the Salesforce-Gmail integration. As a Sales AE this makes tracking the opportunities easily comprehensive as the latest conversations can be tracked from within the CRM itself.
I could not do my job if I did not have this extension! I've been using it for 3 years and although at times the API is a little slow its really helpful to log my daily work.
This is a very useful extension! There are occasional hiccups - sometimes it doesn't recognize a contact, very occasionally it logs emails to the wrong place, but most of the time it works really well. I am able to keep much better track of communication than previously.
Fantastic plugin One feature that you should add is the possibility to add a comment to a google meeting when loggin it into Salesforce. As it is now, we have to manually open a meeting and add comments from SF afterwards. (As customers are usually also invited to the meeting, we don't want to add the comment directly in the google-meeting, as they then would see it.)
Setting appointments is seamless with Salesforce Inbox integration and Gmail. It saves me on average 1-3 working days a month!
Very happy with this integration. Quite simple, but does what I need. There are a few things you have to get used to, such as which fields are available when creating a new record from within Gmail, but overall it's great and fairly easy to use. Bottom line, we have WAY more records of our interactions with contacts than we did before using this app.
This makes my life so much easier! IT really works seamlessly. Sometimes there's a little hiccup when it won't recognize someone to log an email but a quick refresh usually clears things up.
This is much easier to use than 3rd party integrations and a lot more manageable as a sales rep. i don't have to carve separate time out of my week to verify all my activity is linking.

So slow it's barely useable. It takes so long to load when I send an email that I get distracted and start doing something else (like writing this review).

Great extension to assist with logging Google Calendar event into Salesforce. However, the recent update appears to have had a diminished the ability to log personal events that do not include invited guests. I would love to see a fix to reinstate this functionality.

I wouldn't be able to function without this integration. It allows an easy flow between gmail and Salesforce without a ton of extra navigation.
The gmail plugin for salesforce is incredible. In fact, it's one of the few parts of Salesforce that is actually intuitive and user-friendly.
This makes working with Salesforce so much smoother for me. I've tried a lot of Gmail plug-ins and this has to rate among the best, which was surprising to me because I'm not typically a big fan of how Salesforce does their products. Nice job on this one ?

Love this due to it's ease of use. Our team has been using this and it's been working well for us alomost immediately upon setup. For any future update to this, I think it would be benefical if it could identify the company in Salesforce automatically from the domain email.

AS a free app it is great, I have a slower Radio based Internet connection and this is the fist synching tool I can actually use. There are occasional reconnects but this is more than likely a Chrome hiccup. I get no appreciable slowdown on my slow connection and the contact lookups are very good. If your using Gmail and Chrome this is a must have.

I like this application a lot just on the feature of "Availability" alone. However, the Chrome Extension often throws an error which requires having to remove it and reinstall it just so it goes through the process of login against Salesforce Okta. For the last week, that has become a daily task which is a simple enough fix but annoying just the same.

The scheduler is amazing.
This is so very helpful for ensuring we're adding our emails to the right records. There are a lot of options for which record we can connect which I appreciate. As someone else mentioned, I have to refresh the whole page every once in awhile to make sure the correct contacts show up. It would be great if it would keep updating in Salesforce whenever the email thread is updated. Now we have anywhere from 2-10 interactions that track the same email thread. It would be easier if it was just one interaction that was updated with each email addition to the thread.
Works fine, but prevents me from attaching files to my gcal meeting invites. I hope this bug gets fixed soon. I have to disable extension, attach, the enable extension again.
It works generally well, I often have to refresh my browser and click through the options a number of times for it to register either the contacts or the account which is time consuming and a bit frustrating over time. Wish there was a way for it to be more consistently functional and easy to log. Love being able to add contacts directly on the margin/ extension!! :)

I have used many products around it. Cirrus Insight, Ebsta, etc. Cirrus insight was the most robust but is a paid product. This is awesome for our needs. It does not tell you if email was opened and links clicked but it is damn good for a free product
This extension does make our staff's lives easier when logging emails, but there are a couple of features it lacks that are pretty difficult: - it requires often refreshing in order to stay connected - it does not work with Google's Advanced Protection Program

I like using this plugin as it saves a lot of time with a few clicks to add my emails where they need to go. I'm not sure if this is a problem with Wavebox, but this plugin likes to disconnect and then just gives an error when I want it back on. 'companyname.my.salesforce.com refused to connect.'
Love this integration - it makes keeping track of our communication with clients easy and allows us to reference these emails later. Only complaint would be that I have to refresh the gmail page every time Salesforce logs out/times out, sometimes twice. Would love it to auto-refresh, if possible, so that it saves even more time!
Very nice extension, very useful. It could be improved by setting the right dates for email attachments. The date shown on salesforce is the date the email was attached, which is not nice.

Increased Production Flow
We came across a user experience issue which significantly reduce the trust of using this plugin. once click "send" on gmail, Salesforce's gmail integration will show a popup window(and this window hide the normal gmail page, since it is the most front layer) to ask if you want to log or cancel, doesn't matter which one we choose to click, user will miss the time to click "undo" from a normal gmail page. So what we can do is to extend the time allowance(30s maximum) to undo an email. 30s is totally not enough to close a popup and then hit the undo. Users will choose to not use plugin if they cannot use undo function on gmail!!!
My company, implemented use of SalesForce to manage emails and customer service and I wouldn't recommend for SalesForce for most offices. It has added complexity, steps, additional work load. The interface isn't as user friendly, it is slower and item are less visible at a glance. Printing emails and attachments is worse than Outlook too. We were capable of just using Outlook fine and I hope we return to Outlook and drop this quick.

pretty easy to configure and use as far as email integration tools go. Works as advertised and quick user adoption.
Very handy. It's great being able to log emails against accounts and contacts but I also find it useful for finding out certain account details. I don't actually have to open SFDC. I can stay in GCAL or GMAIL and get the info I need to do what I need to do there and then. 1up :)
This is not an easy integration to find because I always try to look for it at the mail tool level and as a browser extension it is difficult to locate, but it is well worth finding. This integration does what I need it to do to integrate emails into Salesforce for tracking. The interface is clean and simple. I highly recommend this approach. I've tried a few paid options that fail miserably in comparison.

Good plug-in - works well to smooth some processes. A couple a bugs since the recent update - can no longer add contacts only leads. Also, can't open notes within the plug-in and have to go to salesforce directly, missed opportunity.
