Ive been through way too many GTD apps over the last 6 years, and Todoist is by far my favorite. Its on all my devices including smart watch. My life has improved so much since I've started using it, I'm actually starting to get a little emotional writing this lol seriously! So much love for this app and the people behind it. Wow. Just wow. The extension could be a little "leaner" which might make it a bit faster on open. Other than that, its glorious!

I've combined Todoist with the PomoDoneApp. The system has enabled me to get organized in a way that I haven't been in years. In turn, I feel less anxiety. I can get all those pesky ruminations out my head and into the app, which frees my brain for more creative thinking and keeps me focused at work.

Stable, no bugs, woks as advertised. Still the UX could be improved a bit, e.g. I would suggest moving the "Add website as task" button to the top of the Todoist extension popup window, so one does not need to scroll for a few seconds just to add the website as task in a long list of tasks, but that is just a detail. Otherwise works great.

Good extension, wish there was a way to launch the web browser directly from the extension.

Super handy - really helps me keep track of things I want to save, add a date and category, and get things done from anywhere. Love it!

Love it! It's simple yet aesthetic and I can flair my tasks accordingly by priority and so. With this extension I could access todoist really easily from any webpage so I don't have to get out of my study with me youtube tab in order to get to it! Would reccomend :)

great tool

I like Todoist as a service but this extension has gone downhill lately. It no longer shows the number of items due today on the icon and has considerable synching issues. While the app is up to date on my phone and shows me current information the Chrome extension is showing me stuff from several weeks back as overdue, stuff that has long since been completed.

A little buggy, Todoist overall sometimes doesn't sync thought all different versions of the app. But overall I really enjoy this app and use it every single day.

It is a bit slow because basically the whole Todoist app is displayed in the extension body. Maybe it would be great to consider a lightweight default mode for the extension that caches my categories and labels and allows lightning-fast ability to add the webpage to my to-do list. That's the main use case for me, I only use extension to add a webpage to my to-do. For the rest of the features I use the desktop and mobile apps, I don't need full-fledged Todoist in the extension. I think there are a lot of people with similar use case and it would be very useful for us. You can make it configurable, so a user can select 'start mode' of the extension. For me it will be 'quick add task' view and nothing else and it will be very fast, for others it would be just like it is now - full Todoist app.

It's a great tool!! Makes chores and keeping up with household tasks much easier. I have been able to break large overwhelming jobs into smaller tasks (grouping them together as a project) I actually look forward to tasks coming due - it feels GREAT to mark an item off as completed. The recurring task option is also great. (Changing Kitty Litter, take out the trash, testing smoke detectors etc.) I'd like to be able to say "Hey Siri - Add to task list 'check water softener salt every Saturday) My only complaint is that the window size is too small.

this is specific to the extension not the app in general-I like the ease of downloading the extension and the ability to access it however the window size is not adjustable so I can't view everything as I need to. I also noticed it takes a bit longer than I expected for the computer extension version to sync with the most updated version that I had on my phone. The reason I wanted to make the extension version work is for situations when I'm working on my laptop and need to add web links to my tasks. I hope some improvements will be made in the near future so I can utilize it effectively and easily.

Neat powerful tool that has changed throughout the years to be more welcoming, easy to apply, and pleasant to use. Does it's job perfectly, has integrations with phones, and can be used from anywhere. Also, some features that used to be premium are now accessible to everyone, which is amazing!

This extension makes so many processes more streamlined. I keep my grocery list on ToDoist and then when I do my meal planning and online shopping, I can open it in my browser as I'm making an order. I also love that I can quickly add to my work project lists while I'm working.

helps me with my work, very useful tool. free of ads and when compared, is better than its counterparts. i highly recommend this extention for anybody that wants but doesn't know how to get productive.

Very helpful to be integrated with my Chrome but I find that it takes about 3-4 seconds to load up and there is a somewhat lag when syncing with my phone.

One of the few plug-ins that lasted for more than a year on my PC... Works well, especially the fact that it is supplemented with the App on my phone.

It could be faster to load. Also it crashes everytime Google Chrome starts asking for an update (Which is quite often on a Macbook) I wonder why Dynalist doesn`t experience any of this problems with their extension. I love the desing but maybe it could be simplified so it is more fluid. I could not mind just having the inbox activated if that resulted in more fluidity at the expense of features but if both can be achieved that would be a 5 star rating. I tried the extension on Safari but everytime I click it, the click results in opening Todoist in a new window, which adds friction when maganing a large bulk of tabs. In summary, "Fluidity in tabs management" would be a 5 star rating which currently Dynalist has on my ranking.

So I got this extension yesterday and from what I see it is SUPER good. I have an app that helps me for that but this one I just need to click ONE button and I can see my To-Do List which is great and I can't wait to use this at school. It improves my life I don't need to have tabs open and yeah! I love it how it is! Thank You Todoist!

I use this on my pc as well as the app across all of my apple devices and sync it with my google calendar. It has exponentially increased my productivity and keeps me organized and focused.

I absolutely love Todoist! I have been using it for the last month and its great, I would recommend.

I think the whole point of a task manager chrome extension is to capture the website I'm seeing for later use not having a mini Todoist. It's not hard to open Todoist to see my tasks so why should I need a complete todoist in my browser? Instead, capturing is at least 3 to 5 clicks away.

Love it! has been a very helpful tool for me to organize my work. Able to link it to my other app as well such Gmail, calendar, etc.

This extension does the trick for me. It is useful when I am trying to create a todo-list of school assignments using the url of the assignment. If you are a college student I highly recommend this tool. I also use it at work to create quick todo list items.

A very usefull tool for keeping a track of your tasks. Flexible and the 'free' version is perfectly useable fo a low level use. Obviously, if your work and lifestyle require more features, GBP £48 for a year may well be worth paying for the Pro version.

Like everything else with Todoist, it just works ... and well.

very useful app and the best note app so far... but i wish they could introduce a draft feature, cause sometimes i accidently click out and then i have to write my tasks all over again. I also hope they can introduce a feature which allows us to paste pictures from the web or file.

Simple, lightweight and unintrusive. Exactly as described.

It's very useful for me in organizing my task with priority. More importantly, it updates my Google calendar with those timed tasks as I usually add reminder and appointments on Google calendar.

Love this tool.

It's nice and easy, but it doesn't give an overview of all of the tasks in the dashboard. You need to check the activities that are due ahead manually. But overall, it's pretty good.

Would be 5stars but constant sync issues across browsers vs mobile devices

Excellent tool, the option to create a task straight from a webpage is making my life a lot easier. The combination of project and tag sorting helps me move around through the things I'm working on, which I find more useful than sorting by due dates alone. I ding it down to 4 stars because it's a little slow to open and navigating through the options is not 100% intuitive. Lots of clicking around.

It makes putting things on your todolist very easy and doesn't force you to break concentration. Other task management apps are more powerful and can be customized to workflows better, but the todoist extension is great if you are looking for something simple, efficient, and easy to pick up. I highly recommend it!

So easy, so connected, my entire family loves it I create lists for each of my children that they then get on their phones. They know what's expected and it gets knocked out. I see the progress and can award or motivate as needed. For me, it's just simple. And to be able to go between my laptop and my iphone with ease makes me thrilled!

I've been using Todoist since the start and recently switched to another platform because Todoist took away features that were useful, like the number of tasks in the Chrome icon.

Handy tool to have for quick notes and reminders

It is a very handy and efficient tools. Available on all devices and you can sync tasks between the devices that is something super cool. Definitely boosts up the productivity level. You can easily categories and priorities your tasks and also plan tasks for the future. Supper happy using the app. The only thing that I did not like was the app was constantly pushing me to leave a feedback every time I try to use it. Even though I can close the popup, It is pretty annoying and disturbing.

still have to get used to its interface but it's still a great app! only using the free version but there's a lot of benefits already.

Pop out feature is great. It works like an app than a widget.

Plan today rather than wasting another day. I love its layout and feature, it's clear to plan/see what I need to do.

Very happy with this tool, as it makes my mind work systematically. I'm using it's chrome app and it feels convenient to jot down things every time I browse and get ideas or thoughts in mind.

Turn my tabs into tasks! I have had a habit of leaving tabs open so that I am reminded to go back and check out the content. Be it a review for a product I am researching, an article I'd like to read, or a job application or package that I intend to later check on. Now I just pop open the quick plugin, and slap that URL into a task, and schedule it for a later time. Takes off a bit of stress to allow myself to forget about it until that scheduled time, and not worry that I will forget it.

So far so good. I dont need a todo list thats too complicated. Only need checkboxes that i can check and uncheck. Its working for my needs and maybe ill look into the more detailed features.

Been using Todoist and the Chrome add on for years. It just works. The developers here have done an amazing job keeping this extension working well and doing the job that it is designed to do. It works smoothly and I rarely see any bugs associated with it even as they keep updating it over the years. The hotkeys with it are always the sweeters for me. Keep up the great work!

I really like how flexible it is without being overwhelming. Would be a 6/5 stars if we could format how the iCloud/Google Calendar tasks looked like when integrating them. I usually name my calendar tasks as classname: task name, but Todoist only includes the task name.

Like millions of other users, I use a Chromebook as my exclusive computer (On Chromebooks, you can't install a desktop version of todoist). It would be FANTASTIC if Chromebook users had an option to quickly add tasks without the tasks pre-populating with the current page. As a suggestion, if you updated the chrome extension with an option to quickly add a task WITHOUT populating the task with the current page in the task title, this would completely solve the problem for me (and millions of Chromebook users).

I tried many different to-do apps and extensions. Save yourself the time and go straight for this one. Integrates with everything & let's you take down action items without having to leave your browser window. They nailed it with this & to-doist in general

I've been a big procrastinator my entire life. I'm a full-time college student who always does homework last minute. I recently made the decision to stop being a procrastinator so I started using this app. Visually seeing what I need to do today, and in the future, helps me stay organized and motivated. I'll input simple tasks so I feel more accomplished throughout the day. My brain likes to check off tasks I've done and so far it's working! I'm actually ahead on homework which is nice for a change.

It's Take lot in loading

Pretty simple but functional, would prefer it even simpler, but I can see the value of it being this way for people who have it on multiple devices I'm still biased with emailing, in the famous words of Gennaro Gattuso: "Sometimes may be good, sometimes may be s**t"

Beyond pleased, just started using it this weekend and I can see it can help me organize-to-execute the "File Folder" in my head, very recommended

Helps me stay on track and keep my life in order! So simple, with enough gadgets (syncs across mobile/desktop), deadlines, tags, notes, etc) to customize to my own use! Very reliable over the years.

Combining this with the Andriod todoist which allows me to easily track content I want to consume but don't have time at present and then later on I can check on my phone which article I want to read when I have a dull moment. While it seems like anyone can make a todo app these days, what Todoist does well is that they sync across EVERYTHING!
