Works—but slow, clunky, and not enough "in your face" to notice the note is there at all.
This is an amazing extension! I would love to say that I'm perfectly content with it, but the sync function doesn't work. Sadly, I'm going to have to switch because of that.
Even it was a little bit trickier than I thought, I loved how you arranged the notes! The saving function was really helpful to turn in my homework in google classroom.
Such a beautiful extension..., however, it is buggy! 1_ I select some text from within a website and then right click and choose AnnoPad to take a note of it for me, however, it doesn't. It just opens it up in a pop up. 2_ Even when I copy the text manually and then try to use that pop-up AnnoPad, what happens next is that for some reasons, it sets the URL something like this(instead of the correct URL of that website): "chrome-extension://johjcheghoc..." So for instance if I choose "This website" or "This page", obviously neither would have that note in their lists. Also here are some suggestions: 1_ Add the sync functionality. That is a must really. Because our data is our asset and we do not want to lose them easily. 2_ Remove that big "REMOVE NOTE" button at the bottom right whenever I'm adding a note it's asking me to remove it with its appealing red color! Just use a small icon and the user will find it if they really want to delete a note. Just make note taking as easy as possible. Hope this extension will get better. My stars are just a means of conveying my true feedback to the dear developer and I'm not overlooking their kind efforts on making the world a better place. :)
So far so good. What would make it great? If this could use google sheets as a backend (one sheet per website) so I could share notes on a per site basis with myself or others and use google's controls to manage who got access to read/write. OR Some other sharing methodology.
It doesn't export the formatting so just keep that in mind. Otherwise a very useful app!
this extension is very good but I have a problem now is it limited number of notes ? i have 39 now but i can't add more or edit!!
Exactly what I searched for, thanks! I really miss one feature though. I use this to remind my self about things I need to do when entering a specific website. I would love to be able to turn on notifications (just a little popup), so I remember to read the note before I do anything.
Does not export to text or pdf... documents are blank..
good
I really like this extension. It saves me a lot of time in website building by allowing me to keep snippets of code right in the browser. I wish I could say I Love this extension. "What would make me really Love it?" you ask. I do the same work on two different computers. Sadly the snippets I save in Chrome on my desktop do not synchronize with my laptop. Wouldn't it be great if this notepad would would stay in sync between the two browsers? Of course it would. The whole world would be perfect then.
Very useful. It will be awesome if you have a mobile app to see the saved items on mobile.
nagyon jo!!!!
It didn't make my laptop crash when I tried to write in it so that's good, other than that it was helpful when keeping organized notes.?
Great extension... However does that part at the bottom about getting a new facelift have something to do with getting your account suspended? In other words, can we expect future updates and features or did you check out?
Hi! Great extension! Is it possible for little number on the icon to count notes for current site only? Now it shows total number of notes no matter the site I'm browsing at the moment.
3 stars for its cogent awareness of chrome build Version 45.0.2454.85 m. It seems like a lean machine. I'll be back to change it positive or negative later... Edit: Jan. 6: In Chrome Version 55.0.2883.87, Why doesn't Annopad auto-copy my chosen text after right-clicking and selecting 'Annopad Note' in my right-click menu? I have to go back to the original page and re-copy and then paste into the 'New Annopad note'. Redundant.
surperb.thx.
I was having an error on localhost with JQuery undefined because of this extension, it would be nice to have it fixed.
simple and perfect
WOW, I was looking for something like this for a long time. Its more than just a bookmarking tool, I can also create notes with bookmark and that's what i wanted.
One of the best tools I've seen!
This is great! I've always wanted to leave notes for different websites and I had to make different word documents. With this extension you can add a note to the websites you visit and go back when you want. I wish I knew about this when I was doing my research papers in grad school. This will definitely come handy for anyone who uses their computer to go on the web.
Best bookmarking extension. Very user friendly. I do a lot of research for work and this is a great tool for me to remember every detail.
great took,, i love it, adding a note in a bookmark totally help you know the reason why you bookmark that website, helps a lot and saves a lot of time, great tool :D
best bookmarking extension I have used. Much better than pocket
Helpful plug-in. Love it especially when I need to jot notes down for deal sites. =)
This is great!!!! Such a good idea!
Very user friendly extension that helps us with remembering everything we want to remember with each website.
Love this. Bookmarking has always been a hassle for me. This is the best tool i've found.
Great bookmarking tool!!
Great extension. A really simple and easy to use extension that makes taking website specific notes a cinch.
I love this idea. Finally, you can leave notes on websites that are saved when you return and are downloadable. Nice.
Great Application. Replacing my pocket extension.
. Rough around the edges, but still very useful. . The DataRat .
It would be great to be able to to move and re-size the notes visually like "Sticky Notes Collector" However, the ability to search on page and by page (or site) is great. I've made the opposite suggestion to SNC. I really need both, and so will give 5-stars and a donation to whoever is willing to implement the changes, and delete the competitor.
Found on Firefox first, Chrome version has more features. But love both.
Found on Reddit. It has been a true lifehack, love it.
'-' it just don't work for me why ??!!
helpful
clean and useful software .
I wish it would synchronize across browsers, and have the links available via a webpage...
clean and useful software that will allow you to manage your useful information.
너무 좋아요. 근데 백업은 어떻게 하죠?
Exactly what I was looking for.
I like the idea! (:
useful extension..i have just added it and started using it, i keep exporting my bookmarks from mozilla to chrome, instead now i can make notes on the bookmarks and export them to text or pdf
I have used this for the past week or so, and it has been great. I switched from Evernote since this seems to be a lot more simple.
Very helpful!
For all internet junkies, like myself, this is the real deal. I bookmark around 10 website URLs daily. And after a week or so, when I go through my bookmarks, there are some links that I don't know why are in my bookmarks. AnnoPad will enable you to add notes to all of your bookmarks, so you remember why you bookmarked certain link. I've been using AnnoPad for a week and I'm extremely satisfied. It is simple, useful and it doesn't slow down my Chrome. Perfect Chrome Extension!
I've been looking for a plugin like this for a while. I wanted something that doesn't require account, saves pages and notes in one place. I've been using a bookmark hack to just get a nice clean notepad but it's doesn't keep track of where the notes come from. Some of the other plugins are way too 'heavy' and there are too many features. This is perfect...I take a note on a page and it saves it. So simple yet so effective.
It has made book marking so much easier! It also helps with note taking on the web. Fantastic.
