Once it was great, but now simply isn't working. Tried to track my e-mail sent from one Google account to another (mine as well) — nothing happened; the e-mail is marked as not opened. Just useless extension.

What has happened???? I used to LOVE Bananatag. It worked great and gave me quick and accurate results. No problems for over a year. Now it immediately sends me an open notification for every email I send. It is within 5 seconds of me sending the email. It shows my city as the open location. Reached out to support and they said this error you are seeing is attached to what we call 'Self Opens'. I said ok well how do we fix that. I was told the developers are aware and there will be an update to fix it eventually. Mean time I am paying for a service that is completely useless. And worse than useless it is annoying as hell. I am in the process now of reading reviews on competitors so I can switch to one that works.

DOES NOT WORK. Keeps sending me to my Microsoft email account to validate and nothing happens... So frustrating.

Loved Bananatag when I started using it since 2018. Then I don't know what happened in 2019 but it's absolutely terrible now. Unreliable mostly. Don't know if it's because Google Chrome keeps updating or Bananatag has bugs, but it's not what it used to be and it frustrates me more than it needs to. Am still on the free 5 tracks per day because they have not convinced me that it works well enough for me to spend the money. My frustration levels would be higher if I had paid for this. Have been actively looking for alternatives but still have the free 5 per day extension until I find better. Bananatag, do better Stop trying to sell your product before it's foolproof.

Makes you sign in alot to gmail. Right now is not showing up the checkbox to track at all. When it works it's awesome. Trying to uninstall/Install now.

Loved it! But, Chrome just disabled it. Now what???

Says "Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app This app has not yet been verified by Google in order to use Google Sign in." when you try and authorize the plugin in Gmail. Essentially useless now.

Basically useless right now . I did like it until it stopped working on Gmail though. You just get this error message "This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In."

They fixed the overlay nightmare, GREAT! Now it's time to reconsider the send later panel as well. Just use Boomerang as a reference, that's simple ;)

Seems to be an excellent tool. Please make it work with New Gmail. Seems if the sender/receiver is on New Gmail, it doesnt do anything, except i think the links.

I can follow up on sent emails, know when it was delivered and opened. No more, 'I did not recieve the email'.

Need to put "2" even so the app was working good... till it stopped working at all. One day the chrome add-on just greyed out, stopped working even when it was "on" in Chrome add-on window. So i tried to re-install it. When the feedback about the error window popped out, it was not working also when tried to send the feedback about the error o_O

Over the past 24 hours you can't read what you are typing as the options cover the email body. Please change back.

Pretty frustrated. I thought this looked like the perfect solution but it's very difficult to eaily edit and delete the templates. For instance you can't seem to delete them, I googled and they say to create a folder called trash. Great! But then you realize you can't MOVE the templates either to put them in the trash. I really like this plug in and will change my star rating to 5 but I need feedback and help please!

unable to send email the same as brad matthews reported. this is a problem. tried to remove the extension with problems.

Unable to send email once installed unless I uncheck the track box.

i get notifications that an email was "opened" immediately upon sending it. suspecting something was wrong i sent several emails to other email accounts i have and still got "opened" notifications though i know i didn't open them. completely defeats the purpose.

Useful extension. One suggestion for improvement: make Bananatag preferences/settings (Tracking Checkbox, Track Links, CRM Checkbox) follow the user/email, so it isn't necessary to set these every time after installing the extension.

It is added to chrome but I cannot reopen or remove the app.

Absolutely the best free version (and possibly also from the paid ones)! Have been using it for over a year now, after I tried a few of these applications, and this is definitely the best I tried. I love the email templates.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t. I switched to another extension that’s way more consistent.

Didn't send my scheduled emails. They were all left in my drafts folder and never sent. Also, Bananatag sends me an email for every notification?! My inbox is clogged enough as it is. I'm reverting back to Yesware

Useful extension! The only disadvantage is you can not track in the BCC list. But it is still OKay. I like it!

Better than Boomerang, MailTrack, Mail2Cloud, UI differentiates. Get detail on location, IP address and OS of recipient. Great!

Use to work. Now, it doesn't even show up when I try to install. Works great when working. But, taking all this time to figure out how to use it is too time consuming.

works perfectly i had to uninstal and reinstal after the last update to get it to work right again... i wish there was a email retrieval feature though...

Horrible. It used to work a few months ago. But now, they did some kind of upgrade that blocks me from signing into my e-mail easily.

Great extension and the attachment tracking could prove invaluable. However, it seems difficult to upload the attachments and sometime the recipient does not receive the attachment? Am I doing something wrong? I hope this gets sorted soon......

Can't get attachment tracking to work after upgrade. Could be a Win10 issue.

I can't live without this extension. And it's so good, I really don't like telling my friends and clients about it... I don't want them to know that I know how they're interacting with my emails. I'll probably upgrade to the pro version soon.

I use this all the time on all my e-mails. I am in the auto body repair business and I NEED to know when any particular insurance company gets and opens my e-mail to them. I can document that they received it. I couldn't do without it.

Very useful extension, now even more-so

I use Bananatag tracking in my daily personal emails and love it! The new Snooze button works as a great reminder, so much better then just flagging it and hoping I remember to check it later!

Been using Bananatag 2-3 years. It is so valuable to know that your email has been opened and also see what links are clicked on.

This is such a handy tool. I work in a school district that uses GAFE. This works well to meet my needs. I'm looking forward to trying the Snooze tool. I'll give it five stars when it easily tells me who opened my emails when I send to multiple addresses. For now, I give it 4 stars.

Not accurate. Sometime works, sometimes not. If you send to multiple addresses, you will not know who receive the e-mail.

I've been using Bananatag for over a year now. It is great for contact management but it is also great for protecting yourself from romance scammers. I was able to verify the person I was talking to was using a bogus account thanks to Bananatag Rick Stoneking Sr.
