So yeah as of this date, it blocks the ads without exception, just it also blocks the visual, you get audio just no picture.

as of writing, for those concerned, it is slowly not working on Youtube. it's not like it's ineffective, but in the past few weeks i've noticed more and more instances where the ads aren't being blocked. this has been a great experience in the year or more that i've had it. i couldn't have gotten more of what i wanted if i paid for it.... and i've paid for services that don't come close to something like this ad blocker. get it. it works. i've known it to have these moments before, it will probably be fixed/updated. but youtube have done something where the adverts can mostly, just play..... however, it certainly does clean up the timelines of videos, saving you from 1 minute or more of dumb sales pitches we're never going to get. the ext. is great. these small hiccups aren't doing any favours but they're just hiccups. get it if you need one.

It's extremely handy but when I need to turn it off there's no real easy way to do it and sometimes it'll just not work ether and I'll still see adds when I don't want to

Im just giving it a poor review because it simply doesnt work. When I open up YouTube and click on a video the ad still pops up.

If you're wondering about Youtube ads, it makes it so that it doesnt show them and instead immediately allows you to skip it without waiting 5 seconds. Any website pop-up ads are blocked aswell. Very good adblocker and definitely worth a download.

A very good extension that blocks literally everything

The best ad blocker that I've ever used! The UI is perfect with a simple on/off button! (I'm not sure why other people are having issues. I've been using this as long as I can remember.)

Started off good, still works flawlessly on some sites. however the ads have seeped through on youtube, you dont "see an ad" but you see the "ad space" on videos, and have "ad breaks" with a blank screen. this has only seemed to happen recently (last 1-2 weeks) there are other plugins out there that will prevent the youtube ads, ditch this one

Today i went on crunchyroll and it didnt block the ads. I mean, it works on Youtube, but i thought it would block any ad on every website? Now, probably like a month ago, it did block the crunchyroll ads and i enjoyed it. But now i guess its broken. Please please please fix it i really want to continue using your extension but i might uninstall it because of all the reviews. Im afraid it might actually be a virus. The reviews that says that its amazing and great and wonderful are from a long time ago but i need peoples reviews that are in this present time. Ill check back on the extension in probably a month and ill consider if ill re-install it depending on the reviews. Thank you.

ok i knew the reviews said it was bad so i ran a test, and right of the bat it said there was 89 adds on a google doc that's just bull. i think that this is a virus pls dont trust it!

cant distinguish ads and comment section in youtube. makes the comment section disappear in youtube

It works for me on youtube but it didnt work on other sites for me eg. crunchyroll I also had to manually skip ads but I guess I didnt have to watch it.

It's free, it works, and blocks things you want to block. Basically Unicorn Blocker but for Chrome and much more. I recommend you get it

Doesn't get rid of everything, but it functions on the most annoying stuff, I mostly use it when i'm listening to music on youtube. I feel kind of bad about this, but the only reason I'm not giving five stars is because I don't trust five star reviews on chrome, their usually just bots and I put this review here because I look at what people say to determine if an extension works. Anyways I'd suggest this, happy travels (or not cuz of covid n all).

Don't listen to the negative reviews. This is an awesome ad blocker been using it for like a year now. I have had no problems. Everyone that says otherwise is either doesn't have a clue what they are doing or their computer is bad.

This app made my computer REALLLY laggy. Ig you are reading this DO NOT GET THIS. my computer opens up chrome in a second usally and with this it loaded in like 10 SECONDS

Doesn't block ads. It used to work almost flawlessly for about a year, but for the past month it hasn't done anything. I did everything that people have told me to do. Still doesn't work. This blocker is WACK.

This ad blocker assured me when I installed it that YouTube videos will be played without a ad .But recently I played a Youtube video and I think my ad blocker let spotify play there ad. I downloaded this to watch JoJo on Crunchyroll without ads, and to watch YouTube without ads. It worked for a bit, but has suddenly stopped blocking ads for no apparent reason. I can't find anything wrong with it in the settings, it just appears to have given up. Furthermore, it's now preventing YouTube recording watch history

It worked for a few months, however eventually i started causing my YouTube to stop recording watch history, even though my YouTube settings had it set to record. I removed it today, and it started recording watch history for the first time in weeks.

Blocks ads kinda still has a second of black screen where one would be and now it stops YT watch history from updating.

I always listen to music while playing video games, this just made it easier for me to listen and not have to constantly tab out just to skip and ad.

works really well, but recently youtube gives me a playback error message thats almost as long as the ad itself. i tried restarting and updating but it didnt work. this didnt happen before

It's nice, I got it because I didn't like YouTube pop up ads, but it got rid of ads entirely even the mid video ads so yeah its pretty good and my favorite ad blocker

This extension works great! I have had no problems with it.

At first it did the job, but after a little while my computer seriously slowed way down and was functioning terribly. It was unbearable, and after a little investigation I realized that it was because of this extension. As soon as I deleted this adblocker, my laptop ran cherry. Downloaded another adblocker that had better reviews and couldn't be happier. I wouldn't suggest this extension at all to anyone, unless you actually do want the videos you're watching to not play and the websites you visit to crash.

I'm sorry but I genuinely do not know how this plugin was installed. I build websites and (sadly) need to see ads. I spent a good 30 minutes puzzled why some elements were missing from a website, only to find this plugin at the end of my extension list. I am worried it was installed by some malware or secretly by some other program I installed to my computer. Nobody else has access to my computer or google account, so that's pretty much my only lead. And I don't like it.

Was having problem of pressing images/websites after a google search and having a new 'Bing' tab opening without permission. However, the 'Bing' page, although similar, was not the legitimate Bing page (searching up the official Bing highlighted some differences between pages). This fraudulent page also and had dating site advertisements dispersed throughout and felt malicious.

I really enjoy turning off the ad blocker and seeing how much of a difference it really makes. This product is my favorite for browsing articles and videos on the inter webs.

This program does what it says. Ad Blocker. this program works. very easy to use and actually works. I can tell the difference by the way my computer is not always trying to buffer.
