did not work

I used to love this and it worked perfectly.. Now it put the word instead of punctuation (periods, commas,etc) I'm sooo frustrated! Change it back!

It worked great until recently period it used to change punctuation prompts to actual punctuations symbols comma but now as you can see here comma it not adds those prompts as actual words period so it makes it awfully difficult to dictate without having to go back and doing some strenuous editing comma which defeats the entire purpose period

Used to be great, now not so much. I've used this plugin with great success for almost a year but recently it started ignoring punctuation like "period" and "comma". This makes the plugin useless for me now. I submitted a bug report but that has been ignored.

I love this extension it's one of the best extensions that I've ever come across in my whole life it makes my work so much easier I find it's extremely accurate but recently it has stopped doing punctuation which I find very frustrating but other than that this is awesome extension

Inaccurate, clunky, and doesn't detect punctuation. Steaming hot pile of garbage.

Extreme low end accuracy. Punctuations are a mess. This save me negative time as I have to go back and fix the entire block of text.

Garbage. Does not work for me

Audio captures are accurate but the program needs a lot of improvements, There is no way to scroll down easily. When I am at multiscreen and put the window of the extension on the side or just make it small, it will stop scrolling down when the text box display is full. large space is wasted at the bottom portion of the extension displaying instructions too. update: TOTAL TRASH ON MAC. Won't work!!!!

Garbage don't even work

Yess!! A simple, straightforward interface with highly accurate TTS results... TTS is then auto-highlighted so pasting anywhere is a breeze! Plus that it supports MANY languages-- it is also accurate in transcribing non native speakers. I would love enhancements, such as integrated function for 'backspace' 'delete' and 'spellcheck, but this extension is worthy of 5 stars completely as is!

I'm really dyslexic and I love this program is so nice to use not like all of the other programs for dyslexic people It's easy to use and free Would recommend to dyslexic friends PS I use a studio microphone with this program. So your mileage may vary

I wish I could use the extension to dictate this review. It doesn't work as a Vivaldi Browser extension. However, it worked with Chrome to dictate voice to text directly into Google Keep docs and also Google Documents. So thats a good thing. There is a delay (for me) but not too bad.

I like how it has a lot of language

Simple enough to use. Very good for students who are struggling with penmenship/dyslexia. The highlighted existing text deleting when you start recording again is fairly annoying and would change. No complaints other than that!

I said shawarma and it thought I said a** warmer. Other than that really useful, especially if you've got an injured finger. Would recommend.

Can only type in its own window and doesn't support Arabic language.

Not sure why people are hating on this extension, especially since there aren't too many other choices out there and the extension works great. I like it. So far, so good, anyway.

This extension helped me complete some long form writing assignments in a timely manner. However, it did cause MAJOR levels of frustration by deleting the existing text if I clicked on the microphone symbol to start listening again. More than a dozen times I lost large portions of writing as I was deep in thought, would place the cursor where I wanted to add a line or two only to have the whole thing wiped out because I forgot about this drawback. PLEASE FIX THIS.

I couldn't make it work at all. I speak fairly standard UK English but it seems to not understand anything. It would be a huge time waster. I would spend more time correcting what it misheard, than it would have taken me to just type it in the first place.

It doesn't have perfect voice recognition as some people claim. In addition, it stops voice recognition after about three to four minutes.

Absolutely Pathetic. Cannot fathom any sentence I'm saying. Not the option to edit the text either. Worst experience

This is the best speech to text extension for Chrome. Most of my favourite part about this software is that it supports various languages in various region. I am now typing the review in this extension. Many many thanks to the developer.

not much useful... previously wrong speeched worrds can not be delated

Love it, i'm using for voice chat to knowing what other people talk with the text, maybe it's more good if you can add ability to directly translate to other language. also add scrollbar to output text plz, and smaller the height of the console

Absolute fail. Didnt work at all. I wish I could give negative stars.

It doesn't recognize the back-and-forth nature of dialogue. It just transcribes one long stream of words instead of detecting breaks in speech and dropping down to the next line accordingly.

Didn't understand half of the words I said, extremely infuriating having to repeat the same sentence 20+ more times before it finally understands.

Unfortunately it doesn't work on this page or others such as Quora. However it does work and its own text box.

brillaint app bit of a risk of deleting what you read but its fantastic these people need a knighthood for this

I liked it because it understood most of the things I was trying to say HOWEVER I hated that when I pressed the microphone to add more of what I was saying It ERASED EVERYTHING and now I have no way of getting it back. This made me furious so maybe you should add a history revise or something like that so someone can restore their work or maybe a feature WHERE IT DOESN'T DO THAT. Thank you for your time

AMAZING! helped with notes so i don't have to spend 15 minutes writing them down. accurate speech recognition with very few mistakes, would definitely recommend
