It is disabling the SpaceBar Scrolling... but it also disable the Spacebar when typing on some kind of text-boxes, for example, the Youtube comments. But... I found a solution that seems to work perfectly! 1. If you haven't installed the "Tampermonkey" extension, do it first. 2. Then, go to greasyfork.org and search for the script named "Prevent Spacebar Doing Page Down" and install it. 3. Enjoy. If you are the NoScroll's Author, maybe you should take a look at this script. It might help you to fix your extension.
Works like a charm
Disables spacebar scrolling as advertised, but causes strange issues in some text forms. Pressing space does not enter a space in the text, but pressing space multiple times followed by backspace moves the cursor and reveals the spaces. Attempting to move the cursor manually without pressing backspace does not reveal spaces.
The space-bar fails to function properly when typing a comment or post within Groups on FaceBook. Disabling this extension (NoScroll 1.5) and restarting browser fixes this issue. Chromium Version 43.0.2357.130 Built on Ubuntu 14.04, running on Netrunner 14.1 (64-bit)
