Not working. Doesn't clean up the url. Checked on several google searches to begin with.
doesnt work
Works great.
Does nothing. Uninstalled
Thank you for taking the time to create this extension and making it available for free. This is an awesome addon and it works good!
How do we check if it works? I know that if I click on a Facebook link to a news story, it still seems to have tokens in the URL...
Took a look at the code, seems safe and probably won't be trying to steal any of the data on your website, unless some malicious party attempts to steal/hack/buy this extension see publicly available code at: https://github.com/jparise/chrome-utm-stripper/blob/master/background.js
Superb. It works like charm. Well done developer.
It does remove a number of utm_* tokens, but does not remove utm_brand or utm_mailing
How about an option to temporarily disable, per page and/or completely?
So far so good, I hate those tokens. Will let you know if I find any bugs
It's exactly what I'd been looking for all my life. I hate utm_ tags with a passion. Thank you! v2.0 seems to work, but I'll report back with any issues if I find them in the next few days. If you don't hear from me, it's working great.
I like the concept of this extension, and actually used it for a while... but it interacts very badly with Buzzfeed pages, so I had to disable it.
Doesn't take advantage of the history API so it creates a new state instead of replacing the old one. Also breaks buzzfeed.
it works god.i let the webpage refresh then ?utm**** is away
toppy
Pretty much breaks the BACK button.
useless, only strips the tokens _after_ visit, not before.
this is an awesome app
Prevented me logging on to my Bank
/Thank/ you.
