Worked for me until i had to reinstall, to replace it i am using another extension, autocontrol.
Takes a while for it to start working, just give it a bit of time and restart the browser perhaps.
woks on ms edge win11 (required a browser restart after installing)
As with another copy link exrt., then at least in Vivaldi (which also is Chromium based but overall better than Chrome) when I find your icon and left click on Copy link then it takes me to this page. Also, while if it worked it would be more useful than the default on current page, yet there is no right click option even on the active tab (although the icon that you need to find to use this is very visible with a dark theme) but I was looking for an ext. that would provide a right click copy link for any inactive tabs, which option seems to be forbidden. One must access a tab to copy the link, versus in Firefox with the Copy Url to clipboard ext. Sorry, but thanks anyway and grace and peace thru Jesus the Lord.
Working! Just need to restart the browser or restart the pc.
Wish it worked. Made sure to enable 'Allow access to file URLs' in the settings but no go. Really unfortunate.

Finally got it working on 86.0.4240.80 mac on regular sites. But it doesn't work on discord desktop. If anyone has any ideas on how to make it work. It would really appreciated.

This WORKS in 2020 on Windows 10 with Chrome v.79.0.3945.130 You have to check both the "Read and change all your data on the websites you visit" and "Allow access to file URLs" settings.

Try this if it is not working. 1. Allow access to file URLs 2. Clear cache After doing this it is WORKING PERFECTLY for me.

Great idea in theory, unfortunately it's hit or miss at best. And frustrating to keep pasting to see if it actually copied. Yes, I am making sure the cursor is not selected on anything prior.
Others have written this doesn't work, but I found that it does but you have to turn on "Allow access to file URLs." It should be noted more prominently in this web store page so people know it's not a broken extension.
It doesn't work in mac os.
It works but interrupts with other activities. For example when you click in a text box to write something, cursor appears in it. Then if you move your mouse away from that text box, the cursor automatically disappears and focus is changed to something else. So in order to write in text box, you have to keep your mouse in that text box.
The right click "copy link address" option seems to have disappeared in the latest v67 beta. Please fix.
Excellent! Works 95% of the time for me in 64.0.3282.186 on OSX 10.12.6. Sometimes I have to refresh the page or copy something else to clipboard first and then it will work flawlessly after that.

Running Windows 7, doesn't do anything at all for me.. gotta love the irony of wasting even more time by attempting to save time though.
Does the job, but it really gets in the way on facebook - hovering any link takes me away from where I'm typing (it only disables itself if text is selected, not if the typing cursor is active). Also, I had some issues around when I first installed it.

Working fine for me on iOS. I did notice that when I installed it, it wasn't actually turned on. If that's your issue, click the icon to the right of the address bar, and click 'Manage Extensions'. From there, you just need to check 'Allow access to file URLs'. Saved me a ton of time, thank you developer!!

This extension is not being updated or fixed and I do not recommend using it. It also DOES NOT WORK IN LINUX - see my report in the support tab.

Great Idea... but doesn't work!
Extension does not work. If you right click on a link and hit 'E' on the keyboard, the link will be copied to the clipboard.

When I paste the result into a Google Spreadsheet it also pastes a gray background. Is it grabbing HTML? It would be a much better product if it simply grabbed the URL in plain text.

Love the principle but doesn't work on chromebook
Works well for me. You have to make sure that you have the browser as your active window before using it.

Good but unfortunately really unusable because of the (known issue) cursor in textboxes losing focus when mouse is hovering on a link.. this is really annoying...

I loved it! I was expecting a bug like when I selected text and it will copy the hovering link instead, but it does not! It copy the selected text. And it can also copy the links from images not just texts. So again I was expecting a bug like when I copy nothing from the image and it will clear my clipboard, yet again it does not and kindly make a notification sound that I copied nothing from the image. This makes me download files with JDownloader more easily! (Just copy link, JDownloader copy link automatically from clipboard, download that link) Sry for my bad English grammar. The point of me is to explain that I am a programmer and I proved this extension has less to no bug at all and useful for fast links copying. A must for link copier! Thanks for thoughtful author of this extension! It is useful and bugless btw.
