Any chance for an update to fix issue on Macs? Multiple people I know have issue with no download window popping up randomly. Sometimes reinstalling Chrome and the extensions fixes it. This is on recent M1 macbooks. Please fix, this app is so good to be forgotten.

Love it, but the download popup window could be checked because the file list of the torrent is not the same as in the UI shows up. I mean when I unclick one of the files I don't want to download but the other file went to the list so misdownloaded that file. Etc: Movie_folder: - movie.mkv - movie_album.png I unclicked the picture and started the download of the movie but only picture downloaded and the movie halted back. That's the only thing I found otherwise it's a very useful extension! Thanks!

Extension is great, but why does your extension need access to my browsing history? - "Permissions: Read your browsing history"

tried installing 3 extensions to remotely connect to transmission on my nas. this was the only one that worked! (without much fuss anyway)

Doesn't work with private torrents, and "Upload basked" doesn't seem to work either.

Easy to set up and flexible

Works perfect, recommended for OSMC or LibreElec media setup with Transmission torrent client.

It's click-to-transmission fails on links with certain characters/spaces in them. It was also having troubles on private tracker torrents to directly add links/torrents from the websites. Should be downlaoding the torrent, and uploading that .torrent file (providing an option for that would be great :) )

Work perfectly on torrent but not magnet link. I'd give it 5 stars if magnet link is works XDDD

This is an awesome extension. After a little bit of fooling around, it works great with Transmission-daemon on OSMC (raspberry pi)

Excellent!!! I just wish if I can download everything like that, not just torrents. Right click on link and "Download with remote transmission" will eat up your memory on NAS if the link is not torrent. Now I need to keep my download station just because of other downloads. Other then that this is best tool ever.

If you have had the issues where it wouldn't save settings, you need to remove the extension and re-add it to Chrome for the bug to go away.

It used to work perfectly, but now it keeps on resetting itself to default values (localhost). I am tired of inputting my server's details, please fix it or suggest a workaround. I'll be glad to give more stars if the problem is fixed

Why do I have to have the popup enabled for this to send torrents if the torrent is in a private website

It is almost perfect :) Worked for me OOB, but if I untick the popup, every attempt to add a new torrent fails.. would be better if that'd work too :)

Works pretty well, but the popup from clicking the icon is chopped off (won't show up full size). Not sure what the deal is but it's pretty much unusable from the popup. I have to go to the Transmission Web UI to see them download.

excellent! just managed to get an asus router and to fit it with tomato firmware. the transmission included is great, but since it does not support some `watch folder` feature, adding torrents was a real pain behind.. so, remote transmission ++ is one of those brilliant adds which are making your life easier. thanks, Yoda, may the force be with you ;)

works great . But downloads popup made the add from right click faild. Unchek popup in options , everything works.

I've tried some similar extensions and this is the only one that actually found my server which uses a dynamic DNS service. Great! Minus one star because intercepting clicks on torrent links doesn't seem to work, but the context menu does. Also, it sometimes shows duplicates in the list for newly added transfers.

I've been using this extension for about 9 months without issue. However I know want to have multiple folders for different types of files. I setup 3 folders but I have the same problem as Kienan in that the dialog box is empty.

Unlike other transmission extensions, this one actually works. Excellent.

there's a bug in this extension. My remote transmission instance runs on my NAS, and simply dumps the content into a common folder for re-sorting. the issue is that when you click on a magnet link/torrent file, and the dialog comes up asking where to save it to, the combo box is empty. still useful for monitoring torrents, but the handling function of this extension needs a little bit of work. It should be noted that there are quite a few people reporting this bug.

i remember that folder selection used to work earlier, seem lyk its not working. Otherwise, fab app :)

I can't get the Location dialog to set the folder. I setup custom folders in the options but there is no drop down menu to select them when you click on the Magnet or Torrent link.

Tried out the 2 other transmission extensions. This one seems to be the most featureful with a clean UI. Thanks for your work. Two things I would love to have in this: 1. A 'Pause All' / 'Resume All' (toggle) button. This is very handy when you have to pause momentarily. 2. Switching between the views ('Downloading', 'Paused' ..) using tabs instead of a drop-down. Tabs are much easier to use (at the cost of UI real estate), especially when you switch often.

The only extension next to the official google ones that i actually use daily - superb! And thanks a million for making it open source!

It's fine but the location dialog almost never works. If it did, it would be a 5 star.

My favourite Transmission remote :) The best thing is how it automagically redirects .torrent and magnet: links to the remote server.

Thanks for taking over this. There is a bug on mine where I can't add the Custom Directory (on the "location" part of the options). I write the info, click the add button but nothing happens.

Works very good, 1 req. though, If you get spare time to make a counter to overlay the icon to see how many tor. u are downloading and uploading (something similar to .torrent to Transmission) :-) Thanx for resuming work on this nice extention...
