so far seems that works perfect. Also don't have this issue with pausing video while typing space bar in comments as some stated.

it doesnt work in full mode
Pauses/unpauses when I hit space while writing comments. Also Please please PLEASE make it work for the left and right buttons too. I can pause it but not fast forward or rewind.
Why youtube doesn't script this into their page is beyond me. Great job!
It'd be nice if it disabled when you scrolled down (or if it were easier to toggle), because if you try to write a comment, you can't put spaces in it. (Yeah, yeah, YouTube commenters are the worst, but sometimes I want to make a constructive comment directed to the maker of the video).

It's always pauses the video, but it's very inconsistent getting the focus onto the player.

This is exactly what I needed! No matter how many times I do this and remember that it does work on Youtube, I still do it. It's too well ingrained, I guess. Also, why the hell would I scroll with my spacebar when I have arrow keys, page up/down, a scroll wheel, et cetera? It works as described. Pressing the spacebar pauses a playing Youtube video or plays a paused Youtube video without scrolling the page.
Yes it pauses, but it ALSO scrolls the page!
