Absolutely useless extension. Native Chrome function "Recently closed tabs" work the same. Only 25 last closed tabs without any setting for increasing the number of tabs.

Small and simple. A shortcut and a search bar that includes history: that's all I need.
Fully agree with Jess San Nicolas - I followed the same track to this extension. This extension works, it works even perfectly. The layout is simple and straightforward. It also synchronises perfectly the closed tabs between my Win10 notebook, Win7 PC and Android phone, but shows the closed tabs of the current device first - which is intuitive and logical. Minor improvement: a possibility to swap the day and month, to show 20/3/2019 instead of 3/20/2019 (either based on a setting, or derived from Chrome and the OS regional settings). Saved the day! My computer restarted, and I had about 36 tabs open in Chrome that I was working on. They were all lost! Recent Tabs restored them all with one click. I wasn't really sure what I was clicking on though. The UI could be polished a little, but I'm so glad for this Chrome extension to exist

Finally you've fixed (removed) counter. Search added. It's close to perfect. The only closed-tabs-extension which uses Chrome history (not some internal list).
Would be perfect if I could select and open one of the tabs with the arrow and enter keys.

I had used Simple undo closed tabs, which use to be sexy undo closed tabs for years now, but noticed that it does not keep the history of the tab when you reopen that tab. With this extension, they fixed that and I can confirm that it works flawlessly. So say I clicked through 10 web pages in a single tab, if I close that tab, and reopen it with this extension, I can hit the back button and it will show me the last 10 web pages I visited on that page before closing it. Great job developer! Looks like this is the new king of the closed tab extensions. My only problem is the name of this extension. I think it should be called... "King Undo Close Tabs w/ History" If the developer changed the name I believe this will be one of most installed extensions out there.
It has no configuration options of any kind, but it's literally the only extension of it's kind that I can find that uses the history that chrome keeps, thus keeping all of the history for closed tabs intact. If I go through 5 different links on different websites linking to the next, and then close a tab, this allows me to get the tab back and go to any one of the previous sites, while all of the other undo closed tabs extensions simply don't. I switched from FireFox a while back, and was disappointed about losing that functionality from the extension I had there, so I'm glad to have it back.
Great extension. The only one I found with browsing history when reopening the tab! Tab opens exactly where I closed it keeping my OCD happy!

I don't know why his extension has such poor reviews. It clearly says in the overview and details that the dev channel version of Chrome is needed for this to work. But I'm going to try to do my part to undo that, however little that is. This extension did exactly what I was looking for. All the other undo tab extensions out there just keep track of the last page in the tab and not the history of the tab. Firefox keeps track of tab history, and Chrome does so for some recently closed tabs, but Chrome often fails on me and just keeps track of the browser's history instead of the closed tabs. This extension makes sure that when I accidentally close a window, I can get all the tabs back - And their history!! This extension definitely deserves better reviews than it has received thus far.
