Really cool. Does what it says it does. The writing on Medium, in some cases, is good enough that it's worth fighting for and/or paying for - whatever the case may be. In addition to this extension I use another extension called Readup which removes all the social icons and bloat on Medium and has a nice community in the comments. Long live the indie web!

Very useful, but that giant top bar is sticky again and the extension is not hiding it anymore :(
Wow. Medium.com has the most obnoxious popups I've seen on the internet. If I were a webmaster there I would be afraid to show myself in public. The fact that this plugin exists AND that it is widely regarded as a life saver says it all. Too bad people keep putting content on medium.com and that medium.com keeps pretending everything is fine. Thank you for this plugin.

Reading a Medium website is like getting waterboarded by banners. This extension removes both the water and the cloth, allowing you to breathe again.

Thank goodness this exists. Medium.com chasing various forms of "engagement" which block actual reading are making for a very poor experience.
Thanks for this. Found it while I was considering writing my own. Makes Medium less annoying to use for sure. Having checkboxes you can't uncheck in the settings confused me for a minute, but I guess that's a list of features, not a list of options.

It didn't work at first, but tapped the MMRA icon and reloaded the medium page I was viewing, and voila. I didn't realize how obnoxious Medium was getting until today. Thanks!
