So this extension sucks because not only can they track your screen and spy on you at home, THEY CAN DO IT AT HOME TOO, i had one teacher spy on a student when he was on his computer at home then confronted him about it in class. This is downright wrong and annoying!!

Hello, my name is Noah, And this extension is literally the bane of my goddamn existence, for one, you can't even do anything with it, 2, teachers abuse this extension to spy on you, 3, they can lock your entire computer for no reason at all, 4, they can block literally anything, Including the apps on the actual chromebook itself, and lastly, 5, MY SCHOOL INSTALLED IT BY POLICY AND NOW I CAN'T UNINSTALL IT, END THE PROCESS IN TASK MANAGER, THEY BLOCKED CROSH SO I CAN'T BLOCK IT FROM THE TERMINAL, EVEN IF I POWERWASH THE ENTIRE CHROMEBOOK IT WILL JUST SAY "eNtErPrIsE eNrOlLmEnT" SO THESE STUPID GODDAMN POLICIES ARE STILL THERE. Get this extension to one star, and we will have this off of the web store. Do whatever it takes, create alts, JUST GET THIS EXTENSION OFF THE FREAKING WEB STORE

you cant do anything with this extension, and the teachers block everything. sometimes the extension glitches out and blocks the websites we need to use and we spend a useless 30 minutes trying to get it to work again. on chromebooks it can close tabs and basically is a admin. it can even block the chromebook apps like settings, camera, and even files. its not good because i spies on students when we try to do our on thing and if the teacher forgets to end a session then we just cant use our chromebooks at all. it even disabled every other extension

Absolutely freaking spyware. I was once just using the chromebook for searching sources for my English essay, and the site I was using was DIscus. My teacher was on Dyknow at the time and she put the "get back to work" notification on my screen when I was LITERALLY WORKING. This extension is annoying and an invasion of privacy. If there was a zero star rating I would use that. This spyware should be deleted ASAP.

Such a great extension! One thing I love about it is how kids will be saying things like "this extension is garbage!" and "this goes against the 4th amendment!" acting like they aren't the reason teachers have to use this in the first place. Just cause you cant play run 3 or slope during class doesn't mean you should rate it 1 star for it. Yeah I don't like how teachers can watch kids screens while they are home but I don't think most teachers are watching their students while they are home. All the kids that think "this goes against out 4th amendment right!" or "this extension is trash!" just shut up please.

This is a violation of privacy my teacher would not even let me rate dyknow on my school account and every time i'm on a break and want to listen to music she blocks youtube and wont let me do anything. By the way if you want to know if your teacher is watching you at that very second click on the puzzle piece in the top right corner of your screen then click on dynow cloud and click i dont get it yet, im not sure, and i get it and if they all say status sent at the same time and stay like that they are watching your screen If they are not staying like that and only one of them is then they are not. Every time i get an assignment and have to watch a video on youtube its always blocked and its for a unnessesary reason like if i was trying to listen to music. And stuff like not being able to change my computer background or the fact that they changed it so i have my default new tab as THE SCHOOL WEBSITE and sometimes they block GOOGLE and some people dont know how to get to google docs without google. also the privacy practices are illegal and your teachers should not have your address or know all your info unless you tell them those things. also they changed the settings on my personal YouTube account that they don't own and now I can't change the settings on that account.

If you have 2 monitors you can do this hack: whichever monitor you clicked on last will be shown to whoever is monitoring you. So you can play a video on one monitor and then click on the other one and no one knows you are watching a video

Well, I love some things the app does, it helps me stay on task ocasionally, it's a good reminder to come to class. But my god is it laggy. This app barely works. 1/3 of the time i'm getting reminders up to 30 minutes late. I honestly don't care about teachers being able to see my computer because I actually own a computer and Just use this for school. Rating this app 1 Star so my school switches to an app that actually works and isn't coded by ....

Hi my name is Eva and this is the worst thing to do to students, This is absolutely terrible. Why would I want someone to see what I am doing on my laptop. As long as I am not like doing illegal thigs it is fine. This is really creepy, a lot of people only have there school computer and use it for other things to. If everything is blocked that is really unhelpful to people. The school does not even care if we fail so why not let us play videogames and stuff. Help us take DYKNOW off of the app store by giving it one star MWAHHH.

When I used this so my teachers can monitor me, I got my address leaked, and a creepy old man was outside my window.

My teachers are force installing it on our school computers. it might be legal, but this is inhumane. If this successfully gets to my school computer, I will have no way to contact my friends for good. Please everyone rate this bad so we can get it removed from google for good. It is the only thing that makes me happy since quarantine my mental health has been absolutely terrible. The only people helping me are my friends. THANK YOU LOVES MWAH

This app dum because it reguard lossing are freedom and wishes to do what we want on are compter it sucks and it makes me mad that anything that i do is being watch by my teacher. DYKNOW IS BAD

This app just super annoying when it strikes half the time when I have an assignment and I have to watch a youtube video it says the site is blocked.... This honestly makes me so mad and I tell my teacher and she does nothing about it Lovely!

I'm going to give everyone hating this thing from hell a few tips to loop hole this thing. 1. Click on "DyKnow" then click the "I don't get it yet", the "I'm not sure", and the "I get it" and spam. If all of them show "Status Sent" then that means your being watched. 2. How to crash "DyKnow". First thing you want to do is click on "DyKnow" then click "Something not working?", them spam ( And I mean spam) as much random stuff as you can, and the way to know if this works or not is to open your "Task Manager" by pressing search+Esc for Chromebook or press Ctrl+Shift+Esc and find "DyKnow" then make sure it shows you it is using more then 90 CPU. Hope this help everyone! Also, reply if you need help!

this is trash. whenever I was done with all of my work I would play games or something, now I just have to sit there because I have no missing assignments. Plus I had to use my other account instead of the school one just so I could write a review. Absolute trash

this app extension breaks the 4th amendment which clearly states: "The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized." this app extension keeps a screenwatch on 24/7 until you turn it off, constantly keeping them (students) under surveillance by people who have no reason to screenwatch such as teachers. this fallacy applies to the part where it says "...against unreasonable searches or seizures.". this is clearly a violation of the BILL OF RIGHTS which is a CAPITAL OFFENCE nationwide. i'm trying to make this as unbias as possible, but come on. the people who made this despicable app are put into prison for committing a felony. this was my abuse report, your welcome

This is so bad. This is the worst extension ever known to the web store. This shows how restricted schools are. This shows how trashy the district is. I do know that this is installed by policy according to the extension info. The "Remove Extension" button doesn't even work because the policy enforces it. I want to delete this so bad. This app is trash, I get how people want to watch kids and what their doing but also it's not right the person who came out with this thing well app had a good idea but also a trashy idea because, its kids privacy not adults info to now what they doing I understand why people need it watch their kids but some people its a good app to some people but people don't need it. hello! i'm kurzov. I, ordinarily, would review this extension as per usual. however, my school has blocked my school account from reviewing extensions. why? I don't know. anyway, this is a new thing that Cabarrus County Schools is trying, I think. there's no "channel" to change AFAICT (as far as I can tell), as LanSchool had... I think they found me out changing the channel to prevent people from looking at my screen. (I'M DOING VOLUNTEER WORK, OKAY?) anyway, I'm just another student reviewing this. looks like this thing will be replacing LanSchool, or will be accompanied by this new DyKnow thing. it is not on my "STEM" chromebook yet although I feel that it will when I charge it up and power it on. although as decided by the Supreme Court case about that high school student who put a banner up promoting drug use, we don't have all the rights as our adult counterparts. but can we at least just have LanSchool? THIS APP IS TERRIBLE!! I CANT DO ANYTHING THEY ABUSE THIS APP AND NOT EVEN CARE! But there is ways to bypass it, simply turn off your wifi before they blocked u, if u turn off your wifi they wont be able to block u nor see your screen! BUT , if your blocked and u wanna be unblocked this a little harder. First turn off your wifi close your chromebook (DO NOT LOG OUT) than log back in and open a tab. Keep doing this motion till google,bing,etc shows up or till it doesn't say ¨Blocked by dyknow" than search up whatever u need than turn on your wifi let it load up a lil than turn off your wifi BUT DO IT QUICK! This mostly works for soundcloud,if u are doing this on Soundcloud than KEEP YOUR WIFI OFF! Yes i understand u only listing to one song and pauses just turn your wifi off than on! I hate this this breaks privacy rules and I feel unsafe at school. I hate this thing it makes me stressed because I used to play games on it and now I can't go to sleep. Me and my friend were protesting about this, but we almost got suspended. I really hate it.
