I love that it made me get up & do something periodically BUT IT keeps popping up when it is disabled! I will be deleting this again (I had it about a year ago but dumped when it was popping up even though it was disabled). I had hoped that the problem would have been fixed by now but clearly it hasn't!

I use it in my classroom and my students love it. There are a wide variety of brain break activities to get you up and moving. However, I've had problems lately with it going off even when I don't have the extension enabled, which has been quite annoying.

how often do you think to yourself "wow, this product is so worth my time that I need to go write a review RIGHT NOW!"??? The genius folks at PE geek made me do that with their move it extension. Especially in these times of sedentary life, having a fun and silly way to get your blood pumping. I've shared this with many students and they love it too. Thank you for this gem

Lots of fun, you can temporarily turn off, or set desired interval for a quick physical break. Great for students and teachers alike!

I can't tell if this is making a difference, but I feel a bit better just knowing I'm doing -something- besides sitting behind a desk. I'm not too proud to take the easy win.

I have this at my school in math class and it works. Every 15 mins. we get up and go something. It's really helpful and random!

I absolutely LOVE this extension. But as of today (Dec 18) it also installs RocketTab malware. WHAT? Fix this!

Installs Rocket Tab malware. Horrible.

The worst. It won't let me delete it! So annoying.

It's geared toward classrooms. There should be an option available for people with sedentary jobs. Also, more variety needed in exercises.

I see a lot of the same things to do all day. I would like some more variety. I would also like to see more things that students can do while in their seats since quite a few are not mobile. However, the students really do like that at random times during class they get to move around.

This is a great app. It helps me remember to move while I'm on the computer which is vitally important for my legs! Highly recommend it!

It is very helpful for a person like me in a sedentary job, but it seems geared towards classrooms, so I have to sub some activities that require group or partner participation. I wish there was a version just for the workplace.

Great way to get up and move at work. I love it!

This is an AWESOME extension. There are a ton of different things, from genuine exercise to things a bit silly (wiggle your whole body for 10 seconds). Great variety, keeps you from getting bored.I spend many hours in my home office and this make keep me from wincing every time I stand up (and reminds me to do so!) Nicely done!!

I work at my desk all day long and often become so engrossed in my work that I forget to move around or even take a sip of water. This app makes movement fun . I love it and have recommended it to others.

I got this for my school computer, and when I disabled it, it still gave me exercises! I still think its perfect for it's purpose, but that's just a problem I found.

This is a great way to remind you to move during the day... especially if you are setting at a desk all day.

I really need this. Sitting too long is not helpful and this worked so well. Now, the icon is there, but doesn't work. Hope there is something else that would do the job. The exercises to do add incentive. Belongs in a health category.

This totally works for me - I work at my desk about 10 hours a day. ive tried setting times - but they dont interrupt my work the way Moveit does. The exercises are quick and easy to do - and usually take less than 1 minute. Beautiful! Sedentary desk workers who spend lots of time in Chrome - get this app!

Simple and fun little extension that helps me break up my day and get out of my chair. Looking forward to being able to adjust the work out level (currently set to a gradeschool level) but i am comfortable mixing it up ;)

It works again! I was so bummed when Google forced disabled this extension. I just saw it works again. WooHoo!

Such a great idea, but didn't work. Very disappointed.

Graham Olson July 13th, 2016

I've used this in the past and think it is awesome, but not working now. Where I am supposed to set the interval there are no options or anything to select so it remains blank. I also agree increased resource of random exercises would be great, as well as variables for the reps and sets! Could be some fun creative stuff in there too like create a new dance move, spell your name in the air with your butt, re-enact a movie scene or sporting event with a random different locomotor skill, etc.

I am so happy to have this app on my computer because if it wasn't for the reminders, I would be sitting at my desk waaaaaay tooooo long. Agree with some of the other ratings that there needs to be more variety in the exercises, but if I don't want to do said exercise, I'll just get up and do something else.

Watch it with this app. You cannot get rid of it!!!! Do not use it unless you want the "curse of the Move It" popping up constantly...can't turn it off! No one will respond from the app developer and tell how to get it off. It actually deserves zero stars! DO NOT USE IT!

Hana Bernard February 5th, 2016

Would love to see more variety and less repetition of movements - often getting the same one twice in a row. Otherwise - this is an awesome way to keep the blood flowing!

It is a good extension, however I have found some spelling errors. Not so great when spelling errors pop up for your whole class to see. Fix those errors and it will be great!

Love it. I use it in my computer classroom. Please fix the grammar - Shake the right side of your body. Not you're. Also how do you do an on the spot triple jump? Would love to see an example. Would also like to be able to add my own exercises.

This is a great way to keep moving when you are stuck at your computer. I use it in my Kindergarten classroom, when it pops up, we all get up and move our bodies. It's a great movement/brain break

I love having this pop up and remind me to get out of my chair. Even though the exercises are simple and short they're just right to give me the microbreaks I need when working at a PC for long periods of time.

I am going to encourage all the teachers in our building to put this on their computer.

Love the idea to get more activity in the classroom. When I disable the extension, it runs anyway. I'd also like to be able to start the timer manually (when each class starts).

Jedidiah Butler August 6th, 2014

This is AWESOME. Really good to break up activity. I use it in the classroom to keep students active and engaged. 15-20 minutes is the usual timer I use. Teachers concerned with students taking the physical activity for too long may want to consider using this with discretion.

I have been using this my self before recommending it to teachers or parents. I love how it forces me to get off the computer and do something physical.

Adam Ward July 9th, 2014
Adam Ward

Some of the exercises are a bit simple or silly, but if you're like me and have a tendency to zone in on work for several hours on end, it's a great reminder to look away from the computer and move around a bit. Definitely recommended if you have a desk job.
