This extension, though great in serving its purpose, has a clear conflict with Google Sheets. If you work in Google Sheet and this extension is enabled, you will not be able to work properly. With this extension enabled, you cannot change the size of the columns as the draggin arrows become invisible. Except this shortcoming, this extension is really very good, specially if your task involved taking regualr screenshots.

Needs option to set a web page with both zoom and font. At the moment, the choice is between css engin and font size only. Also, obviously, when Adding a web page to the list, it will have to save the context. Thank you.

Broken. The addon says my zoom level is 140% but it's actually at 80% (reported by Chrome) The settings page is bad. The guide on how to use it is buried in the options, not laid out properly and the guide is incomplete. Default zoom on page does not support wildcards (Setting a separate zoom level for Youtube's homepage and Youtube's watch page is not possible). Error tips not clear. When it does work on subdomains it's really random when it will remember the zoom level or not. If you set it yourself in the settings, it's quite random if it will actually use that zoom level or not. Tried both " Zoom at domain level" and "Zoom at web page level" No luck, it's just not consistent to warrant enabling it. Plus sometimes it will recognize you made a change to your zoom-level in tab and remember it for you, other times it doesn't for no reason. No tips are displayed saying settings are saved or anything, you must either keep the settings page open and refresh it to check any changes, or just guess. Plus why is there a "Apply the zoom level to all pages" button that does nothing because the Default Zoom slider right above it does the same thing? Oh and the uninstall feedback page links to a missing page It's just too buggy to use it.

Sir // Madam, WOW..........your extension is one of the ONLY extensions that i can find which does CORRECT CUSTOM ZOOMING PER TAB regardless of what DOMAIN or sub domain or parent or child nature the web pages are. You feature, "zoom at web page level" is what achieves the above. ............i just spent 3 to 4 hours TRAWLING through "zoom extensions" that were ridiculously complicated and yet THEY STILL DID NOT WORK CORRECTLY for "per tab custom zooming" Another ridiculous feature of many other dysfunctinal zoom extensions is they also DO NOT remember their settings upon browser EXIT and RESTART (which seemed ridiculous to me ) .........eventually i find your extension which is totally simple to use and actually WORKS RIGHT and REMEMBERS its state on browser exist and new start. Opera latest here......ver 89 .......thanks very very much for your free extension. I had to email all the other developers and remind them that global users TIME is not free regardless of whether their extension is FREE . It's not a good thing releasing FLAWED extensions which waste OCEANS of peope's time. i selected "use the browser zoom" and "per tab zooming" from your extensions... which both work great . many many thanks again. if i can recommend an excellent extension to you as a return favor .......BANDWIDTH HERO which cuts down the TRAFFIC of heavy WEB USERS by compressing images on a HEROKU sever in the cloud. Everything i said above is true and i also employ another TRICK while using your extension. While using your extension i also........ 1) use an extra extension called AUTO REFRESH TAB 2) tell the tool mentioned in (1) to REFRESH your OPTIONS WEBPAGE every 30 seconds. ( your zoom settings page) 3) This method in (1) and (2) allows YOUR EXTENSION to update it's list of vistited web pages with any NEW ZOOM LEVELS which i may have set in realtime while surfing. These methods in (1) , (2) and (3) give me the exact REALTIME ZOOMING ability that i require ................for each WEB TAB. Stefan, if i could recommend to you that maybe you could invent a TICK BOX called "AUTO REFRESH" inside your extension. ....If the user ticks the box, your extension will auto refresh it's list of WEB URLS every 30 seconds with the latest "zooming activity's" that the user has carried out PER TAB This is real useful regards Vince.

It works great, it just doesn't on youtube player, while using the player it doesn't point to the exact minute as in the view. Also it zooms too in youtube full screen..

Great on regular web pages, but does not work on new tab, which is what I wanted it for to display my chrome theme background perfectly.

Great extension! allows you to zoom out of webpages without messing up with the quality that much! 10/10 and it also has a simple and easy to use UI.

The only extension I've been able to find for any browser that allows you to fine-tune the zoom amount to individual percent values.

Very good extension, so much better than having to use the browser one. I also like all the options and settings built into this extension. Thank you for this FREE extension, well worth a donation.

This extension I find highly useful and makes for much easier reading on more than a few websites.

Unnecessairy click on three dots replaced with an unnecessairy click on a Z. Genius. And it doesn't even work properly.

Doesn't work, at all. No "Z" appears. Also no context menu entry. Went through options and tried it all. Nothing. Still have to zoom with ctrl+ and ctrl- or the inconvenient three dot menu, where there is now some square icon that makes the page go wonky by removing all title bars, menu bar, scrollbar, tabs, etc. (I guess that's "reader view? Useless)

could you make it so we can use our keyboard to zoom if not its ok

I chose to "Change only the font size on that web page", but it reverts back after I reload the page (tried gmail.com). It is still showing that the page is zoomed, however it is not anymore.

The increment levels of the Zooming feature on Chrome are terrible (110%, 125%, 150%). I could not have a normal experience browsing websites without this extension. Thank you.

Does not seem to work within my Chrome Browser. PLEASE! ADD! "LOCK SCROLL" FEATURE! to stop the screen from accidentally zooming in and out with touchpad controllers... it is an infuriating waste of of time. And your app does not make scrolling better or worse aside from adding granular detail to a something that some of us don't want to begin with.

Didn't work on my Chromebook. Crashes every time I enter meeting code and password to launch the meeting.

Wasted more then half of my battery And I only spent 52 minutes on it when I'm not on Zoom it tend's to take Up my battery alot did not use it for a week my battery is down to 15 percent.

I do no recommend this extension, The only difference of this that I see is that the chrome ICON only shows if you change from 100% viewing. chrome won't jump 1 percent increments, and this extension doesn't either anymore.. I thought it did before.. To have settings on it set by click mouse buttons is ridiculous. If you want to zoom using your mouse, all you have to do, without.this extension is hold CTRL key down, and roll the mouse wheel either direction, zooming in/out the page. This extension is basically bloatware using up 20 Megs of ram that is not necessary.

I am very disappointed about the latest update. It was working fine but now it doesn't keep a memory of the pages zoom level like it did before. Most pages are at 100% but I like to keep REDDIT at 140%. If I put any page at 100% all pages afterward are at 100% including REDDIT and if I change it to 140% on REDDIT all the other pages will be at 140%. I loved it before the update. I wish there was a way to not update stuff when they work well.

It doesn't help that much. Not like the other zoom in apps there is like some great feature but this one only has one and stops at a certain point where I still want to zoom in.

This is a really helpful extension that gives easy access to the zoom level on pages and also retains the settings for each website. Nice to have if you suffer from eye strain working long hours on your computer!

I have only tested it on a few websites (using Brave browser) but so far it seems to work well. I like the fact that the zoom can be in increments other than 5 or 10 percent. My browser does have it's own built in zoom options of course but sometimes the values provided to choose from for magnification are not quite what is needed, either increasing things too much and making them blurry or not quite well enough to make viewing comfortable. Very happy I stumbled across it.

It *???? technically work: the +/- (in)decreases the zoom by 10% each time and the slider adjusts in much small increments for fine-tuning. However, after hours of trying and testing from resetting all sites to default 100% zoom before installing the extension, making sure no other extensions were conflicting (in fact, I disabled all other extensions), and trying lots of different zoom amounts on different sites, as well as zooming with Chrome's built-in zoom function and then fine-tuning with this extension... but sadly nothing I did fixed the major problem that it just flat-out breaks the design, view, and/or functionality of most sites. ????????: • YouTube - above 120% zoom notifications are either slightly or completely cut-off as they appear outside of the screen/page borders. Also, 'Cinema Mode' is stretched so much it cuts off the edges of the video. And playback scrubbing is impossible because the site seems to register your cursor in a different place to where it actually is - (it's difficult to explain but if I was to click my cursor in the dead-center of the playback timeline the site would register the click much, much further to the right almost at the end of the video, if that makes sense) • Other examples - on any and every site that has pop-outs such as hovering over a linked/highlighted word causes the pop-out to appear outside the border of the visible page/screen. • On any and every site, spell check/Grammarly highlights an incorrect word but because the page is stretched it highlights in the wrong word or it highlights in a random place on the page making it near impossible to click the incorrect word as the page thinks your cursor is somewhere else. And lots more like this. It seems this extension just stretches the page which when breaks most pages' functionality. I just don't see how it's usable in any capacity. What a shame.

it doesn't work just use the bulit in zoom in on your pc and use a zoom in add on just use ctrl - or + and this an't working use the ctrl - + to zoom in and out even if you dont have this ad on

Had to disable. Today it started causing right side of Gmail main page to be cut off. But I find that Chrome is zoomable anyway by holding Ctrl key and mouse wheel without this extension.

it very good extension but there is problem with it if you apply zoom of google sheets you mouse courser click is messed up its about 4 or 5 rows apart where you want to click its just not working on sheets , hope you will fix it soon cherrs and thanks i was just furious with builtin zoom feature .

I'd like to scroll up to incremental zoom in and down for out. Under advanced options there is a radial for Counter clockwise scroll and Clockwise scroll. Changing between the two doesn't do anything. Also not sure what "Hold the 'mouse button', and scroll up or down to change the zoom level. Left mouse click, Right mouse click" does. Played around with it and doesn't change any behavior.

Great app. I hate when browser renders everything small in the center leaving a lot of space on both sides.

Pro's - The current zoom level is dislpayed on the toolbar icon Con's - You can't just click the icon and zoom ... you have to click the icon, then move the cursor to a narrow bar before scroll-zooming : SUGGESTION - increase the scroll-zoom area to include the entire top right quarter of the webpage aswell as the icon. - You scroll forward to reduce text size and backward to increase it - very counter-intuitive : SUGGESTION - include an option to reverse this (there is an option to do this - but it only works if you've selected to scroll with the wheel AND a mouse-button) Sort this out and I'll give it a 5-star rating !

Finally (2020AD) can zoom into a page or picture/image on chrome and do this on a page by page manner. (each pg has its own zoom setting, default setting). Most difficult before was zooming into embedded frames as chromes native zoom would cut off frame edges when zooming into iFramed images. On a few page styles the zooming is rougher but that is as to the quality (lack there of)* of the designed webpage. **Designing webpages is hard, not "knocking" webdesigners. Good designs = smoother experience = return visitors.

Something I noticed and will pass on on the support website when I find time; When Zoom is set to be used with "Hold the 'mouse button', and scroll up or down to change the zoom level" checked, I lose the right click "copy" context menu. In other words, I can highlight text on any page but when I let go of the left click and then right click, all of the text is deselected and their is no "copy" in the context menu. So, I unchecked the option and use the slider for my zoom adjustments. Can anyone else duplicate it? I checked all of my addon compatibility with each other and Chrome and Zoom is the one that affects copy/paste.

Love this! Zoom is more incremental and precise than the built-in browser zoom. Only criticism I have is that zoom settings could only be retained per website, instead of per page (one cannot have different zoom levels for different pages in a single website)

Hi developer, I'd just download this extension and it was okay. But I have found some issue when use it with Youtube. It happened when I was zooming in 118% and I left click to navigate the video but the cursor didn't click on the correct position that I mean to.

I see no way to pan from side to side, which makes it somewhat useless. If there is a way, please specify. Thanks.

Works just like I like it. But it would be even nicer if you could use wildcards in domain names. Like https://*.example.com

This app needs to reduce zoom function down to one click. On each side of Z place + or -- . One click allows instant modification on any page. Or within an article on the page. Would allow quick shifting in and out of pages, changing size as you go.

Doesn't do anything. Tried on multiple websites with other extensions disabled. It literally did nothing. Clicking Hover+ just take you to Github - pointless

This is a very useful tool. I use it for YouTube to center the videos just as I like it, without anything getting cut off or being too zoomed out.

It seems to have quit working. None of the values I set in the options menu seem to work anymore. I tried removing and re-installing. No joy. I really liked this extension, and hope I can get it working again.

This app is important to me because I find that many web pages have print that is too small to read comfortably. Zooming to a higher percentage makes them easy to read. I have used this app for nearly a year and have been completely satisfied. Last night I had an issue with the page reverting back to 100% whenever it was refreshed and I reported it. By early this morning I had received an email saying the issue had been resolved, and it has been. 5 Stars for the app and another 5 Stars for customer service!

Too soon to tell if this is substantially better than native zooming. Feature request: wildcards in URLs for page-specific zooming. For example: • https://github.com/developer/project/pull/*/files To allow zooming on any pull request's files view, as opposed to having to explicitly zoom every pull request by its ID. Is that a possibility?

Great extension, thank you Stefan for your work on this! It's an absolute killer for the Chrome's native zoom function. One question - is there a way to overwrite the default Chrome zoom shortcut (CTRL+ mouse button) to use Zoom's engines (CSS / font only)?

Good but....... the zoom numbers does not save when you exit zoom mode and when you click the Z then it will show 100 again if you reset it then it will go back to normal size
