simple and works great
Closes the duplicate tabs, does the job well. As well reading through the reviews here, developer is very involved with her/his work.
The only problem is the badge is broken because it uses the function "chrome.runtime.onInstalled.addListener" which means it will only work properly after the first install or after an update. It will stop working once you close the browser and open it back up again. For that you need "chrome.runtime.onStartup.addListener".
After the recent update it now closes duplicates across all chrome windows instead of closing duplicates in the current one only. This is so frustrating for me :( Could you, please, add an option to control this behavior? Global/current window

Good little utility. One click and done when the icon lights up green. That's nice as it's not too in your face.
Good, but why the large file size?
In the latest google chrome (v 69.xxx) with material theme, the icon looks bland with no coloring at all; just plain gray. There is no indication of duplicate tabs whatsoever. Please test and adjust. Thanks.

Rather large in file size to do such simple functions it does which makes me not trust the app. Disabled for now.
The badge color is absolutely horrible. White text on a bright lime green background?!? You might as well make it white-on-yellow or white-on-white, and it would be as useful. Also, the duplicate count seems to be wrong most of the time. And the badge shows the same number in all windows, even those without duplicates. Clicking the button in a window with duplicates will remove duplicates in that window and clear the badge count in all windows, even though other windows still have duplicates. This extension needs to be tested more.

I have seen better, just didn't find it today. The better one shows the url of duplicates when mouse-over, and counter is more visible for color blind(that is, it has contrast).
It does what it says, however, I'd like for it to have the option of automatically closing any duplicate tab as soon it detects it. Also the "options" menu item is disabled
What I need is working fine. But need to improve in: It take duplicates count from all windows. But closes duplicate tabs only from single window. So, it shows wrong count. And give priority for pinned tab. Don't close if any duplicate tab in pinned tabs.Instead of current tab, it closes the duplicate pinned tab

Exactly what I had in mind: • It lights up if there are any duplicates • It closes them in one click Unfortunately the duplicates count is always incorrect :(
