Will block the intrusive ads, but will eventually start playing smaller ads below the stream.

Used to work really good, but as of today (February 13th 2023) I'm now getting stuck on a purple screen that says "Commercial break in progress" that never ends because the timer stops on 22 seconds, please fix it

Worked fine until today. No longer blocks ads and goes to "commercial break in progress" screen.
The extension does literally nothing and is sketchy. They just programmed a display that lets you toggle ads, but it's only a display, it serves no function. Which means these other reviews saying it works must be bots... smh idk why it defaults to having access on all sites when it only should be on twitch... don't waste your time or risk security...
Works for me, Not a bot. I don't get the advertisements when you first start viewing a stream nor the ads they run in the middle throughout the streams. I also run a few other extensions though to help prevent ads -- but they weren't working till I downloaded this. So its either my other extensions are allowing this one to shine, or idk. but it definitely works for me.
Not much to say about an extension that just doesn't work.
The first one I downloaded and it works amazingly. Highly recommend you download it to block twitch ads.

I really do love this extension. It is fast and block all of the ads smoothly. Something that I have noticed is when it is attepmting to skip the ads it makes it buffer before and after wards
works amazing. the first day or two after installation was really iffy but it just started working how an ad blocker should all of a sudden lmao.
I uninstalled and installed multiple times. I tried turning ads on and off but kept getting ads no matter what.

really hate it when streamer have to run ads (not blaming them, everybody's gotta make money somehow smh) but thank GOD i found this extension. amazing service that blocks all types of ads on desktop. 10/10, you guys gotta figure out a way to do this for mobile!!
The adverts on twitch.tv didn't use to be an issue until they got to be 5+ minutes log. They are all American adverts, I'm in the UK so they aren't even relevant. This app stope them. No more horrific American commercials for me 10/10.

Has a bug where it constantly unpauses twitch VODs. Seen quite a few complaints on reddit. It only happens with this extension enabled, please fix. Blocks ads fine.
1. doesn't send you to review page if review is under 5 stars, bias much? 2. doesn't block the blocking ads message despite the toggle being on. 3. breaks often

Doesnt work as of today or maybe earlier. Commercial Break in progress message appears again.
Currently doesn't work. When it does work, it's amazing. But they are in a constant battle with Twitch to keep this working, so the only way to catch it when it DOES work is to have it already installed. I got this addon a long time ago and it has stopped working at least 4 times due to Twitch countermeasures, and they've updated and fixed the plugin within a week. This time it's taking a lot longer to fix, but I'm confident it will be fixed eventually. In summary, currently doesn't work at all, but neither do any others. You should install it anyway for when it does begin working again.
Installed this extention, and not 5 minutes later had ads rolling on twitch. doesnt work
"The publisher has disclosed that it will not collect or use your data" But also: "Permissions: Read your browsing history" This only shows up once you install it and check it through your extensions tab. Strange.

works on chrome on windows 10 on a desktop pc, but doesn't work and do anything on chrome on a macbook pro 2017 on macos monterey 12.4
Not working and chrome removed the only good ad blocker so don't bother with this one

One of the best working AdBlock extension. I haven't faced any privacy issues till now.
Not only it copies another existing project completely: 1. It reinstalls itself after removal 2. It asks for extra permissions such as reading data on ALL websites you visit, reading your browser history, sending you notifications, etc. 3. Might block ads but without letting you watch the stream 4. Chrome Web Store does not approve of this extension 5. Browser displays "This extension is not trusted by Enhanced Safe Browsing." But the fact that the "developer" straight up copied another existing project and changed nothing about it (which he will contest I'm sure) is red flag enough.
This extension is not limited to Twitch.tv's domain and has full-access to the sites you visit. My previous Twitch adblocker was DCMA'd, but while it was still available, it was able to work fine with just access to Twitch.tv permissions. Until this developer fixes the scope of their permissions, I will refuse to use it or recommend it. Some sketchy Twitch ad-blockers in the past inserted affiliate links into my Amazon page, against my knowledge, and who knows what sketchy stuff this app is doing.
Pretty sure that the code for this extension was stolen from a public repository and then a copyright claim filed against the original extension. Their privacy policy states that they will sell your information.

Typically works fine. I think the AdBlock has a conflict with the Blerp Sound Alert Twitch extension. When I click on the Blerp icon on the stream window and select a sound the bottom portion of the stream appears a black bar where an ad would be, the stream scrolls up and down when the mouse is over the stream window. The only way to restore the stream to normal size is to either reload the page or disable the adblock and allow an ad to show.

It works but I really don't like how it wants permission to read/change data on all sites its sketchy. Should only need to do so on Twitch.
As of Dec 16, 2022 @ 1am, it had stopped working. With it installed, twitch was showing network error #2000 (insecure connection). My fix was uninstalling it and reinstalling. Using it in my browser that's not logged into anything just in case. Odd out of the blue after months of perfectly working this happpened. And it seems I'm not the only one who started having sudden issues with it.
