Love it so far

I'm not sure if it is because I'm trying this out on MS Edge (running browser comparison tests), which comes with Chrome addon functionality, but as a very long time user of the original OneTab, I am quite shocked at this cheap clone having gained so many subscribers. I was installing OneTab and found this, and thought to give it a shot. Literally the first thing that greets me is a spelling error on the main page of the addon, which, when I went to report it, brought me to a feedback page labeled "Tab Master". I figured this is either someone's kid's hobby project or an attempt to steal users by name association, in either case it is fundamentally a malprinted carbon copy of the original OneTab, giving no reason to switch over at all but providing plenty of reasons to avoid.

I know there are a few different one tab out there. But this one works the best, and does what it says, it takes all your tabs, and makes a savable list with them that you can name so you remember what list what tabs on it has, but I have a feeling that better organized features are on their way. or i might make the next one Tab with the Organization that people that uses these tools need, people that need these tools usually are doing a lot of work on the internet and need a one Tab but with more organization, but this one is the only one that comes close to that dream. Don't usually take the time to review, but this extension deserves it. I am obsessed with being organized and this helps with that a lot. I can get scattered when I'm researching several different things at once, so I like using this to group-up topics to help me stay focused on certain tabs at once. I'm not a student anymore but I would have used it for a lot of projects. It can really make your life easier!

The UI is just not as useful and optimized for my needs as I would like it.

Need export tabs to file or at least as text like in OneTab

Less feature-rich than original onetab. I don't see the benefit.

No context menu to choose one tab. Can't move tabs to groups. No import-export. No, but thanks..

Why force new groups every time? Why not allow user to just keep one working group, so clicking the icon would update/keep everything in one list? New group every time should be an option, not an enforced state. Very nearly a great extension, but for me is useless for this reason.

Cannot import or export from onetab or so.

Great extension, it let you even chose if you want to save also the pinned tabs. Unfortunately, there is no auto cloud backup and the extension is not updated since 2018

Excellent tool!

This is an extension I actually use everyday all day. It helps me organise my work flows. I use it extensively for client work. Because you can save groups and name them as well as search for the group, when I start a project, I search the clients name, open all the tabs or the tabs I need and continue to work. It has a convenient feature where you can manually add new tabs. I love this extension. It really helps me become more efficient. For example. If client A calls up with a query and interrupts me while I am working on client B's projects, all I have to do, is open a new window and search for that clients name. BOOM!! Immediately, without having to think where anything is I have all the clients online content in front of me and I can continue to respond to their call. Fast!

It is something special to people who working using lot of tabs.

Rating it 3 stars because people say it's working for them and I just need to know why it isn't for me. I have the exact same number of Chrome processing running when I click the icon and it switches to a list of tabs. Memory usage did not seem to change either. Hope someone can comment and help me figure out what is going on. Chrome is using a about 2 GB of memory.

I love this extension!!! As a grad student I always have multiple windows with anywhere from 5 to 30+ tabs each open at any given time. I use reference management software and note taking programs but nothing is as simple and effective as using my OneTab to group and save what I'm working on. Being able to save those tabs and then close windows whenever I am no longer actively working on something, or whenever my computer needs to do any updates, makes for a great personalized reference library and really gives me peace of mind about easily resuming my work whenever I want.

I have ADHD and this extension allows me to focus on one saved group at a time. I also tried the original one-tab and "better onetab". The difference between those two extensions and this one would be the ability to see one group at a time(that may be a negative for some). The "better onetab" shows all lists in the main panel. I can collapse them, but it does not remove them from my immediate line of site. This extension places them on the left hand side and I can ignore them(visually) much easier as it mimics other applications such as email. It is comforting to know that my tabs will be there for later and I only need one window open at a time. I used to separate my tabs into multiple windows so certain projects would be kept separate. This is much more convenient. I do not use "pinned tabs" so the fact that this extension does not support that is irrelevant to me. That is a major negative for some individuals and if that is the only catch on using these types of extensions, I recommend better onetab until the developers add that function in. There does appear to be 3 options that are not translated into the English version "move group up" "move group down" and "pin group/unpin group" they are easy enough to figure out, kanji was clear for the purpose of the first two. Overall, this application has helped myself and many others inside my company keep focused more often and not lose their existing tabs!

this is good.. my issue is why my pinned tab is being closed and inserted into group.

This extension does save a lot of memory, and its (apparently) handy ability to categorize tabs is nice. But it does not keep track of the "Pinned" status of tabs, so once you use it to hide tabs, you have to RE-PIN all the tabs you had pinned before using it. Other than that, or if you don't use pinned tabs, it's a great extension!

Good replacement of the old Onetab.

On the first try, it just closed all my 200+ open tabs, apparently with no trace other than a list of 7 history items. That's not what I expected.
