THANK YOU, I HAVE DYSLEXIA AND ADHD THIS IS SO HELPFUL
This would be great if the extension didn't also dim the highlighted section. disappointing as it could be a perfect alternative to the read & write screen masking tool otherwise...
Great work.
Love the idea off this extension, let's you focus and reduces eye strain. How do you get it to work on pdfs? I tried to use visor to read an online pdf but the line doesn't seem to follow the cursor, just stays stuck in the middle?
WOW AMAZING.. LOVE THIS ... it does help my eyes from strain.
is there a keyboard shortcut to turn visor on if there is tell me it will be helpfull for me
Good and helpful, but I have one item of feedback: I wish it was possible to independently adjust the opacity of the background and the reading bar. I'd like the background darker and the reading bar the same color as it was before the extension, but I can't get that right now because there is only and option to adjust them jointly
best worst tool I've ever used
it doesn't work on my chromebook
did not work
It worked pretty well but after the start of this semester, every time I try to move the bar as I read, it either stays in the middle of the screen or gets stuck on the very top of the page, where the menu bar on most websites sits.
It works great but not on pdfs opened in the browser. The extension still kinda works but the highlighted portion doesn't move with my cursor, this problem only happens with pdfs and embedded documents.
The visor follows your mouse it cannot be set at one height. Annoying. Other than that it was great idea.
I doesn't do anything to my display...
fine
Great extension. Like the other reviews, you have to activate visor for every page you go to. Would like to see this extension get applied to all pages without activating the extension every time.
i iove this app
Didn't work at all. No control.
ok
fine
good
good one
I really wanted something to help me read pdfs online. I imagined a line across the screen which followed my cursor to help guide my eyes. This is even better than I imagined. I would have given it 6 stars, but when I was looking for a reading guide 8 months ago I did not find this extension. Today I found it because I have a migraine and was looking to dim my screen. I'm so excited to have found this multifunctional tool.
doesnt even work
Literally nothing happened
I like that
optinol
It didn't dim my page at all. It's not working, or doing anything for that matter!
Very helpful!
Is there a hotkey to activate? This neat extension does need to be turned on a lot after updating or refreshing a tab.
exactly what i needed! love it! my eyes feel less abused now. thank you. but one has to reapply it for every page even in the same tab! a bit frustrating!
best app
Hopfully its free unlike the free trial with read and write, so far so good, i love it!
doesnt work
not working
This is such a beautiful extension. More than the usage of the extension, I love the idea behind it and of course, the presentation. Good job developer :). I want to rate it 4.5 stars. 0.5 deducted for manually applying the extension every time. Chrome extension dev team, any way to rate 4.5 stars ?
I love this!
Works as advertised and is very helpful. Thank you.
The only issue i have is how the app needs to be activated when you change tabs or pages. Would be five stars if the settings were universally applied until turned off manually.
Good
Good idea and works well if you are staying on one page. So if you are reading a long article or watching something it's great. But if you're browsing and switching pages you need to re-apply each time you switch a page or a tab. Would give 5 stars if it could be applied and stay applied, but as it is right now it's almost unusable.
This is perfect, not just selecting white, it's an entire page dimmer. Love it.
Great page dimmer! Exactly what I've been looking for!
~If not for this one thing it'd be perfect. Make it automatically be on on all tabs, cuz right now you have to click the icon for each tab individually. ~No special unnecessary, shady, nosey permissions. ~Safe. ~Set it to how you please. ****TIP****: to just dim the page without color tint: turn all 3 colors to 0 and do the same with the 5th-bar(unless of course you like and/or want/need it) and simply slide the 4th-bar to your liking. And there you go it grays/dims the page, color-free.
Love it! Great for dyslexic persons!!
Controllable dim on the whole page, including images! No more will the bright whites hurt my eyes
