Does not work!
Love the way it works but it is not auto detecting for Spotify Web Player. Also JUST SEARCHING isn't even working let alone auto detect... probably one star is more appropriate but I'm hoping it is user error. I read the entire guide provided and changed settings. Oh well... hope the creator can and will address this
Seems it doesn't work on music dot youtube dot com.
Exactly what I was looking for! I think automatically highlighting the current line of the song could work since extensions can inject a script and fect current timing from YT player. It would be like Musixmatch for Chrome

The absolute best extension for displaying lyrics reliably and conveniently from youtube. Great for language learners.
Best extension for lyrics so far. PS pls remove this site "www.ixquick.eu" keeps freaking out about it.
The configuration page is glitchy can't enable any sites in the top list, they only switch to off and can't be turned back on again. The grant all button is nonresponsive.
It used to work But now it just won't show lyrics via for example Genius, it shows "lyrics not find", but if I go to Genius site lyrics are there. Manual search doesn't work either.

The automatic searching isn't working for me for spotify. I have my configuration like so https://imgur.com/a/b6h8For I can manually search but it would be killer if it searched right when I hit play on a song like advertised. Any advice?

Really useful application, matches lyrics in 98% cases correctly, if not after choosing different source of data lyrics are ok - it probably depends on how the title - artist pair is written and what kind of additional information is provided. My rate is 5/5 <3.
Does not work for Spotify (I enabled Spotify in settings). Also does not work in Firefox. Too bad. It used to work perfectly in the past.
Man this is the extension I needed I downloaded like 10+ extensions none were able to find the Hindi music I was trying finally found that works for multiple languages best lyrics extension i could find i dont know why i couldnt find this when i searched it inside the chrome extension browser search but found it in google search, Anyways thankyou loved the extension
It's an amazing Youtube lyrics finder, and the customizable search engine list is very robust. I do wish I could put the button somewhere else on the site though, like in the video description.
Is it working for Spotify web player? It does for youtube, but no in Spotify, the windows shows but it is not automatically showing, i need to search manually.

Will there be support for Youtube Music? Some songs don't have lyrics and it could work great with title artist name properly.

It's a good extension but please add more search providers, or the possibility to customize them. Sites like letras.com or rock.com.ar have a lot of songs in spanish that there are not on other lyrics sites

Please update to support YouTube Music (https://music.youtube.com/). This is the replacement to Google Play Music. This extension not working is holding me back from fully migrating.
Dude this thing searches for lyrics like a blind man... looked for a song which was on genius and this find never found it but I found it manually right away with the exact name it had on spotify... I like it but it doesn't work as it should 50% of the time, least not with me.
I listen to music on Spotify Web Player. This extension works exactly as advertised, even finds obscure lyrics in different languages. Simple, easy to use, and effective. Love it.

Not working on Vivaldi (Chromium-based browser) 3.1.1929.45, it says it cannot read from any source ("Cannot read from [website url], do you want to see lyrics from this source?"), the "yes, add permission" button does not work, plus you cannot enable (nor re-enable) disabled sources from the settings page. Pretty sad about it because I've used it a long time ago and it was great.

Great Extension, but It won't properly search for certain songs with special characters such as dollar signs($). It just leaves them out of the search. Please fix this issue.

App is good and responsive. It would become great if you give manual option to add the sites on which it works. I mean, I wanted to get lyrics for something played on youtube music which I couldn't do. If I was able to add sites by my own then it would have been possible.

Does the job. But really, the author if he is seeing this, should try to make it a little more visually appealing and more proper fit to the chrome- it looks alien, popping a window over my site. But yet, the author has done a great job, appreciate it.

Great app. I really appreciate it. Please, consider add these features 1- customized themes to vary the display of the lyrics. 2- real time highlighting the phrases being heard .. synch with the song
While it's not perfect, the ability to see lyrics instantly for nearly all songs right in the browser is such an awesome feature!

I really like this extension. The only problem is window pop-up mode doesn't work for some reason. It just states, "To see lyrics here (in a separate window), Lyrics Here (version 3.13.2 and higher) must be installed. For more info, see Lyrics in separate window." even though my extension is up-to-date. Other than that, great work, dev!
I have used it for many years with YouTube and it has been a pleasure to be able to read along many songs and videos. I love that there is a dark theme and I can personalize the source of the lyrics. Thank you for such a wonderful app!

This is by far the very best lyric extension for you tube I have ever used! Sure there have been a few lyrics not found for a song but not many at all. Plus the other feature I love it for is all the words are correct. Amazing app. Thank you so much for making it. I won't use any other one but yours. in fact I deleted musixmatch.

It is so bad, even with lots of sources it NEVER finds the result, so i MANUALLY write the song, turned off all other sites and used only genius. So, the extension says it DOESN'T FIND IT ON GENIUS and i click on " search on google " . First result - genius.com. Wow. Just wow.

When I tried Musicmatch, it disabled my auto-play. I love this extension because it's off to the side, It's easy to show/hide. I just started using it, but so far, I love.

This app is perfect for me. Once click of a button and i instantly have lyrics to songs.
Instead of fetching the lyrics instantly as promised, it annoys me asking permission to access Bing, Google etc. even if they are disabled in its configuration. Solve this and I'll give 5 stars. Edit: Nowadays, it's not finding many famous lyrics, only asking for permissions. It says there's a new repository, but doesn't highlight it so I can find it. I'm removing the extension.

Wonderful app! Thanks for such a great work! Would it be possible to add a translation option? I offten listen to songs in other languagues such as Spanish, French, Italian, Chinese, Japanese and it would be really helpful if there is a such translation feature

I use this with Google Play Music, and it works well but has trouble identifying some songs. This is probably fixable by adding more sources in settings. I wish there was an option to auto-scroll, and allow us to pick the speed or go manual at the same time. The 'Google Play Music Desktop Player' on Github has a lyrics feature that auto-scrolls, but it often moves too fast or too slow in the song, and there is no option to change it because the developer is too stubborn.

Really great extension. But the only problem in that in the web player for spotify, the lyrics don't change when the song is changed. If you fix that, its definitely a 5 star extension.
