Worked great until now, but today I can't open a stream without ads popping up. So I guess I'm just not watching twitch. Hope this is solved soon.
Well it quit working, Now it breaks streams were they dont even start. What a ads hell did twitch become. Time to move over to Kick, As we dont need any blockers over there.

Stopped working - 2023-02-09
Currently getting errors whereby it says the stream is offline. Worked perfectly until just today for me.
It worked great, but... It's recently not working, stream basically won't start at all (as if it's offline) and I have to wait or reload multiple times until it works. Again, this pretty much confirms it's the ONLY extension I have that was actually effective (until now). I installed a bunch and didn't know which is which until this one stops working. So I hope it will be updated.
When it works, it's great, but I've noticed lately that even when I turn it off for the pages I have a subscription towards, it still acts like it's enabled, which in turn means I get 7+ seconds of latency added to the streams I watch. This app needs some work.

FOR THOSE HAVING PROBLEMS I think twitch is trying to combat it by using two different ad delivery methods, as both this extension and TTVLOL function differently each blocking the different methods. I have always used both in conjunction as I noticed that some streams have different methods for delivering ads and if one method is used twitch will detect the other, kind of like when they first started blocking ublock. I found if you load up a stream and you get a black loading screen you need to either disable or enable one extension or the other, I found toggling TTVLOL has the most success and usually the stream will immediately load once TTVLOL is toggled. Also if you use Ublock just disable that for twitch as it is useless and many problems may arise from having it enabled as well. So to summarize my methods, PAB + TTVLOL, ublock off -> if black loading screen toggle either PAB or TTVLOL, stream may immediately load or a refresh is needed to ensure it worked. Also both running in conjunction still 100% blocks midrolls, I haven't had a midroll as of 12/3/2022 even after watching some big sponsored streams
EDIT (Jan 21, 2022): Pre-rolls are getting through, very unsure about mid-rolls. Had to switch to the alternative extension. EDIT (Nov 18, 2022): Does not work. Neither does TTV LOL at the moment.

Working as of 11/10/2022. The player will buffer for a second when it blocks an ad and interrupt the stream but it will quickly go back to the stream as if it was just a stutter. Not the best but it works.

It works and does what you want, but it is not low latency at all. My favorite part of Twitch is seeing the chat's reaction as something happens, but this extension made the stream be delayed by 2 or 3 seconds. It's possible this is user error, and if it is, please let me know so I'll revise my review. Otherwise, I recommend another adblocker if you value low latency.

This is the only ad blocker that consistently works for me lately, but it comes with some annoying side effects. Every stream will buffer soon after opening them, which creates noticeable delay between chat and the stream. On top of that the audio will sometimes desync when the buffering stops. It also causes a weird rewind effect when tabbing back into twitch sometimes, which creates even more delay.

Was working for a good few months but has stopped working in the last two weeks. I think I'm still seeing a lot fewer ads then I would on Twitch; however, I still get midroll ads randomly.
Until recently it didnt seem to have problems until the last few days I just buffer lag no matter what stream I open. Only thing I could think of is this new extension and boom as soon as I turn it off the problem ceases to exist. By default I have to give this 1 star until its fixed

Worked great for a while, but it stopped working about a week ago.
It was fine while it worked. Unfortunatelly today it would stop loading the streams altogheter unless you disable the plugin. pity
1 star cuz this is not working. if anyone know an extension that does work and dont change the stream quality to 480p every 10 min let me know . thx
The extension gives two options for blocking. One doesn't work, the other causes the stream to just buffer endlessly.

December 15th 2021, No longer working. Ads Are Appearing. It has been working well, this has been such an improvement in the experience. There can be lag for up 10ish seconds, once you join a stream. Sometimes multiple stuttering or lag/buffering. Just let it happen, and then you should be all good to go.

works > than doesnt changes tunnel from user to local > works again > than doesnt > change it back to user only tunnel again > works again. so i dont know what to make of that but ill keep doing it as long as it keeps working
It doesn't work anymore :( EDIT: I changed the "Tunnel" option from tunnel and local to only user tunnel and seems to work.

It looks like those of us who use these on Twitch are down to one option now. The one that's currently updated works well but latency issues with it can be annoying. Purple Ad Blocker when it works doesn't give me issues in that department really. It looks like those of us who use T adblockers are down to one option and Alternate Player.
Been getting Error #2000 on twitch while using this. It just started today.
Has been working perfectly fine with a minor bit of a lag at the beginning whenever I open a new stream. However, as of 5 minutes ago, I have encountered my first ad in months. Might require an update.
After this most recent update on the 19th of July 2021, it blocks all ads and works great. Best adblocker for twitch right now. Update: 29th of July ads are back

Blocks the purple screens for me, but it will buffer ever 5sec once you switch to 1080p quality. 760p runs fine, but it sucks I can't watch anything at 1080p with this extension.
It was working fine, just started leaking. I've gotten 3 ads in the past 20 minutes
