I can't get it working. I tried both method, 1. installing extension from chrome web store 2. loading unpacked extension in developer option However nothing happens when i run the extension on messenger. Please someone help me if possible !

it is nice but i guess after a limit it starts to remove the massages only for me
The version from here didn't worked, I clicked the button to start and it didn't worked, though everything was fine, but the version from github (built from source, with dev option + load unpacked) worked wonderfully! It even "double checks" every message (unsending them, then deleting them/unsending again and again if it didn't unsent at first), it loads more messages automatically and does everything on its own, perfect 5/5 Loved it.

This thing is so cool. I really want to thank the dev for creating such an extension, This is the exact thing what I needed. BTW if you want to use this thing, just login on 'https://www.messenger.com/' here. It won't work on Facebook website. If the dev is reading my review, I would recommend you to add such features like- 1) The extension will just unsent the sent message(Won't remove the reply) 2) This extension will remove messages from specific time period (Like it will remove the messages from 2/3/2018 to 3/4/2020. 3) It will remove only the messages containing specific words. That's it (I've found a bug that, the extension can not remove stickers and like. Also, it kind of stop working after 1/2h,please fix it) Thanks in advance. Take love ❤
The current version in the store didn't work for me, but the version from GitHub works. It's wonky no doubt. It's buggy. Very buggy... but it works, and it does something wonderful! Just don't let your computer sleep or screen turn off, don't touch it and when it completes the conversation in question uninstall before doing anything else (it doesn't stop unsending...) The dev deserves mad props for this. Thanks!!
The message box goes out of bounds of the browser, and draws on top of it, making it literally unresponsive. I had to close chrome from task manager several times. Terrible user experience.

Notes to make this work: 1st_ you must log in to messenger . com website instead of Facebook . com 2nd_ when you press remove messages the extension shows a text box you must hit enter because it's hidden in the far corner if you don't hit enter the extension won't work just like that and it will delete everything after unsending it i tested it and it works amazingly
