TL;DR: Now I can ghost people without letting them know I read their message. Works as intended! I really love this extension because I read my friend's long rant on fb messenger without getting that annoying a$s "seen" indicator on their end (ain't have energy to respond, lmao). Everything works except for Instagram "Block sending seen" feature. Props to the developer, will dono some $$$ for saving my butt a few times. Thanks for reading my ted talk, have a good day :3

Worked in my testing just now for Facebook, Nice user interface and the perfect tool if you are a introverted person and/or if you hate the seen feature because if you open a message you feel like you have to reply straight away and you like to take your time or have a think about it. 5/5

The instagram hider when you view a insta story doesnt work at all. Maybe it worked at one point, but not anymore, I literally just tested it. It will not hide your profile's identity when you view another person's instagram account.

Excellent extension. However, I hope that the block delivered receipts feature will be fixed since it an important feature.
I haven't reviewed the source code yet, but once you enable all the checkboxes, it DOES work. Tested on Windows.

I have been using various unseen apps for facebook for years but they have stopped working with the new facebook and i haven't been able to find an alternative since until finally stumbling upon this. It works as of 10/07/21 and also comes with instagram unseen stuff and with stories for both so a bigger improvement on whatever I was using before and only records data from facebook and instagram etc not on all sites. Thank you so much for making this :D

It's a perfect substitute for the recently dismantled Chrome extension that I used to use called "Unseen". And it seems to be even more versatile than the said predecessor! I commend and recommend both this app and its developer to any person seeking a bit of privacy in the internet.
Actually what was I searching for. Only thing has to update that is "block delivery" work only for new messages. Not for previous messages. Please add this feature.

Can you fix "Block delivery receipts", It doesn't work when first open the site
It was okay at first but suddenly, it's not working again. Unseen count remains 0 all the time whenever i look at messages. Hope it get's fixed again soon.

Nope it doesn't work for me! people seen me and saw when i read their messages on FB! not to mention avast popped up when i went to social tools website. and the message said "we safely aborted connection on ext.alexstack.dev because it was infected with URL:Scam" i was hopping this would work after unseen was removed for malware!

Works perfectly! Just want to add, Social Tools and Unseen Message (alexstack.dev's simpler version of this extension) don't work together at the same time so you should only use one or the other. But it definitely works ?

DEV,,,alexstack.dev..... i tested the (Beta...Block delivery receipts) its not working..dev, please update and improve...The only working in the extension is Block sending "Seen" to other ...Block sending typing indicator...the Block active status its quite working...And thank you so much

The developer responds fasts and this extension is the only one working among the others.
Simply does not work as of March 1, 2021. Everything is turned on and yet when I check messages, the seen feature still shows up.
