worked fine for my purposes
Does not work.
Wish they had it for Microsoft Edge
??????????? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME! ?? Get "Remove Cookies for THIS Site" and Cookie Editor! ???
Does not work as of 2021.
Works great!
Best app on Chrome. Impossible to read Medium articles otherwhise
Makes you think the cookies were removed when they weren't. After clicking, check in developer tools->application->cookies and see if the cookies are still there. They were for me
Just doesn't work despite the tiny animation the icon makes when you click on it. Do what Robin below says: Hit f12, go to resources, go to cookies, and right click on the site and choose Clear
this just logs me out of my google account, I was reccomended to use this with Google restored but no I just get logged out of my google account and yea.
just tried this on several sites. worked on none. seems useless.
Don't think it works at all. I got it to clear cookies for www.signonsandiego.com which is a newspaper site that doesn't allow you to view more than a few articles before it tries to force you to buy a subscription. Even after repeatedly clicking the icon and its saying "Done" all cookies, including local storage, seem to remain https://i.imgur.com/xJ0CaR8.png So I had to go back to old time consuming method of going in and manually deleting all "sandiego" containing cookies, in order to restart the free articles clock.
Super useful when writing cookies and testing cookie storage.
Excellent for our job.
Simple, easy to use and very useful!
Excelenet for developers .. remove well the cookies and clear a specific site
Not working, as of now
Doing the job
Either doesn't work or misses some of the major ones - either way it doesn't actually delete all of the cookies.
Does not work. Was looking for something equal to the Firefox plugin of the same name but this does nothing at all.
UPDATE I just reinstalled the latest version and it does work with just one click so this is the replacement for Firefox's Remove Cookie(s) for Site. This doesn't really remove all the cookies for a site. I had it alongside 'EditThisCookie' and EditThisCookie showed a long list of cookies that this extension failed to remove. I was logged in to Paypal and after clicking the icon, I was still logged in! When I clicked the icon for EditThisCookie, I was logged out immediately. I feel that this extension gives the user a false sense of security at best. Very bad!
Would be much more useful if cleared localstorage, indexeddb and other forms of storage per site.
Does not work. And it's not necessary anyway, just press f12, go to resources, go to cookies, and right click on the site and choose Clear. That actually works.
Works flawlessly!
It deletes all cookies for the current page when you click. That's it. No feedback. Not necessary. Wonderful!
No longer does anything.
LOVE THIS!!!! Ok so it doesn't tell you it did its job, and I wish it did, but, I am now able to use a site that defied all my attempts to clear its cookies and still said there was a cookie error. So, 5 stars and thank you a million times for this fabulous extension!!!!!
worked great . the indication it is working is the busy notifier in bottom left corner, then you reload the page or do whatever, and you will see your cookies are gone, if like for me it was a visible problem. If not, then idk what the problem is anyway. Why do you need the cookies removed?
Doesn't work for me.
Like it's already been said a thousand times, This need some kind of visual indicator that it has worked ie : "8 cookies were deleted". Also ability to add to right click menu would be useful too.
Does nothing
Worked nicely it just doesn't tell you it's done anything!
Worst extension ever! Does not remove any cookies even after clicking the icon. Screwed up UI.
It does work! But it removes all cookies from all sites! Beware!
Totally slick, quick, straightforward. fixes broken website behavior when cookies are goofed up, without clearing all my browser cookies. Yay. A popup message would be nice, though.
Did nothing.
Doesn't work. Doesn't show response when clicking the cookie. Please update with more informative responses.
doesnt do anything. i click it on the site im developing, reload the page and cookies are the same. Thanks for nothing.
Doesn't work. Does not clear cookies for the current site. I can search for the cookies and they still appear. Probably a version compatibility issue but c'mon.
Just do not work
Does not work!!! Clicking the tab does nothing, I mean nothing. Nothing happens. How about some instructions. I'm not the only one with this problem
Guys, it does work! (no 5th star because the problem is it doesn't inform you it has done its job - like changing cookie's colos - hence all the confusion.) At first I experienced what others said "nothing happened" and "took be to download site", but then I saw the light.... Proper Steps: 1. click on the CORRECT tab for the site whose cookies you want to delete. 2. click the icon 3. reload that tab and you will see your "state" has been reset to new visitor. NOTE -- Yes, if you right click and then select the top option, it takes you to the Chrome store page. (makes sense now that I understand.)
Simple. It works. Solves a problem.
Works for me! Ugly icon, good extension.
Great plugin! Quick, easy and effective.
Doesn't work. Using it brings me to the extension's page.
For an extension whcih only has one button, this is very confusing! Clicking the button doesn't do anything (no response to say teh cookies were cleared) and right clicking and choosing "Remove cookies for site" just seems to open an "About this extension" type page. It seems I'm not the only person with this problem. Either they've really screwed up the UI (for the single button!) or are otherwise going against the conventions used for all other extensions (left clicking the button should tell it done something and the about link should clearly say "About this extension").
Doesn't work for me. I click it and cookies still exist for current site.
Very helpful :)
It doesn't work. When I click the button it doesn't clear cache and when I right click it to clear cache it just opens a new page to this very extension.
Really handy for web dev! Thank you for creating it!
awsm. works great.
Exactly what I was looking for, a tool to remove cookies from a specific site that, in my case, track your site visits so they can charge a fee for online viewing.
Awesome! Thank you. Some feedback or options options would be nice.
Absolutely simple and brilliant! This is a life saver since that error with chrome and too many redirects is never ending!
Great cookie that simply removes all the cookies from ONLY the site loaded in your current tab. This may be the only extension that serves this specific purpos.
This application would be much more useful if it gave you a chance to review cookies before choosing to delete them. The On-Demand Cookie Editor at least shows which cookies it deletes.
Exactly what I was looking for. All other cookie removers did not work at all. Thank you!
Great idea. Is it possible to get feedback when I click the cookie so that I know it did something (e.g. cookies deleted / failed to delete cookies) ?
Really nice extension, but I can see a couple of improvements: - A menu item, so I can clear cookies even if I choose to hide the Cookie-icon. - An (optional) confirmation dialog, to prevent accidentally clearing cookies. Thanks for a great app!
Very helpful! When I used to clear out cookies I would have to waste time going into the control panel. Also, it would clear out all of my other tab's cookies, too. So I'd have to log back into my other sessions while I was developing. Thanks!!
Quick and efficient way to delete cookies on pesky websites
Pont azt teszi amit kell, remek alkalmazás!
Just want I needed to selectively clear the cookies for a particular site I was having trouble logging in to.
Very useful for me. Delete cookies of current site fast and easy. I appreciate it.
The description should add the words "delete" and "kill", as I ALWAYS forget that the author has called it "remove". In addition, "single domain" and "one domain only" and similar phrases should be added, several times. It takes forever to find this tools using Google. Which is rather funny in its own unfunny way.
This works perfectly, especially for pesky websites that meter your pageviews.
doesn't work for httpOnly cookies, which chrome doesnt even show in the developer tools Set-Cookie:PHPSESSID=kugideo23i5q8frliiu4lued50; path=/; httponly
Works great for me! Thanks!
