Very limited record of browser history -> only went 4 months back! (8,000 opened URL's). I've always figured that the browser history was essentially kept on google's servers because of how slow the history pages load (and because google does store your browser history on their servers - although they claim have a page somewhere where you can choose to "delete" your browser history, although technically it's only removing your ability to see that part of your history, developers with high paying jobs within google could likely view all of your information thought gone for however long anytime in the future"...... You can download your history directly from google's website which has been storing your history based off every chrome browser you've been logged into and using, for as long as you want the history to last. (There's also other interesting things like your GPS data and a map of your travels, speed [if you have a smartphone with chrome or another google apps on it] you might have a detailed travel history to look up where you were/when/at what time and for how long you've ever been away - ever, on any day (I've find it quite useful).

Thank you! The very best one here. You don't need some fancy process to convert. I wanted anything that would capture my history URLs. On phone and pc, just open as text, since Json is text based format, And save as html. Bingo. Thank you again !!!! Nym

Used to work, as of today it throws a "Failed - Network error".

It worked fine to export the JSON. Only issue is that it groups everything together with "visitCount" rather than giving a full itemised list. I'd rather have each row kept as-is, like you'd get on the normal Chrome history page.

works great does exactly what it says ! but it is possible to save your history without this extension , just depends on what type of file you want it saved with !!

It's pretty much useless to me. All I wanted was the export of a list of websites accessed by date. Don't need all the excess information exported by this extension. Should be able to set options for what data is exported.

It does one thing: simple history export. That's *exactly* what I was looking for. The JSON format is perfect for reading into my script or even just scanning it visually, and it doesn't require unnecessary permissions.
