It used to work great (for copying text from images). But since the last update it regularly fails, and has to be removed then reinstalled to repair. Support is responsive but can not offer a solution.

Used to work, now it doesn't. Simple as that. Also requires an account.

80% of the times is able to convert image text into text, but not always, most of the times theres need to manual editiing, still found it interesting. Seems it doesnt work in youtube ? This extension not able to convert text present in a paused YT video ?

I have to disable because it breaks JSFiddle - it never loads when this extension is enabled. Please fix

It is ok, it works sometimes but for the majority of time does not and pastes stuff like "eee oa eee ee ee Ce cae"

It seems to only work for JavaScript. I tried to search for something in python and it didn't find anything. I also tried in a JS file to search for python and came up empty. it still needs a bit of fixing.

Extension not working .So please resolve it soon.

I've been using blackbox on Jupyter notebook for the past few weeks and it is really awesome

Firsts three times it worked nicely, fourth time it stop working, and one can see that´s progamed to be like that. Don´t make something "free" if it's not going to be free, you don't gonna get more salles doing this

Worked great at first. Not reacting at all anymore. Huge Potential, no result

Works really well but!! Its giving some error (continuosly) in console log whenever I press Ctr in Windows 11 in Google Chrome. As a developer, I need to see many things in console logs, but this makes the developer tools a little messier! Error Message: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'CodeMirror') at <anonymous>:7:17 (anonymous) @ VM25438:7 setTimeout (async) (anonymous) @ VM25438:5

It is indeed a useful tool but it needs some small improvements

I like the tool. It works properly most of the time. I'm using the premium version. I have been having trouble getting answers from support so I have to take a star away for that and for a feature that was removed with no warning. What happened to the feature that allows you to search within a youtube video?

its a great extension but as a broke collage student paying that much is just bad.

I searched for an extension like that for long time.

It works ok, but it doesn't copy a longer code. I have to select and copy one half of the code, and then select and copy the other...

I hate blackbox now. It's not copying anything. I have tried from last month but not copying properly any code from image or video. Please solve this problem if there is bug.

after reading all the reviews i just can't help but feel puzzled .... it doesn't work for me no matter what, and i tried installing it on two different web browsers, chrome and edge but its the same issue .... i cant seem to be able to copy any texts the box appears to mark the text but after that nothing happens, im not sure what the problem is i tried to uninstall it and reinstall it again but the same issue remains can someone please help me in solving this issue

This tool is amazing! I have used it during work for generating small snippets of code that I need (converting between formats, boilerplate code in react, etc). On top of that, the team is great when it comes to providing support. I was having some issues with my account and someone got back to me quickly and was able to fix my problem :)

It could be a best extension, but now isn't. Because it's premium is too expensive. And free version have limited used. We need free use unlimited click as we want. We will premium after getting full satisfaction.

worst extension and asks for money after using it for some time.

They offered the Lifetime deal for $5 on Appsumo and attracted hordes of users. Then one day they silently broke the lifetime deal promise and forced everybody to buy their paid version. This is bad business practice. Had they continued with a workable free version (only if with some restricted scans per day), people would have opted for their paid plans. Now it takes less than 1 minutes to install Textgrab - which works better and absolutely free. Bye bye Blackbox.

Update 2022.07.14 Free version no more. Does NOT work at all without paying. I understand wanting to be reimbursed for your time and effort. I love this extension. How about a one time, reasonable fee? If you make substantial upgrades then charge for the upgrade for those who need it. But $6.20 per month or $60 per year is insane. Deleted and moved to CopyFish. Does not work as well, but it' still free.
