I have been using Boomerang for years and absolutely cannot do without it. The reminders/prompts have kept things from falling through the cracks so many times, and I love knowing that when I "boomerang" something, it will not get lost. I recently needed to contact support about my account (not a functionality issue), and the quick response and assistance I received was far above my expectations.

Love this plugin but it has really started to slow down Gmail to the point that it is unusable and I keep having to disable the plugin.

'm a busy business owner, and I love to stay in touch with my clients, but it's hard to keep up with my inbox. Fortunately, Boomerang for Gmail makes it easy to follow up with emails that I may otherwise forget. I just added it as a browser extension, and whenever I want to send an email back to myself at some later point, I simply click the "Boomerang" button before sending it. It's also nice that I can think of something late at night and have Boomerang send it in the morning so I have time to react before getting caught up in work again. I love this tool. It makes it easy for me to remember to follow up with emails I may otherwise forget!

I installed this to send myself monthly reminders (aka Recurring Messages). Under Plans and Pricing it says "It is free to use Boomerang, up to a limited number of messages per month." But even before the first reminder was sent, Boomerang informed me that to continue using Recurring Messages, I'd need to subscribe. I get it, but I sure don't need it. Removed. "After the trial ends, all of your Boomerangs and Send Laters will be delivered as scheduled. However, your Recurring Messages will be canceled. If you'd like to upgrade your subscription to allow for unlimited messages and premium features, click the link below to purchase a subscription. Buy a subscription"

Boomerang saved me so much time and hassle at work. An incredible amount. It's easier to use than the native snooze in gmail and so much more flexible (and a ton of other features). Everyone I showed it to ended up getting it as well and loved it. Very, very highly recommend.

Excellent app to help write emails. The green bars (on desktop) have literally increased the quality of my emails to people 200%-300%. I've used Boomerang this last a lot for job and client communications, which need to be pro. Bars go from 1-7, so you can see if your email is trash or closer to gold. Subject Body Question Highly recommended. High Five to the dev team on this one. PS. As a person with writing challenges, this helps a lot with proofing the quality of an engaging, thoughtful email. It is a life gift.

I could not work without that extension! It has brought me back to Inbox 0, and allows me to be so much more reactive. The most useful productivity app in my full toolbox, bar none.

LOVE the Boomerang Calendar and being able to quickly share my LIVE availability with anyone with a couple clicks. It's by far the best implementation of this. I HATE everything else about this app. Way too many unwanted features that I can't turn off. It takes over my whole Gmail experience when I really only want one button when composing emails. Disabling the extension for this reason, which is a bummer. I already pay for Calendly and would gladly pay monthly to have this calendar feature by itself.. Until then, I am uninstalling this extension.

Worst email tracker ever. I didnt even find any tracking details regarding the send mail. Worst User experience also. cant find any information anywhere. I cant close the help video. why are there so many permissions required. so many clicks. I cant believe they charge all this when there are free alternatives available like mailtrack, openedornot, mail alert

This works really well except that in gmail the draft I'm working is often obscured by the gmail menu bar and I cannot minimize or maximize. I tried disabling other extensions and the problem persists. Now that Gmail has a send later feature this bug might be really difficult to overlook. Already tried troubleshooting and was told that it was probably another extension.

Boomerang takes over your email and all I want was the availability sharing. They should have a version just for that. In addition, whether or not it even showed up was unpredictable. I tried to share my availability a few times and it wasn't even an option in those emails. Total fail.

Boomerang has changed my life... I own a food buisness and we do a ton of catering, this has helped me miss less leads that can easily "fall through the cracks" of a really busy inbox/leads not responding in a timely manner. I have not been able to get myself to use the app on my mobile device (I still use Apple Mail, which, sucks). I just need to change my behavior. But generally, for the low cost of this product, I think it was worth it, it has calmed my "inbox anxiety" 10 fold!

Today I will sadly be removing this extension. I really like it's goal but each time in the last month I've gone to use it the requirement to agree that the extension has the right to delete all my emails is a permission I'm unwilling to give. So not as a result of bad experience but simply bad permissions.

I've been personally using Boomerang for over 2 years and like it. But I can still not use it for our business. I wish they had an extra feature that would pop up the outgoings an hr before the scheduled time and ask to either confirm to send by the initially set time or snooze it to another date/time. This feature alone can help Service providers/ real state businesses tremendously. Thank you,

Max Pietsch (Max) December 28th, 2019

I didn't like that I have to pay $15/mo to schedule a recurring message. I understand that there needs to be some fee because Boomerang has to pay for the servers to send the message, but the payments could be more 'pay for what you use' because I'd be happy to pay 50 cents a month or something for the one recurring message I want to schedule.

I like the functions of Boomerang (scheduled sendouts, scheduled followups)...BUT, ever since I started this service, my gmail seems to have a bug and often have the words 'defined' or 'undefined' pop up in the formatting of my text and it takes minutes of retyping, backspacing, deleting to get the words away - seems like a glitch I'm having with Boomerang implementation, which has proven to not be worth the functions it gives.

I have now used Boomerang for about 5 years across 3 different accounts. The scheduled send feature is great and the feature that I have used the most.I have also enjoyed the "Boomerang" feature. The read receipts are also useful but I have only used that feature 5 or six times over the 5 years I have had the extension. The "pause" function I have yet to find a use for. Today however I am uninstalling the Boomerang extension. Gmail has added a "Schedule Send" feature that renders the "send later" feature obsolete. Gmail's "Snooze" function while different from the "Boomerang" feature does everything I need and want from that feature.I am okay with giving up the Read Receipts as there are other services that provide over receipts 10 per month at no charge. Finally I will not miss the "Pause" function as I have never used it. All in all this is a great and useful extension but Google now provides its functionality, (and does it on mobile) with out me needing to share the contents of my message with a third party. It seems that this idea was so good that Google is taking it and implementing it. The development team should be proud of the work they did here.

Working with a small non-profit, I wear many hats. I'm lucky enough to work with some great folks who always try to respond right away when I send an email. Sometimes I have to contact them with an issue, but I don't want it addressed right now - it's disruptive to current projects. Or, sometimes I'm not ready to address it, myself. Either way, I don't want to drop the ball, and forget to bring it up later! So, I set the email to send the next morning, or next week. I can keep work flow uninterrupted, and nothing gets left out. It's also REALLY helpful keeping track of what I need to follow up on. Boomerang is extremely helpful. Thank you!

This morning when I installed Boomerang For GMail on another Chromebook. I decided to "Take The Tour." The tour background transistion bleneded in with the rest of the text includding my GMail background photo. I could barely see the 4 slide "Take a tour" demo. Please reduce the transparency so it doesn;t blend in with other text in GMail. Overall: I like Boomerang.

This extension has greatly improved my GMail experience since 2016. Delayed sending of emails, the respondable AI display, and having emails pop back into the inbox after a set time were all very useful and simple features I've loved interacting with. This extension doesn't work as seamlessly with gmail as I would like. I have used a different extension that worked within gmail and I could easily find my drafts. Boomerang opens one or two extra tabs and requires a bit of a learning curve. I'm sure it has a bunch of fun features, but I don't have the time or inclination to learn them. I just needed to schedule outgoing emails within gmail and there's a better app for that.

Where did all my tracked messages go? I can't find that screen. Nm ... found it. Why is it under "manage scheduled messages"? Little things like that are kind of funky. Also I would like to be able to see the email that was tracked in that database (or a link to it or something).

Jamie S October 11th, 2018

It's got this huge PAUSE INBOX button right on top above the inbox menu. This button is 4x the size of the Inbox link, and I keep clicking it when I try to go to my inbox. I searched and could not find a way to get rid of this ridiculous button. Every time I accidentally click it, I have to sit and wait for the Boomerang dialogue box to open, inviting me to install Boomerang. When I click cancel, another box pops up saying there was an error authenticating. I really like Boomerang for scheduling emails, but this is too annoying and inconvenient to keep loading all these dialogues because the button is the size of a house.

I checked for different services/free features for about 2 hour. Then setup /resetup of the needed recurring messages. 2h. Then finding out in a email 1 month later i needed to pay for this service. It was not described on the webpage or when i install it. I alway choose to not activate trial premium features, if possible, because of things like this. I dont find it reasonable to pay 5$ a month for 3 recurring messages a month. If it was a one time fee of 100$ for "lifetime", ok..

It used to be great but now they limit the number of emails you can schedule to ONLY 10 A MONTH. Additionally, trying to edit the message after you've schedule it is a nightmare and ruins the formatting originally made in the gmail compose email box. Not worth the hassle for something so straight-forward. Just use another add-on.

Don't get scammed! Boomerang have been billing me for the last 3 years for the former work email that has been inactive, so I could not have used their services. I've been trying to contact Boomerang support since March 4, and I haven't received any response, so I had to uninstall Boomerang. Posting here to try and get a response: I tried emailing and posting in support with no success. I don't like one feature of Boomerang: where Boomerang shows up as a "move to" option. As background, on gmail, when I click on an email, I choose "move to" so that I can archive the email into one of my folders. I really like my current system: even though I have a lot of folders, I named them in such a way that I don't have to scroll through the folders-- the most important and commonly used folders show up first alphabetically. For example, "career," "financials," and "housekeeping" show up earlier in the alphabet, and so I am able to archive emails quickly. However, when I had Boomerang installed, Boomerang has taken over my "move to" option. I tried renaming the Boomerang folder to "zBoomerang," but that messed up the system. Boomerang support, please contact me and advise: how do I remove Boomerang as an option in my "move to" system? I want to remove the "Boomerang," "Boomerang-Outbox," "Boomerang- Outbox cancelled," and "Boomerang-returned" from my "move to option," as it is very annoying. I already attached a picture of "move to" for reference in my email to support. Also for reference: I tried the "managing labels" settings in gmail and hiding the labels, but it didn't work. I tried nesting the Boomerang labels under a new label I made, "zBoomerang," but Boomerang spawned three new labels called Boomerang, Boomerang-Outbox, and Boomerang-Return.
